I bought one of the bags in and Sarah helped me grind it using their machine. She was so nice and friendly. She made sure I got every last ounce of my organic coffee. The seafood department lady was also friendly. She gave us a couple bags of ice for our cold groceries since we had a couple of stops before going home. The store is clean and welcoming. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I love coming here to shop!

I happened to be in the area on a Wednesday and stopped by here to grab 2 items being released this week. I found the cat scratchers- so cute! I grabbed a record player to use now and a piano one for later on- and my cat loves it, especially with the ball insie of it. Plus it looks fun, unlike most boring cat scratchers. I also wanted to grab stainless steel bento boxes for my kids, but they didn't have any of the blue color left on the very first day of release- just a purple one. On the way out, I spotted a box of wedge pillows and they had a denim one left so I grabbed it. On checkout, it was also 50% off, so I grabbed another one for both of my kids beds.

I usually like going to Aldi for certain snacks and frozen meals and some food staples since the prices are low and they have generic versions of premium brands across different food categories. The surrounding area of the store is in a unsafe area so please be aware and keep in mind the store workers won't help you pick out or find items and many of the times I've stopped by they have been out of stock of my favorites. Checkout lines are long and the employees seem simply miserable but they try to get you in and out. I will say the prices will always have me coming back but the bathrooms desperately need a proper cleaning. Also they need to clean the store more frequently there is always a strange smell in the air and the clientele is a bit scary as well.

I don't mind so much that they don't have everything. I want/need, and I still manage to find new things they carry only every once in a while. I enjoy the Aldi knock off brands that are significantly cheaper than the brand names, and it's fun to be able to 'splurge' by letting my kids get the fake doritos or the fake Hawaiian rolls every once in a while. Although I don't always get the 'natural' brand version of things, even the 'non-natural' brand lacks things like corn syrup, which I appreciate. A couple visits ago, I picked up some Aldi specialty pumpkin pasta sauce, and it was divine. Was hoping there would be another bottle, but this time it was Pumpkin Chipotle! Also got some Key Lime hot sauce. And some pumpkin bagels. I am glad I am old enough to not be swayed by anything in the aisles of shame (IYKYK). And I always, always carry at least 1 quarter in my purse at all times now.

However we stayed and ended up having a great time. Tati was working the counter and she made all the difference. It was two of them plus that thing I came with; we talked about everything from missing home to traveling to surviving in this world. For drinks, I had some margarita mix and it was good. The açaí and smoothie spot shares the same area and they had plenty foot traffic. Will have to try that next. There is no shortage of different hot food bars at this Publix (pizza, pasta, burritos, subs) and sushi bar. It's worth a visit, wish it was closer to my house, I'd live there!

They carry the brands you know and love but in flavors you have never seen before. In this small space you can browse snacks, drinks, candy, chips, cookies, and T shirts from around the world. Have ever tried black Mountain Dew from Singapore? How about Honey Chili Doritos from Korea? Some of the unusual snacks I discovered were fizzy Oreos, Cotton Candy flavored Starburst, Lucky Charms pancake mix, and a Twix flavored drink. I am a fan of Japanese snacks and candy and I saw things here I have never seen before. The owner was so friendly too. They only drawback I found was the prices were on the high side. For instance the Ramune, a Japanese soda known for their glass marble was expensive. I have found them for as low as a $1.50 a bottle in Five Below and they were selling it for $5 and $6 a bottle here. Of course they had Hello Kitty and flavors I have never seen before, where as Five Below carries the more basic flavors. I think Petezpop is more for the true collector who plans on displaying the bottles. I enjoyed checking them out though. It would be nice if they put prices and where they are from on the items. You have to ask what everything costs. If you can't make it in person they have a online store with free shipping on orders over $75.

I've tried a couple different Red Bull flavors (passionfruit, Chinese Red Bull, and a Japanese one). The staff at PetezPop is super friendly and helped me understand what all the different chip flavors were since they were in Chinese or Japanese. I enjoyed the Mexican Doritos as well. Overall, this is a great candy store and will continue to stop by as our office is on the same block.
