I love all Trader Joe's store. I always make sure wherever I move I know where my closest Trader Joe's is located. I've got to say, their prices are fantastic! I love the variety of foods they have that the regular grocery stores don't carry, such as Indian frozen dinner meals! I love where this Trader Joe's is located, right next to a Panera if you get hungry and the Home Goods store for all your home decor needs. I high suggest you all try the MUSHROOM RISOTTO in the frozen section--it is a delicious and fast side dish, all you have to do is heat it up. Very small Trader Joe's. Parking is a nighmare around lunchtime, and the store feels very crammed when there are a lot of people there. The wine selection is not that great. The arugula and couscous salad (with pimento dressing) is absolutely the best salad I've ever had. It's just the right portion size, the chicken is REAL and delicious and the couscous makes the dish. You can find this salad with all the other pre-made salads. Try it - you'll be hooked!! read more

I am in here at least twice a week. I love this store. The employees at this store are the epitome of great customer service. I especially love shopping here in the fall and in the winter. I also believe the employees set the tone for how the customers interact with each other, as the employees determine the energy and vibe of the establishment, which is why I have never seen any altercations or arguments while shopping. I'm sure there have been, but it must be very rare. We, the customers are happy and pleasant while shopping, as we greet each other, and are respectful of one another because you guys give that to us and I just wanted to say thank you. I've been to this Trader Joe's before on a weekday morning at opening. A great time to visit since the parking lot and store are fairly empty. But this time, on a Sunday afternoon, the parking lot was completely packed with bad drivers driving clogging traffic by going the wrong way on one-way lanes. Miraculous I was able to find parking. Then the store ... much smaller than the Trader Joe's that I'm used to visiting (Las Vegas and San Diego). You don't notice how small it is when the store is open but gosh, when they are crowded, you can't even move around. It took as long to go from the back of the store to the front registers as it took to wait for the 4 people in front of me in line to get rung up. At least the employees are as helpful here as they are in less-hectic locations. read more

I've a devoted Trader Joe's shopper and have been to a lot across the country. This one, while extremely small, is always well stocked and the employees are super helpful. I would give it more starts but I'm a vegetarian and take issue with the free samples. On 2 separate occasions I asked the clerk behind the food counter if the sample had meat in it and each time I was told it didn't, only to find out after trying it that the sample included chicken. They really should prominently display what ingredients are in the samples. Luckily I don't have allergies but it's a big risk if you do. read more

I love this Trader Joe's, and one of my favorite locations of all the ones I've visited thus far. Located right by the airport, near Sepulveda & La Tijera, it's got ample parking in the adjacent lot, shared with a Panera & Kohls. The store itself isn't that large, compared to the one in West LA or Santa Monica, but for its size, it's got plenty for good products. I really like TJ's salad & ready-made food to go area. They're so easy to pickup & bring them into work. Best of all, service at this location by far is the best. The other day, I was looking for some cold remedies, and the young lady took me right to the aisle, and offered me some of their best items. This is what sells & triggers me to come to this location--excellent customer service. For me, this location is all about convenience & service. Way to go, Trader Joe's :) Overall grade: A read more

Tends to get pretty packed, but staff is always so friendly and the crowd is so nice that it has never annoyed me. There were a few times however, that I went and I felt like produce were not stocked. There were 3 pineapples left, 2 bags of apples, so all leftover. If it is not cheaper, then I refuse to spend the same amount of money. Other than that, it's a perfectly fine place to shop. Came here looking for something to munch on for lunch. I was worried because of all the reviews about this location being so crowded. It was lunch time so I was expecting chaos but it was actually not too bad. The only inconvenience was that the shelves were being restocked which is nice but not when a bunch of people are trying to get around the guys restocking the shelves. The flowers outside look really sad. Maybe it was the heat but none of the bouquets looked pretty. This was kinda disappointing to see before you walk inside. A lot of the items were misplaced on the shelves so it looked a little messy. I guess because so many people pick up items to take a closer look and just toss them back wherever they please. i definitely do not want to come here on a super super busy day! read more

I LOVE trader Joes, and this store is great. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it is so small. It gets crowded very quickly and adds to the stress of shopping. The products they offer are all good quality and they have a good variety but they run out of the most popular items very quickly. The staff do their best in these conditions and help as much as possible, but it still is a very small store. I shop here all the time and love all the great foods they offer, just wish it was bigger. read more

But the worst part is that they don't staff properly - the cashier's are bogged down with 6+ people in every line and they have NO baggers. This is my go to place for almost everything I need for sustenance and things I really enjoy eating. Its got almost everything I need and they all somehow seem more wholesome and less processed and yes, more like the local grocery store I remember from yesteryear. Certainly not the blatantly processed and packaged stuff you go to Ralfs for. Even tho this is not a Whole Foods, you typically find more discerning food shoppers here. The staff is friendly, helpful and always stacking shelves or something. Oh and the checker-outers are expert packers. Its a little smallish - we almost always have to avoid bumping into shoppers in the isle, but this adds to the local store feel. How ever there is only one grip I really have and that is some times it is hard to find a bag of apples without any of them having a dent. Even the bananas need to be examined closely for dents before selection. If you could take care this, then my food shopping experience will have been enhanced. read more

I came to this Trader Joe's because I went to a store next to it but will never will go back the cashier was really nice and was putting things inside my bag everything was good till some one came to help her put my groceries in the bags she started throwing everything in the bad and rushing the cashier and talking about to bad she wanted to go on her break already.The whole time she was throwing everything in the bags she was talking about that I didn't really like the way she was handing the food I was buying but I said nothing then she handed me the shopping cart and I load everything in my car Went home and my boyfriend put the groceries away the next day I was looking for what I had bought i realize she dint put all the bags in the shopping cart because I was missing 7 items I call the store the next day and they said to go back but I don't live close so I'm not able to go anytime soon.I never had a bad experience in any Trader Joe's and I go every weekend to do grocery shopping and never had such bad experience!until I went to this location read more

It stays crowded in there. I know it's the one by the airport but there's one a few miles away in Culver City and in Manhattan Beach for the locals as well. Another thing this place stays is cold. It could be 80 degrees outside, I can guarantee you it's about 40 in there. Nevertheless, friendly staff that's for the most part willing to go the extra mile for its customers. It's okay here. It is normally packed. No matter what time of the day you go. I hate going at lunch, which is the only time I do go since I don't live in the neighborhood because the local people are normally doing their shopping here. Favorite place to shop. Cashiers are always super friendly. Whenever I see an item missing on the shelf an employee always runs to the back to grab more. This is my favorite Trader Joe's. They have all the things you expect from Traders (ie awesomeness in many different cans). But, these guys never get too crowded as many of these stores tend to do. I love trader joes and I love this one because its by my house I also like the location it's in on Fridays I get my car washed and walk over here for my weekly veggies. It can get crowded with locals such as myself or visitors because it is less than one mile from lax airport so sometimes around 5-7pm it can get a little frustrating but the staff is always friendly and every register is always open so your wait time is never long. read more
