I love Robert's as well as the owner. He is super friendly and has steadily grown over the years. Always enhancing the quality of his products and expending his inventory for his customers. It's such a relief that I can go here to grab most of what I need without having to drive several miles to the nearest grocery chain. This is a great place for the community and a safe haven. No need to worry about safety or loitering. The only bone I have is the $.75 fee for electronic payments. And you have to ask for a receipt otherwise they will not provide it. Other than that. Great store!

We lived around the corner from Robert's market years ago and totally forgot about the meat market. Yesterday, we were craving tacos and Yelped led us back to Robert's market. Got 3 lbs pf chicken thighs and 3 lbs of carne asada. We also bought guacamole, pico de gallo, shrimp ceviche and green salsa. Omg, love, love, live the guacamole! It hd so much flavor, the best guac I've had! The pico de gallo is also very good. It had the right flavor and it was fresh. The asada meat was so flavorful, the taco was delicious! The chicken was ok. I felt that it could have been more marinated but nonetheless, it was good and we enjoyed it with all the fixings! The service was phenomenal. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The gentleman at the fresh meat area was helpful and gave awesome service. The market was stocked well and had everything we needed. Except for the tortilla chips we bought was a bit stale. Anyway, we were glad to be back and the meats were as good as we remembered. If you're in the area and looking for quick items or looking for fresh meats, definitely stop at Robert's market.

I frequent this market daily. Zoey, Patrick and Wendy always display great customer service. Always find what I need in the market. I noticed there is deli menu. Maybe can add wings and fries, crab ceviche, potato wedges, loaded baked potato, fried chicken, fried rice, fried/grilled shrimp/fish, different variety to the menu that caters to the local LA area. Different deli sandwiches or a "sandwich or item" of the week. read more

They recently renovated the place and it'sthe perfect neighborhood grocery store. We buy all our stuff here now. My roommate and I live right near by and we do all our shopping here now, all the time! Their meat department is especially great! We don't need to go to the big grocery stores because they have meat we can't get elsewhere at really good prices. All the staff, Zoey, Fidel and the other are always super friendly. No idea how this place has so many stars. It is similar to a gas station convenient store. I am truly baffled as to whom is writing such glowing reviews for this place. It's an average convenient store. There is nothing wrong with it at all, but I would caution folks from visiting with the expectation that they will be treated to a wide assortment of gourmet items. If you go with any expectations like that in mind, you will be disappointed. read more

This place is phenomenal! It's one block from my house and often walk there with my baby. It's a one stop shop!! They have everything from liquor to baby goods and some of the best homemade hummus and ceviche I've had!! The customer service is superb too!! So fortunate to live so close to it. We love this place, found it a year ago staying near the airport for an early flight the next day. And then did the same recently. It's got a lot of small grocery store appeal mixed with her great convenience store and then you have this phenomenal deli and meat department with incredibly delicious baked goods as well. Fresh desserts, great salads. Very nice. Alcohol selection. Not much more. I can think of for the store to do better app than just be Roberts!!! read more

My man Abraham knows how to treat his customers and whip up a great garlic humus and ceviche! This place has superb customer service, great beer selection, and top quality meats. This is one of the few places in town that sells tomahawks and porterhouses with fine marbling at a great price point! A real chance for relatively new owners to connect with the community they chose to invest in and they blew it! I am a disabled member of the community, went there to get a couple things during a potential medical emergency and the rudeness I received from the cashier was astounding! I left the item and went across the street to the gas station instead. NEVER AGAIN!!! read more

Came to this store on my Lunch break to get a tobacco product and something to drink, Mind you i am a African-American with dreads. As i am oauing for my items the manager stopped the clerk from giving me my items i paid for and Said "You are not Welcome in this store anymore" I am immediately confused he threatened the police and even when i asked him multiple times if he even recognizes me as i put my hair back out of my face, he still threatens the police and even says " i know what you did last night" at that point i knew it was a profiling issue i made a decent length recording and he even saved my info from my credit card to give to the police.. I don't know how to feel i have never experienced something like this. - He charged me double for the items i had originally purchased as well.. 0/5 i could understand being mad someone did whatever they did in the store but blaming a random African American that walks into your store is wild, I would have stayed till the cops showed up if i wasn't on my lunch break just to let him realize how idiotic he looked and sounded. read more

Yesterday I was here and I bought some beer and only got change for five dollars when I gave them 10. I came back after paying and clerk told me to come back and talk to the owner today as long as I remembered the time they would review the footage on the security camera Then when I came back today the clerk told me no that's not right Owner is not here. This place has always seemed very shady to me. Sometimes I can see people asking for some clerk that's not there maybe they deal drugs out of here also This is one time that the 7-Eleven around the corner is way better read more

He was highly professional, apologized for the unacceptable service, assured me he had spoken to the staff so it wouldn't happen again, and went out of his way to completely cover the cost of my order. It takes a lot for a business to own their mistakes and make it right, and I really appreciate that ownership actually cares about their customers. ORIGINAL EXPERIENCE: Do not order delivery directly from their website. I originally placed an order online for a couple beers and two bottles of liquor, and despite living only 2.8 miles away, I was called by an employee named Angelo who told me it would take 4 hours to deliver. When I expressed frustration, he offered zero compensation or alternative solutions. He claimed there was "no manager" to speak to, and told me to just go use DoorDash or Grubhub instead because nobody wanted to drive a moped less than 3 miles. It is incredibly frustrating when a business takes your money for an advertised service, refuses to fulfill it, and then tells you to go pay extra fees on a third-party app. Overall, I'm giving 3 stars because Amar's excellent response and accountability balanced out Angelo's initial terrible service.

Always have a great time here on the inside or their long patio with flat screens outdoors (as well as in) to catch the latest events. DJs always spinning the best beats. The brewery where the make the magic is pretty spacious yet intimate. Was able to go on a tour here and learn more about the ins and outs. The taproom is stellar for group hangs and socials. Pool tables, photo booth, arcade style games, loungey area, communal seating, and local food vendors who come out and serve up great eats. Not as many vegan friendly spot, though the few that are on select days and times are pretty solid. If you're an IPA enthusiasts they have at least 6 on the rotation including the Nose Job (7% abv) and a personal fav. Their Hydration Break WC IPA, is a little more of India Pale Ale punch (7.4%), but you can't go wrong with any. Flights are still a recommend if you want to feel out the variety. For Hard Seltzer lovers, you've got the Frosty Fresco or Al Fresco. Fruit Snacks Lager is surprisingly epic as is the Brett Michael's Blonde Sour. I do miss some of their more seasonals such as the red lager aka Part-Time Lover but do enjoy all that's on the rotation. You can pop in for events like Friday Karaoke, Tuesday Taproom Trivia or Open Mic Mondays. Book a private event for all style of events. Family and pet friendly until 7pm. This place is right around the corner from me, and I used to shop there from time to time. It has really gone down hill in the past year or two. They have nothing on the shelves anymore, and all of the produce is 1/2 rotten. They used to have a nice butcher / meat counter with fresh salsa and other Mexican favorites, but now it is quite miserable looking. The staff seems to only cater to the cheap booze sales from the local homeless drunks and drug addicts that cash in their cans in the parking lot recycling center. That too has become a mecca for the crime and undesirables congregating for most of the day and even sleeping there at night. I have often seen them smoking crack on the side of Robert's Market and pooping and peeing in the alley next to the recycle center. The staff at Robert's takes no responsibility for the trash in the parking lot or in front of their store, and they are basically predators for the cheap buck made at the expense of the homeless alcoholics, and the their neighborhood in general. I would rather drive for miles to Ralphs to get even the smallest item than offer one more cent of my money to Robert's Market on Manchester. They are HORRIBLE!!! read more

The owner of the liquor store business lacks knowledge of how to run and promote business, or he is just a racist bigot, needs to look at a mirror and come down from the fake cloud he thinks he is on because the instead of growing his business is he just letting consumers the opposite, a fruit vendor was setting up his stand at the corner of the lot literally under the sign by the edge of the sidewalk and instead of allowing the vendor to sale and promote the liquor store at the same time he comes out and literally screams telling the vendor to not set that "F....Shit" of his lot.... idiot the fruit vendor would of help with more customers into the liquor store instead just lets us know what an ignorant person he is....I haven't shopped in there since the last tome I saw rats and rat feces around the shelving floor this place needs to be investigated by health department read more

An amazing selection of fresh quick grab items and a full market! I went to Robert's Market yesterday for some avocados and discovered they have added new food cases and are now offering a variety of daily baked fresh pastries, quick grab items, delicious grilled chicken salads (only 7.99$!), and most notably - a large selection of homemade hummus, salsas, freshly made dips, delicious ceviche (I tasted nearly everything!), and have resumed their butcher shop. I am honestly blown away by the Beet Salsa I purchased yesterday - the earthy combination of beets and pico de gallo is remarkably phenomenal (healthy too) and well balanced. Honestly, this is the best hummus I've had, and am excited the owner might be bringing back his famous garlic dip (think Zankou Chicken, but better!). Don't forget to grab some freshly made pita chips to go with the hummus! read more

I recently shopped at Roberts Market, and I have to say, it's one of the best experiences I've had in a while. The store is clean and well-organized, with a great selection of fresh meat and produce and unique items that you don't find just anywhere. What really made my visit special was the customer service, especially from an employee named Zoe. Zoe was incredibly kind and attentive. She didn't just point me in the right direction; she took the time to listen to what I needed and even offered some great recommendations. You could tell she genuinely cares about each customer, making sure everyone feels valued and heard. Thanks to Zoe and the overall atmosphere, Roberts Market is now one of my go-to spots. I live in the area and grew up here as well, majority of the community are people of color who are also the people being affected the most by the pandemic. With that being said, the store manager and their employees do not wear any protective gear, face mask or PPE. This is alarming considering this store is close to one of the most busiest airports in the country. I've asked in person plenty of times and keep getting ignored, which left me with this option to leave a review on Yelp so that the community can be aware - and the store can change their attitude towards preventing the spread of the virus within the community it serves. Please help stop the spread of this deadly virus. read more

This place is a gem! What I really enjoy every time I shop here is the friendly ambiance & their helpful & professional customer service. Robert's Market is a staple to this community. They provide high quality choice cuts. I highly recommend the tomahawk ribeye steak. I most recently just had their in-house hummus. The garlic hummus was fantastic with their toasted pita chips! I also tried the surki (hope it's spelled correctly?) it's a middle eastern type of bruschetta. Now, I found this to be even tastier & so delightfully fresh! So if your in the neighborhood, do not overlook this place. 5 Stars! read more

I've been coming to this market for about a year now, and I can confidently say it's one of my go-to spots for high-quality food. They've been around for a long time, and it shows in the care and consistency they put into everything--especially their meat products, which I always know I can trust. I also want to give a special shoutout to Patrick--he's there almost every day I come in, and his customer service is truly next level. Friendly, helpful, and always positive. BEST selection of my favorite craft beer and wine and they also have a lot of house old stuff that I can use and it's just a block away and best Prices in town and best liquor in town with a clean environment and a perfect,amazing,and most friendly customer service! This is a great place to go to especially when you're in a crunch and try to cook dinner for your kids and you run out of something. They have a butcher with great quality meat and great prices plus anything else you may need. They also have way more than a regular convenience store or liquor store, so I come here when I need to grab a quick grocery item. I definitely recommend them. read more
