You can find lotería customs cards, metal work, insulated cups, favorite snacks and cold beer. You can also find a trading post where Mr. Rex will assist you finding personal safety gadgets. Also with the cold weather coming up, you can find good price blankets! You need a belt and need to customize it, they do it!

I made a pit stop in San Antonio to check out Traders Village on a Sunday. Why do you ask? For the goats, of course. Traders Village is not a goat sanctuary. It's a massive flea market. Beyond the market, they also have food and a petting zoo. The petting zoo (for a fee) allows you to interact with an assortment of farm animals including goats, donkeys, llamas, chickens, rabbits, and more. Beyond the entrance fee, you can purchase food if you'd like to feed the animals. I'm a fan of goats. They're funny. They hop sideways. I like their energy. Speaking of fees, you have to pay for parking in a large lot to enter which doesn't make much sense. A little nickel and diming but I did enjoy hanging out with the animals. If you're into flea markets, this may be your spot. It's a big one.

Lots of vendors to choose from/wide selections. Everyone is friendly. The items being sold are at a great value. This venue is very clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking for only six dollars. Restrooms were spacious, lots of stalls, fully stocked, and super clean! There are several food and beverage vendors throughout as well. We will definitely return again soon!

Came for the Corn Maize... yes we got some CORN in a cup too. Delicious. This maize was fun, we got lost intentionally haha. The only thing I'd hate to say is I wish they were able to have this in the evening because TX is hottttt in "fall". Overall fairly easy to get to & had a great time.

This review is for the food truck Asian To Go at Trader's Village. The food was fresh and hot, made to order, which is rare nowadays. The staff are amiable and genuinely appreciate your business. I highly recommend the lemonade. It is not too tart and not too sweet. It is very balanced. The sweet tea is good also. My favorite here is the egg rolls. These are some of the best I've had here in SA. The wait for the food was reasonable, given that it was cooked fresh. They have a really good selection of foods to choose from. I can see myself visiting this place often when visiting Trader's Village.

It's not bad place to stroll and wonder why would anyone buy that? The food stands I can't recommend because they are just horrible, some of those people should not be allowed anywhere near food. The Agua Fresca stands are decent and refreshing.

We checked out the Cajun Fest at Trader's Village yesterday for lunch. Semi-decent sized crawfish. Tad bit salty. Love the agua frescas! Live music playing in the background. We'd never been until yesterday. Flea market galore...so many things being sold! Will have to go back when the sunflowers are blooming.

You can find everything here from quinceañera gowns, mineral makeup, Avon and Mary Kay, live birds, pack of socks, to herbal remedies, spiritual incense and candles, skanky outfits and random toys. You can also get your stereo installed in your car or windows tinted on the spot. My couson bought some potted rosemary. The list goes on and on. Come with plenty of cash, reusable bags, and comfortable shoes. Even the most comfortable shoes are no match for this place. You will get tired despite the roofs covering the beating sun. There are plenty of places to sit and rest. There are food stalls for ice cream, snow cones, tacos, etc. There's also a live band of conjunto music set to extremely loud. I go for the mineral makeup (find the lady that sells 8 for $20), my Avon staples (the woman in the wheel chair has the best deals --Anew day/night for $20 each-- and gives you freebies), nail polish ($1 each) and the random stuff you didn't know you needed. We did score some fresh mangoes on this trip. I took $40 and that was enough for the day. It's a mindless fun Sunday distraction and you don't spend an arm and a leg AND you go home with some great deals.

Admission is free before 10am. I'm not sure if that means entry to the market or an admission to your friends that you actually drove out here. Either way it's free. Food booths line the middle corridor as well as the quarter mile lane leading to the market so you can get your weekend fix of a tripa taco and an horchata. If you've been to any flea market you should know what to expect. So why am I spending my time reviewing this flea market? Because I care about each and every one of you, that's why. :) The only thing you need to take away from this review is this: Go later in the day. They open at 10am, but a lot of the shops were still closed or just opening at 11:30am. What follows below is just filler for the Yelp Gods. Several stands had fresh produce - it was like a mini farmer's market. They have plenty of snack stands and beer is 3 bucks. Most of the stands are hotdogs, chicken nuggets, and popcorn, but if you take your time, you'll find two hidden gems with decent tacos, etc. The place is so big, you really have to hunt for them though. Cowboy boots at almost every other booth. Car parts - both new and used. Tools - both new and used. There's a pet shop with birds, bunnies, mice, hamsters, etc. Several shops with new furniture.

It was truly one of the highlights of my trip and I would highly recommend visiting to anyone in the area, and I hope to go again in the future! The parking nearby was a short walk but nothing crazy, and once we got to the Market it was shaded very well and had such a variety of stands both inside and outside of the buildings which I loved. It was a little hot outside so it was nice to be able to rotate between both areas. There was also such a great mix of stores, restaurants, snack stands, and artisans and crafts throughout. We grabbed some aguas frescas to sip on while we explored and they were delicious and a great price for how big they were. We had a big breakfast but it would be nice to try some of the many lunch spots they had throughout the market. The stores had everything but I loved the amount of talavera pottery to choose from and stocked up as much as my suitcase would allow. Prices are super reasonable as well considering these are handmade artisan pieces. I use my tazas everyday and they are the best coffee cups I have ever had. The merchants are super friendly and helpful as well. Everyone was very welcoming and made it a great experience. I hope to be back in the future!

Unfortunately, the vendors' food was underwhelming and expensive. I was coming from California and was excited to compare Mexican street food in Texas, but the options were very bland. Esquites - $12, 5 street tacos - $18, Chicken Gorditas -$11, Agua Fresca -$10 I did enjoy looking inside the markets (don't forget there are 2 different buildings for you to do your shopping).
