The food that is offered is really good. So far I have had the mini donuts, kettle corn, hamburger and some kind of Cajun soup with rice. First thing parking is $5 to park in a field and it apparently fills up really fast so come early. Secondly, this is a giant lot made up of several little stalls and a few large barns. There is a lot to see here. There are some food vendors so that's great but not so great if you're gluten free. Either way, there's a little bit of everything here. Giant planks of wood, animal skulls, clothing, resale items, rocks and gems and more. I was about to leave empty handed until I found some dolls and toy stalls. Prices are negotiable, the vendors will take offers or at least I was able to get some. It did start to get busy around 10:30 despite the rain coming down. I had a fun day.

I had this new listing added, and I'll fix the flea part later. My couple of pictures only represent one twentieth of what's here. I could have spent two hours here. This certainly isn't a "flea" market because there is beautiful furniture in here--many in individual consignment booths; others have permanent set ups. They also conduct auctions, one regular one is the first Thursday of every month; and from time to time, they conduct specialty auctions selling jewelry and other collectibles. They have specific estate auctions too. Come check out this nicely adorned, air conditioned marketplace, where you are free to browse without being harassed or watched; however, staff is here to answer your questions.

What started off as a great day on a hunt for croc charms quickly turned into shock and tears…read more As most of you know by now Gaven loves sports especially The Buffalo Bills. So his excitement was real when he found a store dedicated to just sports. Gaven quickly hopped the curb and made his way inside taking it all in. What started as excitement ended in being discriminated in and kicked out of the store. That man you see told my child he wasn't welcome in is store because he's in a wheelchair. When my fierce mama emotions kicked in and I went back to tell him, I hope he sleeps well at night after making a child cry. He proceeded to tell me he didn't care and it's not like he would fit in any of his clothing. Gaven is distraught as he's never experienced anything like this and especially by an adult. I truly hate that he had to experience this, it doesn't matter how many times you tell him, some ppl are just bad and uneducated. It doesn't make the hurt any less. Moral of the story just be kind and think before you speak.

What a cool 'hidden find' in the Leander area!…read more It's a bit of a misnomer to call this a 'flea market', but that's a minor point to quibble over. Rather, this is a collection of rather eclectic shops selling mostly used or refurbished items. These range from vintage glass and antique furniture all the way to collectible baseball cards. Everyone I spoke to at one of the stores was friendly and sometimes willing to negotiate a price on an item. I look askance at some of the reviews which claim 'I didn't get a deal'. You have access to the internet, after all. Even on your smart phone. You should be able to find out if the vintage item you're looking for hasn't been cheaply reproduced at Hobby Lobby, Cost Plus or Michael's. The facility still seems to be in development, so a couple notes for folks who may visit close to when I did, in September 2017. 1) The parking lot is a very rough gravel one. Drive slowly and walk carefully, there are ankle-turning rocks here if you wear heels. 2) One of the vendors was having serious issues taking credit cards, so having cash on hand might be a good idea. 3) If you check in on Yelp, there's a free drink offer available at the food trailer. However, there's no food trailer yet - just a well-run inside snack bar. They were kind enough to honor the offer for me, but do them a favor and wait until they get a vendor in before trying to use the coupon. In sum, a definite place to visit if the antique hunting bug strikes!

As we walked around there was a jewelry area where we could get a new battery on our watches and if need to clean our silver and very reasonable. As we walked around the majority was used clothing but not even decent to sell so why would you hang it up. Sorry that's just my opinion. Not what I was expecting.
