This brewery offered a hot chocolate item for the Vancouver Hot Chocolate Festival 2025. I visited…read morea few weeks ago and tried a unique hot chocolate item, and I revisited for the new limited item for the festival. #139 Maple Nutty Bliss Hot Chocolate - This decadent treat combines the deep, roasty flavors of maple pecan beer, creamy cashew purée, and the classic warmth of hot cocoa. First, maple pecan beer is reduced to a syrupy sweetness, enhancing the chocolate with nutty, caramelized notes. Then, smooth puréed cashews are stirred in, adding a creamy texture that balances the rich chocolate base. Served with velvety squash purée swirled into a rich traditional vanilla custard in a buttery croissant cup. The hot chocolate's cashew nut puree was very unique. I stirred it well, and it made the drink even creamier. Before stirring, I tasted a bit of the puree, and it was so nutty, flavorful, and had a great texture. The hot chocolate itself wasn't too sweet, with a subtle maple pecan beer flavor. The squash puree into vanilla custard in the croissant cup was delicious. The vanilla custard melted like lava, and the croissant cup was crispy. I hope I can have it again, even though it's a limited item. Service was very friendly and attentive. It is a very popular brewery, and I will revisit to get a beer again.

I've only had beers here so I can't really comment on the food but my friends seem to like it. They rave about the beef brisket and the pulled pork. My choice of beer is usually the Juicy but they do have an interesting variety to choose from. To be honest I'm not sure how the ordering works, sometimes you order at the counter and other times they come to your table. The service is friendly. It's a decent size place and has a cozy atmosphere. There is free street parking out front.....

During a recent visit to Stanley Park the last thing I expected to find was a brewery...but there…read moreit was! I thought it was a mirage at first, but I walked up and touched it so I knew it was real. And it was exactly what we needed after a not insignificant amount of walking around Vancouver (we were touristing) and it was lunch time. Stanley Park Brewing is larger inside than it appears outside. With its outdoor seating and multiple public and private dining rooms its footprint is roughly the size of Rhode Island. (ok, maybe not THAT big...but it is expansive). Stanley Park Brewing is located not far from the entrance to Stanley Park so the views and the surroundings were all very beautiful. A tall clump of trees over here, a some flowering bushes over there...just lush greenery in every direction...and tennis courts. The entire area was clean and well maintained. When we arrived we were told there would be about a 15 (US) minute wait, but that 15 (US) minutes turned into about 5, as we were seated almost immediately at a table adjacent to the bar. The weather was amazing that day (about 72° F) so all the doors and windows were open so there was plenty of fresh air and a nice breeze. Our server arrived with cold water (muchly needed!) and gave us the beer and food menus. Congo and I opted for a flight of beers and the Smokey Island pizza because the maple candied bacon bits, charred pineapple, and jalapeño caught my attention. (Relax, people, it was personal pan pizza size.) For my flight of four I chose: SunSetter Peach Wheat Ale, Waypoint Hazy Pale Ale, Parklandia Hazy IPA, and Noble Pilsner. Each was very good with its own unique tastes and flavour palettes. Our food orders took about 15 minutes to arrive and the food was hot and accurate. The Smokey Island pizza was *Chef's Kiss*, while the SunSetter Peach Wheat Ale from my flight was so good I had to get a pint as well. Our server (Jordan) who was also the bartender. Jordan was knowledgeable about the beers and was able to answer any questions about menu without having to consult someone else. He also suggested the Smokey Island pizza, and for that alone he and I can be good friends. The entire staff was constantly in motion, whether sitting new guests, handling drink refills, cleaning tables, or anything else. Great teamwork all around. What started as a chance visit turned into one of our favorite lunch stops in Vancouver. Congo and I thank you.

We stopped into Stanley Park Brewing Restaurant & Brewpub for a Saturday lunch. Good for a casual…read morelunch, the restaurant was large, airy, lots of natural light, and a clean, modern take on a lodge-like space. It felt relaxed, with a steady mix of parkgoers, small groups, and casual date lunches. Food-wise, I kept it simple with the chowder and a burger. Both were solid across the board without any major highs or lows. The chowder hit that comforting, creamy note you want at lunch, and the burger was satisfying and filling, the kind of plate that does the job after a walk around the park. Service was smooth and friendly throughout. It's a reliable option if you want a sit-down meal without leaving the park. Expect a menu centered on approachable comfort food and house beers.
