always try to support local and love this local eatery & brewery. prefer the patio if it's available. it's pub fare but done well. staff are also pretty nice except for a particular host or manager? not sure but she's a little less than welcoming. but overall, nice local joint that i like for its casual atmosphere, and food. parking can sometimes be a bit of a pain in the evening but worth the walk over :) read more

I have visited this establishment over 10 times. The reason it's one of my favorite spots of for the high quality standard of the food and the friendliness of the staff and servers. Went here for my birthday. I absolutely love the interior! There's several options of how you would want to sit. There's a fully outdoor patio, an enclosed patio with open walls and a roof, and regular inside tables. We sat in the enclosed patio and it was perfect as it was a hot day. It was Canada Day with a lot of people coming in but we still got a table right away and great service. I got a sour and it was very tasty, and we both got the crispy chicken burgers which were very good and filling, and the fries were amazing, perfectly seasoned. Overall had a great time, recommend for a casual meal, or for something like a birthday. Will be back soon. read more

Served with Garlic bread. Today I ordered the same and was sorely disappointed. The soup was barely warm and it came with tasteless focaccia. Lots of gluten free options or substitutions at this place. I got the chicken sandwich on a gluten free bun with fries and it was delicious, great portion size, so I had leftovers. To drink I had the cider on tap which was Sea Cider called cherry lane and it was so good I wanted to bring some home. Thumbs up for this Abbotsford eatery/brewery! Nice, modern, establishment in the Fraser Valley. We stopped in here for the 2nd time now on the way to my Mum's in Mission. We love Trading Post beer. They are known for their delicious Best Coast IPA. I just had the Wild IPA - awesome if you are into a bit of fruity funky IPA. Fun, locally sourced food items menu with stuff such as chicken & waffles, fried chicken sandwich, Ket beef pot roast, & falafel bites. The bites have a nice crunchy quinoa and a vegan dill sauce. I want to make my way thru the menu each time I visit, but I feel like I'll keep going back to Falafel bites! It's pub fare amped up. Also can purchase beer to go in cans or growler fills. Came here last weekend with a group of 10. The service was absolutely horrible. Our server was so incompetent at taking orders, getting orders correct and getting our bills at the end of the night. There were a couple different bills at our table and at least 3 of them had to be redone due to overcharging and putting the wrong items on the wrong bill. The food was ok - nothing worth coming back for. Some plates took 5 mins to come out while others took 30 mins - very inconsistent. Notes for management: put the effort into training your servers correctly. If your server can't handle a table of 10, then get 2 people on board. And mandatory 18% gratuity for our table size?! Absolutely ridiculous for the service that we recieved (or lack thereof). Cherry on top: if you're going to distinguish your guests by physical attributes, AT LEAST don't have the notes on your guests' bills. read more

Don't ever get sick from their food! They will do nothing. Been a customer and promotor of this place since day one Abbotsford location. Ask any of my friends. Look up any of my previous tags to this place. Spend easily $200-$400 a month regularly. I got unquestionably sick from a meal from this place. They told me their protocol was "take a stool sample to my doctor" only then they will take my issue seriously or believe it happened. While that makes sense legally it does nothing to rectify a bad experience a guest has and essentially questions the guest in a way Starbucks never would if your drink was made wrong. Starbucks cares more and does more to ensure customers' experience remains positive. Over $20 they lost a loyal, supportive and regular customer. Do not recommend. read more

We went out for dinner with friends to share some food and drinks. I am sadly not a huge fan of beer but I knew that they do have a selection of cocktails and also ciders. We ordered a variety of sandwiches including the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, the TB Burger, and also I had the Vegan BBQ Sandwich. We all really enjoyed our sandwich's, I thought that the vegan BBQ sandwich was very flavourful not only because it was vegan but because it smelled amazing. It was a great balance of bun to filling ration. We all chose to try out their fries, and they were nice and golden brown with a nice crispness to them. Sadly in my taste they just happened to bE a little on the salty side. Our waitress was very pleasant, but she didn't happen to do a quality check. And sadly that didn't give me the opportunity to mention I didn't love the cider (raspberry), and I was hoping for get a glass of the apple ((that I know I really enjoy)). But due to that there was no opportunity, and the waitress wasn't pleased when I mentioned I didn't like it at the end of the evening. Also, on Tuesdays that have amazing live performances! If you'd like to listen I recommend sitting inside. If you'd prefer to have a conversation with your part I recommend sitting in the heated and covered patio. read more

beautiful building and good service but the food was meh. Avoid the tacos - the shells fall apart into pieces the size of your thumb. Appies are no big deal - we had the pretzel which was ok, but the falafel was pretty tasteless, although the garlic dill dipping sauce was good. the toffee cake dessert was on the dry side. Was totally blown away by their burgers! Their creations are interesting and flavorful. I am a burger fan and thought I have tried every possible burger topping combination but when i took my 1st bite into the Abby Burger it was a party in my mouth. You get sweet from the onion jam, saltiness from the brie cheese and a beefy flavour from the patty. read more

The flight of beers was pretty good. I thought the price was reasonable for it. Everything else was okay. The service was really poor unfortunately. The server did not bring our items on time (45 mins plus). They charged us a mandatory 18% for a group of 10 and only had one server attending to the table and was not able to get all the orders correctly and in a timely manner. This a cool place!!! The staff was great and the food was delicious!! I ordered the Fried chicken sandwich and had them toss it in Nashville Hot sauce, and It was amazing! It really should be on the menu like this. The Caesar was great also! Beer was on point in both selection and quality, I really enjoyed their IPA. They also had a cocktail called the snow day that was not what I expected in the best way! Very good!!!! It's nice to find brewery/restaurants that put this much effort in. It has a nice vibe and the brews are very good, it's a diamond in the rough of the mid Fraser valley. The decor and atmosphere is urban chic with some nice industrial touches, and the food is not bad from what I have tried. My one complaint is that it's expensive for what you get, and I put that down to the high rent and the lack of competition, however it is overpriced, especially the brews which could be more competitive a dollar or two less. read more

We took my elderly parents here on a Friday evening as it is very close to where they live. We had a party of six . I was so impressed. It has a very comfortable atmosphere , not too loud and very attentive service. My parents are in their 90's and they thoroughly enjoyed their experience. The food was very good, I would have given a 5 star but they did mess up my Dads order but they went out of their way to fix it as fast as possible. I took her recommendation to try the Fried Chicken Sandwich and the parm fries. (SO GOOD!) I also had a flight of beers and tried the rye amber, saison, cranberry and breakfast stout. They have a total of 13 beers on tap including guest taps from other BC breweries. My wife had the Farmers Falafel bowl. A beautifully presented option for vegetarians. She really liked it. I have been to the Trading Post restaurant located in Fort Langley in the past. I was very surprised that Trading Post restaurant opened up in Abbotsford (considering that there are several other breweries in Abbotsford) The location is a bit of a surprise near residential condos and townhouses, across from a church. Parking-there isn't enough of it, maybe just buy a condo nearby and walk over. The interior is warm and inviting. There is two floors and a heated patio. I arrived on a busy night. My party and I were quoted a 30min wait time. The Eatery will inform you when your table is ready by texting you. Considering that there is no business nearby to go to and people just wait in the lobby, I see no need for that service. The bathrooms are adjacent to the front doors. They are individual bathrooms-one issue I noticed was that the doors do not have a occupied or unoccupied indicator on the door. You must try each door till one is unlocks. I was seated earlier than the quoted 30 minutes which was nice. My party and I were seated on the main floor next to a floor-to-ceiling window. The seats were comfortable. Our server promptly arrived, took our orders and attend to us regularly throughout the night. I ordered the red roof apple cider and the fried chicken sandwich with yam fries. Others at my table ordered the mushroom soup and falafel bowl. The cider was crisp and sweet. The chicken on the fried chicken sandwich was well seasoned and moist. My only complaint is, I wish the sandwich had a garlic pickle instead of a butter based pickle. The yam fries appeared to be fresh and fried correctly- the dipping sauce was delicious. The falafel bowl was presented well. The falafels were cooked well-crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. Be forewarned, a cup of soup is literally in a teacup not a giant starbucks-sized coffee mug. Overall, a great new restaurant that adds to the Abbotsford food scene. read more

Went here for my birthday. Firstly, when we called to make a reservation, they said they dont take reservations. For 8 people you really should. So of course we show up and they had to shuffle the tables around to make room for us and it was kind of busy, so that doesn't work out too well. Service was great to start, then near the end it was almost non-existent, although our server was very polite and friendly. Our group was happy with the food. It was quick and tasted quite good. I personally was dealing with a bit of a stomach issue, so I just order soup and salad, but could only eat the salad. When they cleared up the table I asked for the soup to go, and they threw it away instead. When I asked the server for my soup she said it was in the back, she just forgot to bring it out and she would get it. Ya, she got me new soup because she clearly threw it away (suddenly hot again and all the bread that went with it was missing). All in all I would try it again, but as first impressions go, not very impressive. read more
