I have visited this establishment over 10 times. The reason it's one of my favorite spots of for the high quality standard of the food and the friendliness of the staff and servers. The bison tacos, falafel bites, prawn tacos and the burgers are my go tos! I look forward to my next visit to any of the TP locations!

Gluten free chicken sandwich with fries and Sea Cider cherry lane. Yummy

Lots of gluten free options or substitutions at this place. I got the chicken sandwich on a gluten free bun with fries and it was delicious, great portion size, so I had leftovers. To drink I had the cider on tap which was Sea Cider called cherry lane and it was so good I wanted to bring some home. Unfortunately they don't sell it here, but I was told you can buy it at the liquor store. Next time you're in Abbotsford, pop in for some yummy food at the Trading Post Eatery.

Got the berries and bannock dessert. It was pretty tasty. A good amount of the berries. The bannock seemed to be overcooked a bit, but overall I did enjoy it.

Thumbs up for this Abbotsford eatery/brewery! Nice, modern, establishment in the Fraser Valley. We stopped in here for the 2nd time now on the way to my Mum's in Mission. We love Trading Post beer. They are known for their delicious Best Coast IPA. I just had the Wild IPA - awesome if you are into a bit of fruity funky IPA. Fun, locally sourced food items menu with stuff such as chicken & waffles, fried chicken sandwich, Ket beef pot roast, & falafel bites. The bites have a nice crunchy quinoa and a vegan dill sauce. I want to make my way thru the menu each time I visit, but I feel like I'll keep going back to Falafel bites! It's pub fare amped up. Also can purchase beer to go in cans or growler fills. Happy Hour 2-5 or 9- close M-F. Stop in, you won't be disappointed. Nice staff & bar manager too!

Came here last weekend with a group of 10. The service was absolutely horrible. Our server was so incompetent at taking orders, getting orders correct and getting our bills at the end of the night. There were a couple different bills at our table and at least 3 of them had to be redone due to overcharging and putting the wrong items on the wrong bill. The food was ok - nothing worth coming back for. Some plates took 5 mins to come out while others took 30 mins - very inconsistent. Notes for management: put the effort into training your servers correctly. If your server can't handle a table of 10, then get 2 people on board. And mandatory 18% gratuity for our table size?! Absolutely ridiculous for the service that we recieved (or lack thereof). Cherry on top: if you're going to distinguish your guests by physical attributes, AT LEAST don't have the notes on your guests' bills.

This establishment will see us again for sure! When we walked in they said they didn't have any tables available due to a large group reservation. Thankfully the owner came out of the kitchen and said the group had changed to tomorrow, lucky for us and the other couple that walked in right after us. All of us were newbies (they said they would be back too). The service was very good, the beer excellent, the onion rings and waffle fries also excellent, but the star for sure is the burger. I had the BBQ Bacon burger which features an oversized burger patty, along with the onion rings as a side. The char on the meat is fantastic, and the taste amazing. Maybe a little less bbq sauce, but that's a personal thing. The lively K had the single cheeseburger which was a good size for her and the waffle fries. We both ate half our burgers and got a to go box so we could finish the rings and fries. I've read the burger is as good the next day, so we'll see how that works. The Pac-Man console is the ultimate touch. Great place, highly recommended! Oh. The burgers were good cold the next day right out of the cooler as we were road tripping. Ate the half's at the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal!

Knock a star off. The one I liked the most was the Dope sour cherry. Not a bad place to visit, but also not worth a special trip out.

The inside looks a bit ghetto, but the building is a warehouse after all. Staff were friendly. To be honest, I didn't really like the beer too much here. Most of them were too sour for my taste. Some may really like this though. The thing that stuck out here is that fresh cans of beer can be purchased. By fresh I mean they fill an open can and seal it on the spot with this (German) vintage canning machine. Definitely brings up the street cred here. Very cool to watch. The cans themselves are a bit pricey though. Lastly, they have free popcorn to go with the beer. Tasty.

We felt like we were really imposing on her. When we asked to see a menu. She brought menus over, slapped them on the table without any comment and left us sitting for a good 15 minutes before she came back to take our order. I didn't get her name but she had shoulder length black hair. I think she was nearing the end of her shift because service from another waitress improved when our food was brought out and we paid the bill. The food is considerably better than your standard pub food. I had the prime rib special with baked potato. I was pleasantly surprised that it was cooked exactly as I had requested - medium rare. It came with au jus and baked potato and was exceptional value for just under $12.00. My husband had a salad and chicken wings. The wings were very tasty, very moist and they were nice and plump, not the shrivelled up wings that many pubs seem to serve. However, when my husband asked if he could mix his wings and have 2 different kinds our initial waitress rudely told him this was not possible. Such an imposition! I don't know why this was such an impossible task as it has never been an issue before when we dine out. My husband decided not to make an issue out of it. It's a good thing the food was good. We would definitely return. I would just hope we could avoid our original rude waitress.

I am not going to talk about the delicious food here, because that part is already well understood…read more Instead, I want to highlight a few things that, as diners, we often take for granted and sometimes overlook. Consistency I have been coming here randomly about six times since they opened, and that consistency is impressive. Portions are steady, service feels genuine, and every dish arriving at the table shows care. Nothing pretentious, just honest food that makes you smile and feel comfortable. Creativity, done right There is a clear respect for classic dishes, and that is not easy to pull off. The kitchen hits the right notes without overcomplicating things. The cioppino stood out in particular, a humble yet elegant seafood broth I have only ever tried in San Francisco, the birthplace of the dish. The resemblance was remarkable, and the quality of the ingredients was outstanding. I felt the same attention in the chowder and even in the cocktails, where every spice and component seems thoughtfully chosen to deliver a specific experience. Care and attention to detail This one is easy to notice. The owner is present, engaged, and clearly invested. You can tell when someone genuinely cares and takes pride in what they are doing, without big fuss or trying to be something they are not. That care carries through the room, the bar, and the overall atmosphere. Comfortable, polished, and welcoming. Point of improvement One small area where the experience could be elevated even further is service etiquette. Simple refinements, such as how drinks are poured or placed on the table, could enhance the customer experience and better match the level of care coming from the kitchen. These are small, easy-to-train details, but they make a noticeable difference. Overall, this is a hidden gem in Abbotsford that deserves to be discovered. A place that earns your trust quietly and keeps you coming back for all the right reasons.

Lynden now has a few hoppy outposts, including a second Overflow location on the west side. Guess I'll add that one to my list, too! This particular Sunday, we were looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a quiet beer and play a game of cribbage. I was excited to see Overflow was open (back in "the day" most Lynden businesses were closed on Sundays). We grabbed a couple of pints (just $5 ea!) and sat down for our game. The service was friendly, the place was uncrowded, and it was hard not to order a second pint before the long drive home to the Ham. Overflow, congrats on 10 years in Lynden! It's great to see you're still thriving, still serving up some great beer choices, and still supporting clean water initiatives. Cheers!
