My contact went on a long vacation which I don't have a problem with but her backup would not return my call or my contractor's calls. The tile was delivered broken after taking a month to get here so they had to order more. ***SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE THAT APPRECIATES YOUR BUSINESS*** Don't be captivated by the tile selection in this store. Yes, they do have beautiful options, but once they get your money you will be forgotten about and receive ZERO customer service. I was working on a kitchen remodel and the designers helped me to find some accent tile as well as trim pieces to match the statement tile I purchased from Floor & Décor. THAT'S WHEN MY GOOD EXPERIENCE ENDS! My tile did not arrive in the window of time I was given. I wasn't even notified. I called in to check the delivery status and low and behold, my tile had been received, but no one had cared enough to notify me. While picking up my tile I discover the wrong trim pieces were received. (If you're thinking this is no big deal, please read more reviews and you will see that this is a common error TinT has been making for years, yet they have done nothing to prevent it from happening. Also found out the same thing happened to my neighbor.) After days of calling and emailing the Store Manager, I finally received an email back from her stating my tile is estimated to be received in 9 days. You would think that I was in good hands now that I am dealing with the Store Manager, but you would be wrong. 9 days came and went and still no word from TinT. After waiting an additional 5 days I asked for an update and AGAIN my tile was sitting there, but NO ONE cared enough to notify me. I brought my dissatisfaction with their service to my designers attention and her response was "If we had sku numbers and tracking then that would be great, but we don't". Really?!? They caused me to delay my tile installer 3 times due to their continued carelessness and this is their response? To say I am disappointed would be an understatement. This is a high end store where customers are paying premium prices, so to receive this low level of customer service blows my mind. I spent ¼ of the price at Floor & Décor and received 1000% better service. PLEASE take your hard earned money to a store that values their customers!!! read more

I went in to find tile for a remodel, found a sample I liked, asked for at least a picture of it installed before I purchased and never received anything. I am doing a bathroom remodel and selected my contractor. He gave a list of some recommended tile companies that he works with, and Traditions in Tile was on the list. I visited Traditions in Tile to select the tile for my remodel job. They are located at the north end of Alpharetta, I believe in Forsyth County, just off the 400 at the McFarland Parkway exit. They have Saturday hours from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, which is nice for people who work regular hours and are not near Alpharetta. Another nice feature is that they recommend appointments. I called in Saturday morning and didn't have a problem setting up an appointment for 2:30 Saturday afternoon. The showroom is very large with a huge selection. It's very nicely laid out and well decorated. They do not rush you and let you take time to examine different types of tile. I selected about eight off their shelves and they provided me with prices for each. What's also nice is that they have installed different types of tiles in their flooring so you can see examples of the tiles as they would look if they were installed. It's nice to go to a place like this where you can get some personalized attention and not be rushed to make a decision. They work directly with contractors, so I made my selection and they sent it over to the contractor. The contractor will pick up the order and I'll do the payment through him. The prices seemed reasonable and I don't think they were much different from what you would see at big box stores. I would definitely recommend trying this place if you are doing a remodel job and want good quality tiles and a big variety to select from. It's worth the drive out to the far north end of metro Atlanta. read more

I DON'T ASK FOR MUCH, BUT I JUST SO APPRECIATE PEOPLE DOING THEIR JOB WELL! I really take issue with people who have no people skills but are put in positions that deal directly with the public. When you allow unprofessional people to represent your company, you negatively impact your business. Some businesses just don't understand this simple concept but "Traditions in Tile" obviously does. When I walked into the showroom I was immediately greeted by the receptionist who had a very sweet demeanor. I was allowed to freely browse and take photos. I really appreciated this because I really just needed to get the lay of the land and check their inventory. They had a large inventory of products and everything was nicely displayed for easy access. After wandering around a while, I realized that I would need to come back a couple of times because there is just so much to see and consider. They have a great selection of neutrals for walls and floors. After a while it all starts to run together so I needed to just pull back, talk to my husband and revisit the shop. This was a very nice shop that felt warm and intimate. It had a nice open table where you could sit and take notes or closely examine some of the products. I look forward to coming back because my visit here was very peaceful and I left feeling that this is a place where I can start to bring things into focus. The receptionist was very helpful and encouraging, letting me know that I can stop by at anytime to browse, reassuring me that this it is standard to make three visits while deciding, providing specific information about the design process and letting me know that their design services are free. Imagine setting a bomb off in your bathroom and then trying to put the pieces back together again. That's how I feel because I am literally replacing everything except the ceiling. It is daunting and I could definitely use some direction. I will definitely be returning (with hubby in tow), once I have narrowed my other selections so that I can begin to create a cohesive picture. I am so grateful that this place is not only conveniently located (close to me), but also opens at 8am unlike similar businesses. Traditions in Tile is located on Trotter's Parkway which is opposite the Racetrack just west of 400. As you are driving along, you will think that you are lost but you are not, there is actually life at the end of the road. The office is on the right and you will see a sign that says "Showroom". If you just want to browse, you will be fine otherwise you will want to make an appointment if you wish to meet with one of their designers. ***We eventually met with Karin (Car-in) to select flooring options. She spent a great deal of time assisting us and was very patient and helpful We took a few samples home, but nothing worked in our space. So, we decided that we just needed a larger inventory from which to choose and were not able to continue with Traditions. Tile selection was great and we found just what we were looking for. After receiving our tile later than anticipated, we discovered the wrong color tile edge piece was received, which disrupted the construction schedule as we had to push back the tile install. We were promised we would receive the replacement tile shipment first day of the following week, however that never happened, nor was there any follow-up to assure we received our order that they had messed up. I emailed and called Jennifer first thing in the morning, concerned that our tiler was coming and the package was scheduled for delivery seemingly late in the day today, which is too late!! We asked who their local distributor is since we knew they purchased the item locally, hoping we could drive there to purchase it and fix the problem. They refused to tell us the store name despite knowing our tile guy is booked out months in advance. They didn't offer to provide this service themselves despite knowing we'd now have to delay our kitchen completion for weeks. The email reply I received literally said "Yikes, here is the tracking number" followed by a UPS tracking number I already had. They never followed up and we still haven't received the tile. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. The lack of urgency to fix their mistake and lack of follow up/customer service is not what I expect from a high-end tile store. We have renovated our Kitchen and Bathrooms so we have been to a lot of tile stores. Traditions in Tile was the best of all of them. They have a nice showroom and they take time to really work with you to design your room. They have a ton of choices and are reasonably priced. read more
