In the meantime, we ordered food, which we were able to order and pay using our phones. The food was then delivered to us from the restaurant upstairs. Once it was our turn for Axe Throwing, the employee explained the rules and for four people we had two lanes. My kiddos of varying ages all had so much fun. Afterward, the employee offered to take pictures of us, which I appreciated. We had a great experience and found them on Groupon, so we will eventually be going again and I can't wait!

while we were here, we did both the mini golf and the escape room. we stayed in portland for only 5…read moredays and ended up spending two of our evenings here. the mini golf was really well decorated and fun. the staff cleaned our golf clubs before giving them to us (we didnt ask) which made me feel a lot better about how many people have probably touched them. the staff was so friendly every time we talked to one of them and were generally just pleasant to talk to. i feel like i could have made friends with any of them. the escape room was a lot of fun with puzzles that were tricky but not too difficult. we didn't end up finishing it, but we got very close. i would recommend doing this with more than two people. i do have to mention that there are a lot of sudden noises and there are some parts of the room that were a bit scary- not scared for my life but definitely startled. they didn't warn about these but they were very cautious about making sure we were okay with flashing lights and small confined spaces. i wouldnt bring anyone younger than 13 to this room. overall a wonderful experience and a great place to spend an evening (or two)

My personal negative experience has to do with memberships. So I stepped aside, giving up my place on a long line, went online and quickly purchased a membership. What I didn't realize was that I purchased an additional two memberships that I had been considering purchasing months - maybe even a year - earlier. Apparently they were still sitting in my cart. If you spent any time on their website you would see why this wasn't easy to see or know at the time. As soon as I pressed purchase, that's when I saw that I had purchased three memberships. I immediately told the young lady behind the front counter, and she told me there was nothing she could do, other than have me put my information on a sheet she handed me - she told me that's how cancelations are done. The company refused to cancel my accidental purchases. They told me the price is for unlimited visits and they can't offer that without locking people into a six month contract. I totally understand and agree - except in this situation it was quite clear that I had purchased memberships I didn't mean to purchase and I had asked for help within minutes and there was nobody to help me. Very disappointing and very expensive lesson. I absolutely do not recommend this business.
