The menu focuses on shareables and handhelds with a distinct appreciation for burgers. The poutine and Brussels sprouts looked fun on paper, but they both took a backseat to the Ripple Burger with Boursin cheese and bourbon bacon peach jam. The amount of overall alcohol that this relatively small bar offers is impressive. But they only have about 5 beers on tap at a given time. read more

When you think of brewery, you don't think of food but this place had a good selection. I ordered the smash burger with Gouda cheese. The sauce on top really carried the burger to the next level. I'd definitely order again. The fries also were homemade with salt and pepper. They reminded me or potato chips but soft. Very good. Just know if you visit in the summer you're going to be hot in there! They have an a/c but you can only feel it if you are sitting right in front of it. read more

We stopped in on a busy Saturday night. They had music and it was pretty busy. As we ordered our food, the relay of things they were out of changed our order. I enjoyed the blueberry sour beer while my hubby found it a bit too sour. He wanted the Pride of Cucamonga, but I had to switch it to a Smokestack Lightening due to ingredients. I had the Ship of Fools. The sandwiches were good and the fries were hot and crispy. We enjoyed the Grateful Dead song themes in the menu and will definitely be back to groove here and sample more. I give 4 stars due to being out of menu items, but also understand they were pretty busy and sometimes it's hard to predict a crowd. read more

Little brewery in the middle of Yellow Springs. They have a limited tap selection... but their beers are pretty good....they have a honey brown ale called Bearanoia. Pretty good. Stopped in to grab some food before leaving Yellow Springs. It was a hot day, and the only seating was an outside sort of tent covered area, but there were fans and it was tolerable enough. There was outdoor music going on but we definitely did not go check it out, though it felt like it was part of the vibe of the place, very college town, very artsy. There was local art on the walls. The service was a little bit slow, but it seemed like that was because we'd arrived at the tail end of a rush, and that was okay as we weren't in a hurry. I wasn't overly impressed with the beer selection, but it wasn't bad. The food was really good though! Would not mind going back on a cooler day to enjoy it more. read more

We always stop here when in town. They have multiple beers on tap as well as mixed drinks and Bourbon. You can also order food here which is fantastic. We are big fans of the tacos and the quesdilla. This brewery is ok. The bar part is very narrow but there's another room attached with tables and benches. There's a taco window inside as well and it seems that most of the business is for the that window. My husband ordered a couple of beers - the Oktoberfest and the Welcome Home. He enjoyed both of them. I ordered the house Old Fashioned. I was happy to hear that it's the bartender's favorite drink since it would likely be prepared well. It was and it was awesome! read more

Trail Town Brewing was ok. My partner and I stopped here last night as part of the Dayton Brew pass. It's a cute small bar that seemed full of locals on a Friday night. Unfortunately, we waited an extraordinary long time to get a brew that really wasn't that great. I get serving your local regulars first but not even being greeted was tough. As for the beer, I had the Hazy Helen. It's an unfiltered hazy IPA that's bitter without the complex flavor to go along with such bitterness. It kind of fell flat for me, especially when compared to other tremendous breweries in the area. I would recommend trying the Trail Town Brewery. They obviously get fairly good reviews. It just wasn't my type. read more

Fun brewery stop while walking the shops in Yellow Springs. They only had 4 of their own beers on tap and a few others to offer. All the taps seemed to be popular. I did a flight of just the home beers- and they are okay. One tap was a Margarita- when watching the bartender serve a Margarita she added some soda water on top- I would have preferred that on my flight because the pour was tough to swallow! Offering a local Mexican restaurant to serve in house was a blessing! The trio- guacamole, salsa and cheese were all fresh made!! Delicious. read more

We visit every time we are in Yellow Springs. They have a range of beers and good service. We miss the taco window (which went exclusively to their food truck) but enjoyed the new menu! I've been here a few times on visits to Yellow Springs. For me, the big draw here is Miguel's tacos. They serve a variety of Ohio beers on draft, and a few wines and ciders. There is a small bar area inside and a nice enclosed patio/dining area as well as an outdoor patio with live music. All of the tables are picnic tables for about 6 people, so I feel a little guilty taking up one for just me, but if it isn't busy, I'll stick around. I'm not a regular brewery visitor because I don't like beer, so was quite surprised to learn that they couldn't serve cider, wine, or mixed drinks on Sunday. It's some old Ohio law, and the bartender told me it was based on ABV %, but the "beer" I ended up ordering was a higher ABV content than the cider they weren't able to serve. Like I said, I'm not a brewery regular, but I know I've purchased wine and margaritas on Sunday before, so I wasn't sure what to make of this. Several other people were also confused by this odd rule. read more

Not just my opinion, I have met and talked to dozens of people who share my feelings of this place. The beer here is not good, in some cases its down right nasty, and the prices are ridiculous. My girlfriend and I gave this place 2 separate chances and tried 4 beers each (8 different total) and the last 2 we left on the table and walked out. So awful we couldn't stand to drink them. We love going places and exploring craft beers, but this isn't on the good list Lol. Oddly enough we overheard people at the Kroger bar in Fairborn saying thier experience was much the same. This nasty beer is pretty unpopular with many people. The staff doesn't even smile or give a shit , they are like robots trying to get you away from the counter. Sad because this building is a nice setup and a cozy location. We did notice the majority of patrons weren't drinking but actually just hanging out or on thier phones while occupying seats. We actually had a much better experience at the whiskey bar next door. The bar tender there greated us and was super friendly, even talked us through the products before serving us. read more

They are a separate business from Miguel's tacos. You can sample different beers from different breweries and create a flight. They were out of the hazy IPA but went with another one and it was good, just not from TTB. The marg on draft pairs well with Miguel's! read more

Awesome local Brewery! We were in Yellow Springs this past weekend and decided to stop in so glad we did . It's a small brewery but worth going . We had bearanoia - a honey beer which is by far a favorite craft beer ! Shout out to the blueberry sour as well. The staff is so nice! The second day we went was during the street festival and even with how busy it was the staff did an excellent job with service and making each person feel welcome! Miguel's shares the building and has very good Mexican food. The service was great as well as the food. Don't miss this stop if your in or near YellowSprings. read more

My wife and I stopped in early on Sunday for our first visit to Trail Town. Honestly, I love the place. Great beer, great staff, nice little place. Some reviews I have read seem like the folks have never been in a small brewery before. We loved the vibe! We stayed for a while, I had the 'Welcome Home IPA', she got a flight...we both enjoyed the beer. We left to do some poking around in the shops, then went back to Trail Town for some of Miguel's delicious queso and their Tacos. Trail Town is now on our permanent stop list whenever we are in the area. read more

Definitely not the cleanest Bar/Brewery I've seen. If you want friendlier staff go before 3-4pm. Bathrooms, just horrendous btw guys tbh it was so disgusting I had to clean it before I used it either way your standing in someone's urine. For what they charge for drinks it kills me that I don't like the environment. read more
