We ran into an unexpected wiring issue with the camper we had just purchased and decided to see if they could point us in the right direction. The sales associate in the parts department was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. She went above and beyond by going back to the service department to ask for assistance, and one of their technicians came out to help us troubleshoot the issue. Everyone we dealt with was honest, knowledgeable, and genuinely wanted to help, even though we weren't customers who had purchased from them. That kind of customer service is hard to find. My overall experience was a mix of good and bad, but one employee went so above and beyond that it mostly made up for the bad. I ordered brakes online through TS to be delivered to the Wheatridge store. My wife happened to be in the area one day so she picked them up for me. After doing the brake job, it turned out I didn't need the parts I purchased so I called the Wheatridge store and they told me to bring them back in for a refund. Even though it was a long drive to get there, it was fine because I also needed to pick up some shower parts that they helped me order direct from the manufacturer. When I arrived, with a heavy set of brakes to return, the man at the parts counter informed me that I can't return those parts through them and I'd have to initiate that online since that is how I paid for them. Fair enough, but his tone and lack of apology for his store telling me to bring them back quickly irritated me. I picked up the other parts I ordered and left feeling like customer service in this Country is dead. When I got home, I discovered that the other parts they ordered me were incorrect, which was a problem as we were about to leave on a 3-week trip and my shower was broken. Before I called them back to correct the problem, I went online to initiate a refund for the brakes. The problem was that there was no way to do that on the website so I had to wait two days to call the national office. After I got through to them and filed a request to return them, I heard nothing back from them. This is where the stored got better. I called the Wheatridge store about my shower parts and, after actually appologizing for the inconvenience, they worked hard to get me the proper shower parts quick enough so that I got them installed before our trip. I mentioned to the parts-counter rep that the weekend guy was a very rude man and that I requested a return of my brakes but hadn't heard anything from the national office about next steps. She must have up-lined my concerns because I then got a call from a gentleman named Billy who was amazing. He took control of all of the issues and definitely went beyond the scope of his job to help make me a satisfied customer. He was a great communicator, understood the situation was mishandled, and clearly knew what he was talking about. Beyond that, he delivered the replacement parts for my shower to my house and picked up the brakes so that I didn't need to deal with the stalled return process anymore. Whatever that man's position is with the store, he needs to be promoted. People like Billy are what used to make this Country great, and now they are a rarity. read more

I purchased a 2024 single axle trailer the day before I left for Florida. When I got to my destination , I noticed that that the tire tread was completely gone on the inside of both tires showing steel. Thought no big deal, bought new tires in Florida and would get it fixed back in Colorado when I go get the rest of my belongings in June. Wheatridge , where I bought it , first said it wasn't their problem then after I finally got to a manager , he said it would be mid July before they would do anything. I said that will not work as I need to be back in Florida for my job. They sent me to the dealer in Erie, There I ran into a dead end. They admitted the axle was bent but they do not warranty that , it's a Dexter problem. After a week, Dexter wanted a number off the axle and it could be another 2 to 3 weeks before they could send it out unless I WOULD pay for quicker arrival. Again, that's not going to work. TS said it's Dexter's issue, Dexter said it's Haulmark's for painting over the axle # meanwhile I get a $9,000.00 ( cash ) trailer that is a piece of junk. DO NOT BUY FROM TRAILOR SOURCE as they do nothing but give you the run around to get out of taking care of a major , unsafe product that they sold and then wiped their hands and say it's not their problem. Extremely Poor Service and Workmanship I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Trailer Source in Wheat Ridge, CO. I brought my trailer to them for warranty repairs, and the whole process has been a nightmare. Here are the main problems I encountered: 1. Poor Workmanship: The repairs performed on my trailer were shoddy at best. The work was sloppy, and it was clear that no attention to detail was given. I ended up having to fix some of the issues myself after getting the trailer back. 2. Damage to Trailer: To make matters worse, my trailer was returned to me with additional damage that wasn't there when I dropped it off. It's unacceptable for a repair shop to cause further damage to a customer's property. 3. Extended Delays: Perhaps the most frustrating aspect of my experience was the excessive amount of time it took for Trailer Source to work on my trailer. They kept my trailer for a whole year without making any progress on the repairs. Throughout this period, I received nothing but excuses and promises that were never fulfilled. I also had to call each time to get an update on my warranty work being done, they could not even keep me informed of progress. 4. Once I was contacted and told it was completed and when I went to pick it up they had the slide half out and sideways. When I said I could not take the trailer as is and drive down the road they said it is because the slide needs to be repaired (Slide operation was the main warranty item from the beginning). 5. Not all warranty work was completed and speaking to management they stated that my trailer was no longer under warranty (They have had the trailer since six months after my purchase of the trailer for warranty work to be done) and they are done working on the trailer and told me to come get it and all the damage was because I should have never left it there so long. How is this the customer's fault that they cannot run a legitimate business? 6. One of the excuses I was given was that they were having employee issues and major personnel turnover. After getting my camp trailer back I found that someone stole my cell signal booster. I understand that delays and unexpected issues can occur in any business, but the lack of communication and accountability from Trailer Source was unacceptable. They consistently failed to update me on the status of my trailer or provide any reasonable explanations for the delays. I strongly advise against using Wheat Ridge Trailer Source for any trailer repairs or services. Their poor workmanship, damage to my trailer, theft of personal property, and complete lack of professionalism have left me deeply dissatisfied. I regret ever entrusting my trailer to their care. read more

Do not mistake this business for Lazy Days, next door. Trailer Source has the best, most accommodating staff I have met in any type business. My bro from AZ was having a problem with his 5th wheel when he arrived on a Friday afternoon here in Fort Collins. We needed a rim and tire for his 5th wheel. Nobody had what we needed after calling around. By chance we called Trailer Source around 5 pm, and a Sophie answered, and said she had what we needed, and would be open till 6pm. We raced down I25, but the traffic was slow. We arrived at 6:05, and store was closed. A staff member was still around, called Sophie and receive permission to sell the rim they had after hours. Saturday morning, the rim was not right size, so we returned and Sophie was outside polishing a travel trailer that was just sold. She helped us exchange the rim and answered a ton of question we had about rv's. She is very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this business. read more

We bought a new trailer last year. Had issues, so we called the service dept in October. The earliest they could get my trailer in for repairs was Dec 5th, so we took it on on Dec 5th. My trailer has now been sitting on their lot for OVER 6 MONTHS! With NO REPAIRS done! It's all covered under warranty, so I don't understand what the problem is??? Do not buy from these people, once they get you're money, you're on your own. Customer service is ZERO! I do not recommend at all. I've even tried going through the salesman, who, to date, will not return my voicemails or emails. POOR, POOR service. Never again will these people get a cent of my money! read more

We bought our camper from TS and had a decent experience. But unfortunately things changed when it needed serviced. We had a few items that needed looked at so we dropped it off for inspection. We received a call stating the parts were on order and were asked to pick it up until they arrived. No problem. Several weeks later we received a call saying the parts were in. We made an appointment and dropped it off. A couple weeks later we received a call saying it was finished. When we picked it up we were told that some of the parts were still on order. We were called a month or so later to schedule an appointment to have the rest of the work completed. We dropped it off with no issues. After not hearing anything for a couple of weeks I called to see how things were progressing. The answer I received was "why did you drop it off? Your parts aren't here". I reminded them that they called me. I went to pick it up and began asking questions about when they felt the work would be completed since over half the year had passed with no resolutions. I was given a hand full of paperwork by Bobby and told to call the manufacturer myself. Keep in mind I was never once belligerent and never raised my voice. I did call the manufacturer and they did see the notes from TS. They tried calling Bobby and was completely ghosted, as was I. The manufacturer allowed me to take it to Lazydays where they covered the repairs under warranty (even though TS had allowed it to expire) and they did a fantastic job! I know where I'm buying my next one and it's not at TS!! They will get the same response they gave me. read more

High expectations, bitter lows and disappointments. I purchased a trailer from a private party. It was originally purchased from these guys as indicated by the stickers, so in need of some improvements, I sought them out. I incidentally turned into the new sales lot instead of parts, and while pulling the trailer was greeted by a scowl by a salesman. Seeing my struggle with finding a place to park, he merely walked away. As I entered the building I saw a sign that directed people to service and parts across the street. I confirmed the location and asked jokingly if they had more room for trailers over there, the salesman (absent any sense of humor or smile) said "I don't know I haven't been over there today". Rather callous and uncaring, but I understand I wrecked his day by my inquiry (wth?). I went over to the service and parts area, and was again faced with the challenge of where to park (for goodness sake, its a trailer shop, no place to park a trailer!? to quote-"CMON MAN!" Regardless I went inside-nice and clean, well organized, building my expectations..soon to be crushed. The parts guy was on the phone so I waited patiently (no really, just hanging out :-). After a few minutes (still no problem) another guy came from the back and asked if he could help. I told him I wanted to discuss ramp options for this trailer that I have...the guy on the phone interrupted and said "We only have what we have in back", which of course I have never seen their back...the gentlemen that came out said "We'll discuss some options here with you in a minute" obviously waiting for the guy on the phone to get off. Instead, still on the phone, this guy at the parts counter said "we don't really have anything, you'll have to get it custom made" and went back to his call. I asked where, and he gave me three random letters, that's it. no location, no name, no city, no state, no help, no direction. He added "You'll have to know what you are looking for". I told him that I knew exactly (but looking for options) and that it was on the website. His reply (and I'm not kidding here) "We have a lot of crazy stuff on the website that we don't have". These guys were obviously determined not to gain a customer, but to get me out of their store, why I have absolutely no idea. Apparently, a request for service proved to be just too much for this group. I asked for the letters again, and he repeated them, I had to ask "where" and he just gave me a city. Mercy, what great help. I have 4 trailers, and a lifetime of needs for service, parts, and new purchases. I can tell you that I will never, and encourage all of you, to drop your expectations of anything positive from Trailer Source, you will be bitterly disappointed. Had a wonderful experience at Trailer Source. I bought a Winnebago, my first RV and love it. I looked at about 25 RVs before choosing Winnebago. Like with any bigger purchase there's some negotiating and it can be stressful, but just do your research prior to visiting and be familiar with their inventory. RV Trader is a good app to use to narrow down what you're looking for and what price is reasonable. I'm glad I did this because I wasn't quite sure what I wanted and looking at that app and then checking out the you tube videos of models really helped me. Scott was our salesman, kind and patient. Chase was the primary person for negotiations and was very knowledgeable and not pushy at all. Having bought many cars/trucks/houses over the years, my interaction at this dealer was pretty painless and one of my best experience. Both gentlemen were respectful, and reasonable even though I changed my RV choice 3 times, with the last change at the last minute! After you decide on your purchase there's about a weeks wait to get into the service department for the walk through. That was a bit frustrating because once I buy it I want it (!) but it was worth the wait. John took the time to go over every detail of owning an RV and didn't rush me, even with numerous newbie questions. I had to come back the next day because I was having technical difficulties with the equalizing hitch (i.e. I couldn't get the damn thing off my truck) and Jason in the service department took his time to go over everything again and made sure I was comfortable with it's operation. I never felt pressured or rushed at any point of the purchase. Although most of the guys there aren't wearing masks, when asked they all did and respected my request that they do. The worst place I have ever bought anything. They will lie to your face just to get you out the door. There finance manager told us the loan would go through. We show up to sign loan paperwork and the interest rate is 3 times higher. Which was do to something on our credit. The problem is we didnt even get a phone call. We worked it out with finance company and bought. When we looked at the camper the canvas was really dirty along with the inside. We were told it would be clean when we come to do walk through. We come for walk through and the canvas and beds are wet and the canvas wasn't washed yet. We leave it to be cleaned and come back a week later and the inside was just as dirty. The canvas was washed but was molded and stained from not being folded up dry. Couldn't see stains because of the dirt before. There service dept said they would get a new canvas in 7 to 10 days and we can bring in at our convenience and they can have it back to us in a couple hours. Today we get a call, 3 weeks after canvas was supposedly ordered and told it wont be in for another couple weeks and we will have to leave it for a week to get it fixed. I have a list of other issues that need addressed after using 1 time but wanted to wait for the canvas that was supposed to be here a week and a half ago. Very disappointed. Dont buy from them unless you like getting the runaround. read more

We purchased used from a private party, but paid Trailer Source-Wheatridge (TS) nearly $300 to fully inspect it. The previous owner agreed to pay for any needed repairs. In fact two items TS did find wrong, the owner asked me if he could replace them, which he did. The slide operation was the key item of concern as it did not operate smoothly. After the "inspection" was completed, we took ownership and got title. They clearly never inspected it as the slide seals were ripped and falling off when we got it and it needed adjustment. The bathroom fan sounded like a screaming 6 year old girl. 2 of 3 stove burners would not light, one of which had a visibly broken igniter ceramic. They replaced a tail light that they were not supposed to touch, which I later discovered had the wrong lens installed and they wired it backwards. When I called back to report these things the lady said the slide must be okay because the shop guys never mentioned any issues. Really? the main item of concerns is deemed 'good' cuz nothing was reported wrong by the shop guys? When I said this was unacceptable, she said, 'sorry, I'll tell them to be more careful in the future'. That was the proposed solution of the Wheatridge location. After some very assertive conversations, the service manager agreed to reinspect and I required it be done at the Colorado Springs location as I clearly had no confidence in the original shop. After the inspection down here this service manager called to let me know all what they found and it would be over $1100 in repairs and they could get started right away. After another assertive set of conversations they agreed to cover the cost of repairs as it would have originally been covered by the now-previous owner. Later the Colorado Springs service manager seemed pleased to tell me they found the propane sensor was expired so they replaced it also, but on the first trip out with it, found that neither the smoke alarm or co2 alarm had batteries in them and the co2 sensor is not working. When I went to pick it up, they pulled it out so I could hookup to it and then left me to hook it up myself... only to discover the power tongue jack didn't work. The service manager came out and said it would probably work after it thawed and used a socket arm to lower onto my truck. After it warmed up, I discovered switch was bad and I had to replace that too. So, yeah, TS will not be our sales or service provider. read more
