Best install and alignment period. I recently got my Boss 2.0 lift kit installed with Toyo AT2s 285/75/16 on my Toyota Tacoma 2017. The Toyota dealership warned me that I would rub with a larger tire, but RSG heat molded and aligned my vehicle back to specs, and I had zero rubbing. I am super happy about my truck. The folks who run the place (Jason's) are super friendly and have a great team. I honestly would recommend this place to anyone who owns a Jeep, Toyota, or Lexus as they do so many. Took my GX470 to get a Toytec lift installed. Rides good. Wanted to come back in for the 500 mile post install courtesy check up that they offer, RSG could never fit me into their work schedule. Came back at 1000 miles post install and they wouldn't do it. Fast forward 6 months. Remote reservoirs have come unmounted from original bracket points. No heavy off-roading has been done with this vehicle, both rear shock boots have fallen off, saw that they were secured with zip ties. Personally witnessed a completely fucked up install of a King 2.5 kit on a 2001 Tacoma. Installed u-bolt flip improperly, mounted rear shocks in wrong position allowing only 3 inches of compression. Was fixed the same day. The truck was transported to eagle Colorado (2.5 hrs away) only to find out that RSG DID NOT PUT NITROGEN IN THE FUCKING SHOCKS! This place makes a habit of bashing other local fabrication shops specifically Slee Offroad. I didn't even know who they were until they mentioned them. Bottom line: 2 separate suspension installs, both around $4000, both fucked up. Edit: Never referred to RSG as shit, but if they insist. read more

It's been a pleasure doing business with RSG. I got new tires mounted on old wheels that I had and an alignment on my car. They also replaced my rear upper and lower control arms . The staff was really friendly and helpful and guided me to selecting tires that were a better option than what I had suggested. Im stoked to have good and reliable work done on my vehicle. Recently ordered a set of rock sliders from them- unfortunately, UPS messed up the delivery and one of the boxes was completely demolished and one of the sliders got scratched. To add insult to injury, all the hardware (bolts, nuts, etc) were missing- probably fell out when one side of the box was completely ripped open. I contacted RSG and they went out of their way to ship me a whole new hardware kit that very same day. They were very quick with their communications and made an effort to make sure I'd be able to get these sliders on before my trip to Moab. Definitely a quality shop! read more

Full vehicle inspection on 4/25 because of my back passenger tire wobbling. Mentioned the ride quality was rough. Advisor was Andy Moore. RSG quoted me new upper and lower UCA, and alignment. Also, a wheel bearing replacement that they had already done previously (covered under warranty). Asked for a suspension lift. Andy quoted me Bilsteins 6112/5160 w/ Icon RXT leaf pack w/ AAL, Dobinsons billet aluminum UCA, lower UCA , and an alignment. Total = $6,700. I approved the job and was informed that the vehicle would be completed on 5/1. After approving the work on 4/25, Andy said a part was backordered. They weren't expecting it until 5/3, and would complete the job then. Called after no update on 5/3, the backordered item had not been delivered and it was now expected to arrive 5/6 or 5/7. I was told again that when they received the part, the vehicle would be completed on the same day. I called EOD 5/6 after not receiving an update, part still hadn't been delivered. I called on 5/7, still no part. Then received no update on 5/8. I received a call on 5/9. My vehicle was complete and ready. Upon arrival, Drew asked if I had been given an update. Told him no. He said the wheel bearing job was a larger job than they realized. They had to replace 2 wheel bearings, wheel cylinder, wheel seal, and axle shaft. Was told this is what caused the delay because they had to order additional parts. All covered under warranty. If they just communicated these issues, I would have been more lenient with the amount of time they had my vehicle. But instead, I was provided with multiple failed commitment dates. Drew collected my payment of almost $7,000 and handed my keys to me. Before leaving the parking lot, I started the car and was met with multiple warning lights on the dash. The pre collision system and stability control system. I immediately went back in and asked if I needed to do something about it and he said I shouldn't be getting those alerts.After 20 minutes of diagnosing, Drew asked me if I had any of the alerts before my appointment with them( I did not have ANY warning lights). He then claims that he sees signs of rodents and has a concern they may have chewed the wiring. Which was confusing to hear for two reasons. One being that they had my vehicle for 2 weeks with nobody noticing the alerts on the dash when moving the vehicle around the lot or more importantly during the test drive they should be performing at the end of the job to assure my vehicle is safe. Secondly, they apparently did a full vehicle inspection on 4/25 yet I was only just now being informed that they see signs of rodents. He offered to let me take the vehicle and bring it back the following week or to just leave it. Feeling there was no other option, I left the vehicle. 5/13 and 5/14 they supposedly inspected and determined that the steering wheel angle sensor was bad and that they ordered a new one. After it arrives, I'm told they were sent a bad sensor and had to reorder it. Andy then informs me that the work they did would not have affected that sensor and I would need to pay but was told they would "take care of me". 8 days later after Ive paid the $6,700 invoice, I received a call on 5/17 that the sensor was good, installed, and the alerts had gone away. I was then provided a bill in the total of $692.05 and was informed that I was paying for the cost of the part with 1 hour of labor and that they were going to "eat" the 6 hours of labor they had done. 3 days later after having the vehicle, I realize my remote start does not work. I called RSG and their answer again is, none of the work we did would have affected that. I find it absolutely ridiculous that I spent that much money ultimately to be given my vehicle back with other issues that never existed before my visit. Feels like dirty, trashy, scam like business practices. read more

We got a new van and needed a remote start system installed. There are many do-it-yourself kits out there, but we wanted a professional job done. I called a shop or two but didn't have much success. I went to my trustee Yelp family and found RSG. I schedules an appointment and they took my credit card for a deposit. The day came for the appointment and these guys were extremely helpful. They installed my remote start 2 hours ahead of schedule and called for an early pick up. A week later I referred a friend there and my friend thanked me for the referral because he was so impressed. Only unknowledgeable / beginner off roaders leave happy!!! Horrible customer service and poor knowledge of offroad vehicles and parts in general. Made an appointment weeks in advance for specific vehicle with an old lift, because they are so busy. show up and have them tell me they dont have record of an apt, or work on my vehicle, and they never even pulled it into their shop. Bought a pair of rock sliders for my 4 runner. Quality and design are very good. Its apparent their welder cares about his work. I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars due to the long lead time. They said 8 to 10 weeks and it took 9 so they did what they promised. I wasnt pleased they charged my credit card at time of order instead of when it shipped but that's a small gripe. When the dealership wouldn't help me with a tire warranty issue on my 2018 truck, I was referred to RSG from Toyo as they are a authorized retailer. The damage done to my tire wasn't covered under warranty (someone might have slashed it). The guys went above and beyond, to deal with Toyo directly and get me a discount as well as a gave me a great deal on a 2nd tire to replace my spare. Luckily they had these tires in stock and they quickly pulled my truck in and got the new tires on. I work in sales and customer service, so pretty picky on service. I went to get a remote opener installed on a Subaru. They up sold me to a remote starter. So the $149 I was quoted when I called jumped to $300. Then, when I got home and read the instructions for what they installed, I found they basically only did half the job. They did very little as far as instructing me on what they sold me. When I went back to get it set up the way I wanted, something that wouldn't take more parts, it's just a programming of the unit, I was told they would charge another $50. I would not recommend these guys at all. read more

I'm unbelievably impressed with the place. I came in over the weekend to get remote start on my car and they did a fantastic job from the second I called them to the second I walked out the door. When I originally called them for pricing details, I was surprised to find out that they are more affordable than car toys or Best Buy. Best Buy and car toys originally wanted to charge me extra for additional parts and labor, so when I came to RSG, they said that those guys were bullshitting me and I didn't need all those additional things in my car. RSG charged me a flat rate and provided excellent service. Even when I told them about my faulty alarm system, they said they'd fix it for a small additional cost, which I agreed to. Not only does this place set you up electronically, they're also a one stop shop for servicing and repair as well. The level of honesty and professionalism with the employees was what really blew me away. They take the time to explain everything to you and they don't try to push you to spend more money than you need to. These guys are great!! Stopped in for an estimate on a remote start kit. I had just gotten a price from Car Toys too. Not only did they match the Car Toys price but I like this kit way better. The install process was easy too. I only had a few days off left in the month and they were able to make it happen the next day even though they had a pretty full schedule. The guys were nice and I didn't feel like I was being overly schmoozed by a salesman like I did at Car Toys. Love the kit and loved the service I received!! Jason S. is a very cool person, almost too cool. I recently installed a Compustar/Drone remote system in my vehicle. The deal given and install went very well, however the issue is regarding the details. I would recommend them for the install with the caveat being you do you homework on the product you want specifically. Product knowledge and operation were the downfalls of the whole experience. A lot of questions posed beforehand and afterward were not known. I'm glad I'm a great internet researcher because the explanations given were incomplete at best. A lot of the operation was "discovered" after the install on my own. If you are not a "techie" and require detailed explanations about the nuances of operation, you will be disappointed. That said, I would recommend Jason and his outfit. Just do your homework, and know what you want - down to the type of install. For instance, I chose a soldering vs. clamp style install because of the permanence and advice from basically every installer/electrician opinion found on the net. It costs a bit more but is worth it IMHO. Overall, a good experience. Jason is a good, family man that runs a fair business. He just needs a little work on the customer experience (product knowledge) side and this a winner. read more

The Remote Start Guys were terrific in my experience. I went to these guys with a unique need as I required a Remote Start that would meet special criteria on the parameters and intervals for the automated start times. Initially the specs on the model that I bought did not meet this criteria. Jason worked with me 3 times on getting it right and spent 3X's as much man hours as would be typically required on a remote start install.
