If I could clone the owner, JC, and have him available to fix all the stuff that breaks, my life would be carefree. I bought my Honda Civic brand new in 1991. 28 years and 350,000 miles later, I cannot give it up, but unfortunately things are beginning to fall apart. I visit my regular mechanic, A & H Auto Care in Centennial for most of my repairs, but when it come to anything involving the AC unit, Colorado Auto Air is the only place for me, despite the drive from Parker. My car was overheating while using the AC. JC quickly figured out that one of the coolant fan wires was not attached properly. He was also able to fix my radio speaker. While using the wrong tools with a lack of knowledge about an AC system I ended up overcharging my system. Julian was able to get me in his shop the same day I called and had me back out within 30 minutes of walking in the door. He got the discharged my system and recharged it with the proper level and did a leak test at a great price. I wont hesitate to use his services again. read more

What a pleasant surprise - to find a local small business owner to restore my faith in the automotive service industry. I can't say enough nice things about Colorado Auto Air, and especially the owner, JC (Julian). Extremely thorough and quality work throughout. He took a lot of time to explain what he was checking for, what the outcomes might be and gave me several options. I brought my 2012 Mini Cooper in for AC repairs, and he diagnosed it, overnighted the part and fixed it - for a fraction of what Mini of Loveland wanted to charge. I was so pleased that when I picked it up, I dropped off my 1996 Tacoma, which hadn't had working AC since I've owned. it. Once again, stellar work - and he was able to weld in a repair fitting where the line had been crushed, and I drove away as a very happy customer - in the second "cool" car in the span of just a few days. And once again at a fraction of what others would have charged. As others have said, I only wish JC worked on everything automotive - I'd never have to shop elsewhere. Extremely satisfied - I HIGHLY recommend JC and Colorado Auto Air. Oh, and he also diagnosed my inoperative horn and high beam switch - and suggested where I could get the parts cheap and how to fix myself. Unlike the 2 other mechanics that I had seen for the same car issue, Joe found the problem right away, did not charge me a dime for the diagnostic, and gave me the option to order the replacement part or let me do it. I brought my jeep into Joe (the Owner) two months ago to install my off road bumper and tire carrier. Install went smooth and he had me out of there quick. Well this past week I rolled the jeep and I needed to use that rear bumper and its recovery points to get it back on its wheels. I had another jeep pulling like mad on that bumper and it worked perfectly no issues with the installation at all. Joe is super nice!! He didn't charge me to look at my car which was leaking radiator fluid. Got back to me about hour later and when we picked it up, only charged me 10 dollars because he had to make a tool to tighten the lines. I didn't have cash and he said we could pay him later. I don't think I will ever go to any dealership again to get my car looked at or fixed. This is a go to mechanic for sure! read more

Very pleased with the work done and time it took to get it done. Took my car in for a new starter. I already knew what the problem was and brought in my own part. Joe was great, quoted me the price and stuck to it even though it took him longer than expected to install it because the part I brought in was not exactly the same as the part taken out. I called in the morning to see when he could get to it, took it in that afternoon and had it back that evening. Great prices and honest.
