I wanted a Kubota. The "local" Kubota dealer (40 mi away) was my 1st stop. I gave them my parameters and my budget. Over 2 months they gave me quotes that were too high and not close to what I wanted. They weren't truthful with me and tried to only sell me what THEY had in their stock. I was driving north on Inst 5 with my wife, discussing my frustration when she said, "... well, are they the only Kubota dealer?" On a whim, she Googled Kubota dealers near me. Up popped Nor Cal Tractor Sales ... (these guys are all part of the same company) ... in Redding CA and they were 10 mi ahead and right off the highway. We walked in, dressed for "Lake Time" and their sales rep (Kris B) was immediately accommodating. I told him my saga and what I had been looking for. Model numbers etc. That's where I learned I'd been misdirected. Kris pointed out the models I was asking about were older and no longer available. They didn't even have them in their rental fleet any longer. Then he showed me the new model ... the one the other guy told was so new they couldn't even get one for 6 mos. ... he had 4 of them. I had given him my budget already, remember? He came in $4k under!!! Then ... cherry on top ... he delivered it for $200!!!

I guess if you aren't actively making a purchase, your calls no longer matter. I was able to instantly get a hold of finance before our purchase closed. I live about 5 hours away and work full time so really can't swing a quick pop-in, but might have to find an excuse to travel to Anderson to have my questions addressed. Maybe someone will get back to me after this review since nothing else seems to be working. Aside from this weeks-long run-around, the rest of my experience was great. Spencer in sales was awesome and worked quickly to help us with our purchase, always responded to our questions - even if he didn't have an answer at the moment, and really went out of his way in providing excellent customer service. Call mobile RV repair tech who suggested I call Redding Trailer Rental. Got towed here, and Steve and his crew got to work right away and had the bearing replaced and a new drum fitted in under 2 hours. I was about to head out and noticed a frayed 7-pin electrical cable, which they were able to replace in no time also. Cannot recommend this business highly enough. We saw a few sloppy mistakes in the two or three trailers we looked at. We quickly realized Jayco wasn't for us. But the reason why I'm posting this is because they won't stop calling me!! I finally got really firm after a few sale calls from them and said that I do not ever want to buy a Jayco Trailer ever and to take me off their list. They said ok. So yesterday I was in the middle of something and they called me!!! I said "I told you that I wasn't interested and to stop calling me." They said "Yes, I can see that. But my manager told me to call you because we're giving away a free trailer." WHAT??????????? I DON'T WANT A JAYCO TRAILER, EVEN IF IT'S FREE!! If you want to check out their trailer, good luck. Avoid Blue Compass RV Anderson at all costs!!!…read more I bought a used RV from them in December 2024 that was sold without disclosing serious damage compromising the structural integrity--making it dangerously unsafe to operate on the road. Multiple licensed mechanics have independently confirmed these severe safety defects. To make matters worse, the catalytic converter was illegal and non-compliant with California emissions standards - this was discovered getting another smog test only 8 months later, and was also reported to their team. SCAMS on smog tests - do not believe the documents they share. Their service department claimed they don't keep maintenance records, which is shocking and unacceptable for a dealer of their size and reputation. This level of negligence and disregard for customer safety is disturbing. Buyer beware--this dealership shows blatant dishonesty and a total lack of responsibility.
