I wish I could give these people ZERO stars. Purchased a brand-new RV from them. Used it one time; rest of the time it was at our home, covered. Took it in for a minor repair and it sat at their repair shop for EIGHT, yes EIGHT MONTHS!! During that time, it was damaged, left open, and by the time they returned it to us, the interior walls were covered in black mold. All we got was the run around from them about the company changing owners and high turnover in the service department. Tried contacting the corporate office but was constantly referred to one of their retail stores in Idaho where no one knew anything about this. If only their bullshit was worth something, but we got screwed big time by them. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!! read more

They changed name to Blue Compass I posted this same review there. My new Class B (under warranty) was with them for many months. Eventually it was partially fixed. However, I did all the work. They followed up on nothing. I ended up talking to the manufacturer, to the charging system vendors and finally the lithium battery manufacturer, all their job. I negotiated getting the batteries replaced as well as having the manufacturer pay for the install. Luckily I could stay with a friend so I had a place to live. I was down 4+ months because of their incompetence. On the day I picked up my "finished" van the control pad that controlled all the RV functions wasn't working. Luckily my phone had an App that did the same thing so I left and had it fixed at another dealer when I got home (NC). Jess my service writer was very nice. However, he seemed to not read email or listen to his voicemail. Communication was horrible. I lost so much time because of his lack of follow up. Although BC/BD did the physical work, I did everything else. I was a 40 year supply chain and manufacturing guy so I was capable. I'm not sure someone who didn't have those skills would have gotten it done. In the end I asked Jess for email copies of the service record showing when the batteries were replaced. I've sent him 3 messages over several months to remind him. They never came. Par for the course. BC/BD was a horrible frustration. read more

He was attentive and listened to the things I was mentioning that might be important and we narrowed my choices down to (2) or (3). He wasn't pushy and I really did appreciate that. This is a committed purchase and I want what I want. Yes I know, I can be a bit difficult, but it's not like I'm purchasing a shirt. The place was actually located in Anderson and I wasted my time driving to the location listed in Redding. Very slimy service department. Lied during trailer walk thru. Sold me $500 "required" surge protectors (was told it would void my warranty if I didn't purchase). Found exactly same protector on Amazon for $169. Told propane tanks were 7 gal and one would be full. Lies. We ran out first night in 35 degree weather. So cold!!! Their lack of responsibility, reconciliation and retribution were astounding. Men who take advantage of those less knowledgeable and easily manipulated. Wow, what a terrible experience!!! From the sales side to the walkthrough side. The sales side was like dealing with the stereotypical used car salesman. The worst of all was the service advisor walk through to pick up the travel trailer. Jessee or Jess Hernandez, I'm not sure if the guys is a compulsive liar or just an idiot. He clearly doesn't know anything about the products or any of the stuff he works on. He says one thing and does another. He started off saying only run the ac's off 50 amp, as we get to the back of the tv he's running everything off a 30 amp. He then says it's ok because he is just doing it for a little while.this is just a small example. He completely contradicted everything he said the whole time. Well I hate to say Blue Dog was taken over by somebody else and the parts department has become less condemned considerate the parts manager seem to have a smart answer to my question after I waited for a part for seven months with no reply of where it is or how to do something else about it I managed to call the factory myself and ordered the parts myself in one day and they're on their way I think this behavior from the parts manager is unacceptable I spent $80,000 on a trailer and this is the respect I get out of the parts department at the dealer I bought it out there is no excuse read more

Go here if you want to waste your time and not have anything fixed. I went here in early October, 2021. My fresh water tank was leaking, cameras were delayed, master bedroom door track was damaged, pass through locks almost inoperable, and front door locks barely wanted to engage. I had to put my vacation on hold because my travel trailer had all of these issues and pay to stay at a hotel in Redding, CA for a week. When I received my travel trailer a week later I was told by the service manager that everything was fixed. I had to return to my home town and did not anymore time for the Blue Dog service center. The only issue Blue Dog RV service center of Redding (Anderson) fixed was the master bedroom door slide/track. Everything else was not resolved even though they claimed to have fixed it. Do not ever bring your trailer in here for repair! read more

I had a appointment in November of 2022 for warranty work on a Grand Design toy hauler, and to this date blue dog Rv has not started the warranty work 03/18/2023. Now I don't have a problem with Grand Design, the problem is with Blue Dog. I'm leaving Jeff out of this issue for now, all of the other service writers either lied or or terribly inept. It's been almost three years since we bought our Grand Design Solitude 310gk from Blue Dog RV on Westside Road in Redding. We were just there last week getting some work done on our refrigerator, and it's a pleasure to still give them a five-star review. Their sales department moved to a different location in Anderson, and the Westside location (4850 Westside Road, Redding CA) is entirely the Blue Dog RV Service Center now. We've seen some not so good reviews written in the past, and Blue Dog at Westside Road has a newer facility manager who is really doing a great job for the facility. In our 3 years, we've always worked with the service manager, Gary B., and he has consistently gone above and beyond in helping. He's been pleasant to talk and work with, and you can tell he really cares about the customer and getting them back on the road. You won't find a nicer and more laid back guy than him. A real pleasure to deal with. We've had some problems with our RV, which all have been the fault of the manufacturer. Gary B. and his crew at Blue Dog have been absolute gems in helping us obtain authorizations from Grand Design and from the manufacturers of the appliances in our RV. But we also realize the customer wields quite a bit of influence with the manufacturer of the RV and that we the customer have a responsibility try to and work in tandem with our service departments when it comes to getting authorizations from RV and appliance manufacturers. Between us, we've been able to get all the repairs we've needed over these last 3 years authorized. We think Blue Dog is "Top Dog" in service after the sale. **We are real customers who bought a Grand Design 310gk in September of 2020 from Blue Dog in Redding, and we live approximately 3 hours away from Blue Dog. We are not related to anyone who works at Blue Dog. And as said before, we are more than happy to give Blue Dog a 5-star review. They have earned it and deserve it. read more

I wish I would have looked up the reviews before coming here. If I could give zero stars I would. Our brand new toy hauler had some minor defects that we needed repair. We picked up our trailer today and it was DESTROYED!!!! Our brand new trailer had mud smeared on the wall??? They clearly didn't wear plastic covers on their feet since there was gravels and mud tracked in our trailer. They half assed every repair needed and didn't even repair one of the problems. Very VERY DISAPPOINTED in this place. They won't answer your calls or RETURN your calls. Please save yourself and your trailer. Don't take it there. BLU DOG RV IS A RIP OFF!!! Shameful! We made the mistake of buying a second RV from this place. I was convinced that the new management was an improvement over what we had experienced in 2018. Our experience has been a nightmare. Customer service consists of telling you what you want to hear but never following through with anything!! We are still waiting on a warped door that was supposedly replaced right after purchase. I do not believe what they tell us and have resorted to only working with Grand Design directly. They have been phenomenal to work with. They have even approved for us to have recall and warranty work done by an independent RV tech to avoid this place. Took my trailer in to have an awning installed over the slide out in early February. Picked the trailer up in early March. The awning was installed, but the slide out had been broken during the repair process. It was crooked when engaged and the trim on the edge of slide out was rubbed off along with part of the decal. I was told that these repairs would be made free of cost since they had caused the damage. Blue Dog kept my trailer for 3 months and said they had made the repairs. When I picked it up none of the repairs were made. Not only that but upon inspection, someone had used the trailer toilet and bunk bed and there was mold in the sink and stains on the new cushions. There were grease stains on the walls and the carpet. It was a mess!! I contacted the owner in Idaho who said he'd make good on it. Have never heard back. Had to file a police report as upon closer inspection several personal items had been taken along with several bottles of expensive wine. I have since had to take my trailer to another repair shop to correct the damage Blue Dog did and will be suing Blue Dog for the cost. Have also spoken to several trailer owner who had similar experiences with Blue Dog RV. Never use this outfit. HORRIBLE!!! read more

We purchased our 3rd Solitude from Blue Dog in Anderson, Ca. This was in fact the second RV we have purchased from them. I have to say, it was not only painless, it was a terriffic experience. We were greeted by Aaron, who escorted us around the the various RV manufacturers and models. He was incrediblly astute in remembering our requirements and guided us seamlessly through our search relating the pros and cons of each model. We landed on a Solitude (our 3rd one) and went home to review our choice before purchasing. There was no pressure or pushing us in any way, however we did call with many questions, which he graciously answered each time. We returned to view it again, and he even came in on his day off to assist us. We then decided to purchase the unit and were turned over to Kale, the manager who went over everything with us again so he knew we had all the information we needed. He could not have been more accommodating or professional. Then of course we were introduced to "the money man" Andy. Wow he went over everything, warranties etc. There is so much to know and be aware of, and he took his time to make sure we knew everything! I have never had so much fun spending that much money! Everything was relaxed, professional and all aspects were on the table. Then, of course we had some things we wanted to add to our RV, so it went up to the Redding location for the work to be done. Gary did a great walk through and made notes of things to be done and Wes oversaw everything done.These guys just knocked their socks off to give us the best adivce and please us with excellent service. Where do I start. I bought a Keystone Passport 2020 1st thing happed was outdoor refrigerator panel blew off. Next heater failed and was informed by local repair shop that Furnaces in Keystone units were fraught with problems. I've had service out 5 x to get it working. Trent was to order a new refrigerator cover, which he never did. A Jack failed and wouldn't come down, I ordered and installed myself. Trent again promised a check to cover cost, that never happened. I took the trailer to 2 different Keystone dealers, both refused to assist as they didn't sell the unit. The "Delux Seating" failed after week 2, so 1/2 sofa is very uncomfortable. I'm awaiting shipment for 1/2 a sofa. Some of the supports were left out of shelfs which caused shelfs to collapse. I had paneling behind dinning area cushions that was 1 1/2" to short and had 8-10 shims holding trim up. Needless to say that failed. I took the trailer back to Blue Dog as I bought the trailer from them they promised to have all 13 items fixed promptly, since it's a 360 mile round trip which includes an over night stay they said they would keep up with me on repairs. They didn't. After weeks of delays the young woman in service called to say work was completed. I was assured upon dropping the trailer off it would be clean and 100% repaired and ready for the sales lot. I drove 180 miles and got a hotel room, Arived at 9:00 AM The trailer was filthy, jack wasn't repaired, broken refrigerator panel Trent was to have ordered was still broken and tied to the trailer, upon opening door the sofa was in pieces on the floor. I left. I was called and told the trailer was ready for pick up the following weekend. The trailer was cleaned, sofa put back together, jack fixed. Refrigerator panel on... no repair to paneling that was 11/2" short. So I sit outside with Bryan the service manager for close to 2 hours for work to be completed. I sold the trailer, only to have the new owner call to say the kitchen faucet didn't work. Faucets were the #1 item on there repair list as Keystone uses such cleap fixtures. I've called and sent emails and basically all I get back is send a bill and we will have warranty company reimburse you. Bottom line, the Sales department doesn't have a clue as to the poor quality of their RVs and are very untruthful about their service department and the ability for you to take your RV to other Keystone dealers. The service department is completely inept and the "Corporate Service Manager " Tent doesn't follow thru or solve any problems. My advice would be never buy a Keystone Passport Trailer and never ever buy from Blue Dog. These trailers are large instruments and no one there seems to care once the Sale is made. There are many dealerships in the Redding area, please if you value your sanity shop elsewhere read more

I purchased a new grand design travel trailer from Blue Dog that I was extremely happy with our sales person Mike. their service center is another story. I added roof vent covers and had them install a fantastic fan in the bed area. they wired the fan to the light switch to the fan so the only way I could run the fan was the lights on. I spent several hours Re wiring so it had a dedicated switch. secondly I did a roof inspection shortly after and found they installed the vents without any lock washers and several brackets were already missing. Additionally I had them order me a cover. I confirmed my trailer model and reinforced it has a stock ladder and rear spare tire. The service manager confirmed my text and assured me thye would order the correct size. I picked this up as I traveled through town since I live several hundred miles away. once I got home prior to unboxing the cover for installation I had doubts it was the correct size. I called them and after further conversation they agreed it was the wrong size but his the kicker. Even though they admitted it is in fact the wrong size they won't pay for me to send it back even though it's totally their fault. I called my salesmen and he is very frustrated with them and offered to pay for the freight back. left to be decided is who pays to get me the correct cover. BUYER BEWARE!!!! Although sales was wonderful, since then it has been an absolute nightmare I purchased the 2023 Aurora on 12/26/22. The coach was transferred to the service department for a routine QA review and to address any potential issues as expected with a new coach. It was noticed that the refrigerator was loose in its housing and was to be properly secured along with other minor adjustments before delivery. Once delivery was made, I had an opportunity to thoroughly go through all components and discovered the trim around the refrigerator was improperly mounted with several screws that were not properly secured to any backing, the trim was bowed at the bottom, the Trim around the inside of the door was extremely loose, The microwave did not work and a cross member behind the refrigerator was split at the mounting screw. With these minor issues and having had the coach only a few days in my possession I called and returned the coach to be corrected. I returned the coach to blue dog on 1/7/23 and after weeks with no communication from service department I contacted a representative who said the unit was ready for pick up on 2/14/23. On 2/18/23 I arrived to pick up the coach only to discover the coach was not ready for pickup as advised but in fact additional damage had been done to it while in their possession. While completing a walk around of the coach, I discovered the right rear tail light cover on the ground and both tail light assemblies quite loose, minor scratching to the left side window trim and to the right side front edge trim, wiring hanging loose under the coach and the key lock to the outside storage door had been damaged and was not functional. Upon further inspection of the interior work that was supposed to be performed I noted the refrigerator trim was remounted far beyond subpar with the edge screws mounted near the edge of the trim and was told that they were hardly attached to their support (clearly this would become an issue during any reasonable travel causing a failure). Additionally the old screw holes had been filled with wood putty in a very haphazard fashion. It is very concerning having bought a new coach, brought in with 4 relatively minor issues only to discover many more that were not present at the time the coach was dropped off. it certainly raises the question of what else will I find when and if the repairs are ever made or made correctly. My impression with blue dog service thus far is that there is no care or concern given to the property entrusted to the service department. I absolutely believe had I not completed a walk around and observed these issues, they coach would have been returned to me hoping I didn't notice and in a condition less than as purchased. This is not acceptable! Period. I do not think it unreasonable to expect a unit be returned in better condition than when dropped off...not worse! It is now 3/17/23 and the the coach still sits with promise after promise and still no results, no calls, no action, no follow through ...No Nothing! The level of incompetence is second to none! People to be named in future reviews as this saga continues. read more

Bought 2 camp trailers there . One was used with several issues. JESS and his guys addressed each issue and performed miraculous results . I was more than pleased with the work done. They performed quickly and kept me informed of progress. When finished, the trailer looked like new. The cosmetic repairs were fantastic, way beyond what I expected. They did an amazing job. The price was as advertised, the salesman was knowledgeable, the dealership was clean and welcoming, and the final walk-through and paperwork were seamless. Hi. We just received our trailer. While doing the walk thru we where told the furnace, hot water heater, tanks etc where checked. When we set up for the night for the first time we noticed several items that indicated nothing was checked. 1. Pink antifreeze came out of each faucet, toilet and shower. This indicated that nothing was turned on to be checked. 2. No water to hot water heater therefore no hot water. This indicates the service department did not dewinterize or even test 3. Turned furnace on and immediately RV filled with smoke. This indicates the service department did not check furnace. This is a very serious health hazard. 4. Carbon monoxide detector is on the ceiling. Should it not be close to the floor? Carbon monoxide is heavier then air. This came the factory so not dealers fault. I do not understand why they signed a document that they checked these items when obviously they did not. I normally do not write a review before contacting the dealer and giving them time to correct things, however these are safety and health hazards. This has been by far the worst experience my family has ever had with an rv dealership and service department. They have had our RV for 7 months and none of the work has been done. My trailer has been in the service department for 14 of the last 24 months I have owned the trailer, (purchased 10/17/2021) didnt take delivery until 02/08/2022 for walk through items but nothing was done and trailker was just droped off again on 10/16/2023. Items of repairs, 1) Black and gray tanks wont drain, found plug from factory in the tank that was plugging the drain and the gray tanks had no drain connections. This repair was completed but now the drain handles are so hard to pull they will most likely break and the service writer tells me its not covered under warranty even though they did the work. 2) Trailer had an internal wiring failure so they had to run a new wire from the inverter/breaker box to the rear of the trailer but in the process damaged two of my bathroom vanity drawers to get access to the wiring harness and also damaged my fireplace by not installing any screws to hold it in place after access behind it so it fell out and slid all over the floor during travel but again, told it is not covered under warranty. 3) We have had a work order from our original walk through from the service tech stating there were dresser drawers out of alignment and not closing properly that needed fixing and when I pointed this out to the service writer he stated that he did not have a copy of that work order so I offered him a copy but all he could say was it is not covered under warranty. 4) Solar was wired incorrectly so it was not working at all so they supposedly rewired it but it is still not charging the batteries enough to just run the refrigerator as it is supposed to at the bare minimum. 5) Work order stated rear cabinet facing failure and hinge issue from day one and still not done over two years later. 6) Front cap of the trailer was damaged badly during transport from the factory but since the dealership did not catch it during inspection on their DAF report when it was delivered the manufacturer will not warranty the repair and the dealership wont correct it!! Every time these people work on my trailer it is filthy inside as they drag dirt and gravel inside and have damaged my floor. Last time it was picked up the Anderson hitch on the front was damaged due to running into the trailer with a forklift and took 3 months to get this part replaced. I have been constantly lied to, told what I wanted to hear, promised and denied repairs that were under warranty and damaged by their own service department. Numerous time I had told the service writer about an item that needed repair under warranty of which he never wrote down because he said Keystone didnt like more than 10 items on a warranty claim but promised would get looked at, which never did, then was told later this item wasn't covered under warranty. I have had 2 USB ports in the very rear of the trailer that haven worked since day one so I have had to put a claim in for this several times and was told every time they test it it is working fine and Jess states he has pictures showing its working but when I asked to see the photos all he showed me was a USB cord plugged in to the USB port but there was no photo of a device charging, are you kidding???? Tried to communicate with the service manager Joe Curland and was told whats in the past is in the past and that he was moving forward not looking in the past, excuse me? the last two years of terror is the past that has to be dealt with!!!! Tried to contact the general manager, which started communicating with me briefly then that completely stopped. Also tried several times to talk to someone at corporate with no return call either!!! These people are terrible, hands down!!!!! It has just been one thing after another. You would think after spending almost 80K on a trailer you could get better service from this company. At this point I will be finding a different service department to complete the repairs and expect Blue Dog/Blue Compass to compensate me for these repairs. We purchased a Grand Design Imagine travel trailer from them and were up against a tight schedule to get in our new coach and be off on our vacation. They assured us our new travel trailer would be in on time and it was! They stayed late on the delivery day to get us on our way. In the past we had to do a "shake down" trip to find warranty items (from other manufacturers), but not with this trailer. I am appalled at how my husband and I were treated when trying to drop off our RV today after waiting over a month to get an appointment for a diagnosis of needed warranty work. We arrived on time and waited for 45 minutes before anyone addressed our needs. When Jeff finally addressed us, he had an entitled, I don't care, attitude while speaking to us. When making the appointment and confirming this appointment this last Friday, we were told to drop off our RV at 9 am and we could leave with it by 4 pm the same day. Today, upon arrival we were told that they needed to keep it for at least two days! We drove over two hours for a day appointment. He did nothing to try to accommodate us, tried to make us feel like we were at fault. We were not told Friday when I called to confirm the appointment that the RV would need to stay for an extended amount of time. We are traveling and had not made arrangements to leave it, but would have if given a head's up. Completely unprofessional! Terrible Service Department. Jeff did nothing to make it right. He did not want our business and is a terrible representation of Grand Design RV's and any other. read more

I shopped online found a trailer we wanted at a great price made an appointment went in made a deal left a deposit signed the paperwork they ran the credit gave us a rate that would be this price or better called four hours later to tell us oh really straight from the bank on a Sunday the payment it went up $60 realistically found out It was they were trying to do is recoup that money that they had underPriced the trailer and were losing money so they thought they'd go ahead and try to scam us good thing we're not stupid. So I purchased a 2018 GD Momentium just a month before the local business sold to Camping World. For some reason, the dealership no longer carried the Grand Design products. Shortly after, Blue Dog RV opened up their dealership and carried Grand Design. Several of the employees of the other dealership left and joined Blue Dog RV. I had owned another RV and on several occasions had dealth with the same employees. At first I felt comfortable dealing with people I knew, but I was in for a rude awaking. I took the RV for 8 small warranty issues that took 3 months to turn around. During those 3 months, I was lied to on several occasions as to authorization on repairs and lied to regarding to shipping the parts. How did I know they lied? I called Grand Design. I can not speak about the sales with Grand Design as I did not buy my RV there. But if you plan to have any warranty repair, consider going somewhere else. I will NEVER go back. read more

Great experience buying our trailer and getting everything needed to get to camping! Brian in sales was very friendly and knowledgeable. We called from 4 hrs. away and said that we wanted a trailer today and asked if they could make it happen. Brian did some checking to make sure they would be able to help us and he delivered. We arrived and checked out the trailer we wanted. Chris at the service center was also very knowledgeable and helpful throughout our buying experience. Found our dream 2023 Grand Design Solitude 310 with full body paint At Blue Dog in Andersen Ca .Josh our salesman was awesome and answered all,of our questions . This where it all went wrong. The day came to pick up our brand new trailer.Upon inspecting the trailer I found a bad water leak in the storage basement. I went into the office and explained what was going on I was told I would have to leave the trailer for them to find the water leak and repair it. Now mind you they had the trailer for weeks before we were to pick it up so one would think they might inspect the water lines and electrical to make sure it was truely go to go. I flat said I don't think so you will repair it now . They reluctantly got to work and found multiple water lines and PEX clamps had failed and were leaking all over the basement. We were asked to hang out so the service manager could talk with us. The service manager showed up and apologized over and over again and gave us his personal cell # i f we needed anything else. They repaired the clamps with hose clamps and we were on our way. We got the trailer home safely and monitored the rest of the clamps for the next few weeks. I found more clamps that had failed and fixed them myself. The first trip came and all wasgoing well until it wasn't. While my wife was showering one of the hot water heater hose clamps wasn't tightened and the hose came off flooding the whole basement and underbelly full of water. I found the leak and made the repairs to stop the leak . The next morning we canceled the rest of our trip and called Blue Dog service in Andersen and spoke with the service manager and explained the situation . We made arrangements to drop off the trailer the following day back to Blue Dog service. When we dropped the trailer off the service manager was there and assured us everything would be fixed properly and there was a list that was given to them of everything that was to be repaired and or replaced as we had found multiple things that just weren't right . The service manager apologized over and over and promised us all would be ok. Fast forward a few weeks I had talked with the service manager and again was told everything was going good and the trailer would be perfect . A pick up,time was set to pickup the trailer in a few more weeks. The came to pick up the trailer and boy were disappointed . We were told the trailer would be detailed and it wasn't the Only thing that had been done was new insulation put in the belly pan. Everything else hadn't been touched and there was water still in the basement. Nothing inside had been touched . my wife and I were extremely frustrated and when we went into the service department we were told again we would have to leave the trailer again and no one seemed to know what was going on . I called the service manager to tell him how disappointed we were . He acted like we were out of line and said he was told that everything was done. So after loosing my shit the service team got to work again and fixed a few of the things and we left. I called Grand Design and explained the horrible service that we had received at Blue Dog and they assured us they were taking over and would handle the rest of the issues we had. Mind you we are 3 hour from home . We get home and water then starts pouring out from the under belly again from residue water left behind. A team came out to my house as i flat out refuse to take it back there . They replaced all of the soaked insulation again and still did nothing else . The trailer is pretty much go to go now minus a few cosmetic issues We are in contact with Grand Design and a Grand Design team will be completing the rest of the repairs. The service department at Blue Dog are flat out liars and have the worst customer service. read more

We were coming up short in a positive experience as a number of sales people at other dealerships as many lots were low on inventory due to the pandemic and unwilling to search manufacturer incoming deliveries. Mike found us match quickly and provided pricing, detailed information, and resources to help us make an informed decision. He also coordinated with Don in the parts and services department to ensure we had everything we needed at delivery. If there were any concerns or questions, Mike and Don or quick to respond with enthusiastically with honest and fair support. We took our brand new fifth wheel in for warranty work. We had to drive over 2 hours for this location because they assured us that they could be the work done before our May 1st deadline. As it turns out, they couldn't and it was an epic fail! They had our trailer for 7 weeks and fixed one small issue and didn't have enough time to fix the other two issues, one being in the undercarriage. We picked up our trailer on May 2nd and headed out on our 2 + hour journey home. About 20 minutes into the drive, Brian, the service manager called to tell us that his staff noticed they had neglected to reattach a part on the undercarriage of our 5th wheel. He assured us that we could pull over in the freeway and fix it. Unfortunately we didn't anticipate needing screws and a screw final we couldn't fix it. We had parts an an electrical panel dragging as we drive own the freeway. We called Brian who advised us that he didn't have a mobile service so we would have to continue driving 20 minutes down the freeway back to Blue dog to get his error fixed. After some rationalizing with Brian to the tune of this is dangerous, Brian agreed to send someone out to fix his problem. One hour later, the issue was fixed. Hated our experience here. I recommend finding somewhere else to purchase a trailer. We looked for three weeks finally found one in Medford, made the drive to Medford to look at the RV in person. Had horrible customer service in Medford, decided to transfer the RV to the Anderson location as I had been speaking with a sales representative that seemed to have my best interest at heart. After he made the sale he lied to us, never returned our phone calls, even when given the option to say something face to face he acted like he didn't know us. We never received a phone call stating that our trailer had actually been transferred from Medford to Anderson. Finally after seven days of waiting we called to the service department which was much more helpful than the sales department, They stated our trailer had been there for four days. So here we are the weekend and we still need to finish all the paperwork but yet the banks won't be open to finish processing them so now they say we can't get our trailer until next week, 16 days later we still have no trailer. If I could find this trailer anywhere else and go pick it up today I would cancel my purchase with blue dog RV. I will never go back to them nor will I ever recommend them. They are all about making the sale and lack customer service and general manners. read more

On 2/5/21, my father in law went to Blue Dog RV in Redding, CA to purchase a new trailer. He did not receive the actual trailer until 2/25/21 due to delays in getting the trailer from Las Vegas to Redding/Red Bluff. The trailer had multiple issues that needed to be repaired. As if that wasn't maddening enough, this dealership sold him everything they could! This was a 73 year old man, he was not going to outlive this trailer! They sold him a theft tracker that they knew damn good and well that he didn't need! He was going to be living in the RV in and RV park that he worked at. There was an 1% chance of it being stolen. They sold him GAP too. Why? In case he crashed it in the RV park? They also sold him the extended warranty. Again not necessary for a man of his age. Then there was the protective coating on the exterior so that it could still look nice after he was long gone. Which in this case was only 2 days later! Yes, my father in law passed away 2 days after receiving his trailer! He had to be moved into the trailer by 2/27/21. The delay in delivery contributed to his stress and subsequent heart attack. We went to the dealership on 3/1/21 to ask if they could take the trailer back which of course they refused to do. I expressed my opinion on them taking advantage of an elderly adult by selling him every backend product they could knowing he didn't need any of it, and the response I got from the sales manager was "I'm not sure what that has to do with anything." This dealership is very unethical and puts money above everything else! By the way, the stupid trailer still isn't fixed but, they don't care, they got their money already. Oh, and they gave him an unreasonably high interest rate and I have a background in financing, I know for a fact that dealerships are given options on interest rates. They make money on the backside if they can get the customers to agree to a higher interest rate. Another example of taking advantage of the elderly! read more

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT do business with this place! Horrible business and customer service. We brought our trailer in for warranty work in November 2022, here we are 6 months later in April 2023 and we are back at square one. They "forgot" about our trailer for 3 months when we found out the parts had not even been ordered yet and then just have given us the run around since. They told us they have a new service manager and things will get turned around and that we are not the only ones in this situation, as they have someone who has been waiting 9 months. That does not make us feel better. We have owned and used the trailer for 2 months and they have had it on their lot for 6 months. We are paying on a trailer that we cannot use. The trailer is unusable because the outside door won't close. Oh, and they let our 3 batteries die while in their possession and will not pay for new ones. We contacted the manufacturer and they contacted Blue Dog to get a rush on the parts and work, but still nothing. When we call for an update, they bring up our account and say "Remind me what parts we ordered for you again" and then say they need to look into where our parts are and they will call us back...Seriously??? We never receive a call back from them. SIX MONTHS and no end in sight!!! read more

Would leave zero stars if possible. Their finance office needs to get their stuff together. We put a "hold" on a RV, but then had a change of heart. It's been two weeks since trying to get refunded. They were quick to take money, but refuse to refund us even though they guaranteed a full refund if we wanted to change our minds. RV selection is alright, but you can definitely tell they don't know what they're doing, or care for their inventory. Drive an extra couple of hours to Turlock. This place is a trap. read more
