I made the mistake of going to Jayco to look at trailers. My wife and I had never looked at a trailer and we thought it might be fun and perhaps we'd see something we liked. Sadly I made the mistake of giving them my phone number. First, I don't like Jayco Trailers. They are cheaply made with plywood. We saw a few sloppy mistakes in the two or three trailers we looked at. We quickly realized Jayco wasn't for us. But the reason why I'm posting this is because they won't stop calling me!! I finally got really firm after a few sale calls from them and said that I do not ever want to buy a Jayco Trailer ever and to take me off their list. They said ok. So yesterday I was in the middle of something and they called me!!! I said "I told you that I wasn't interested and to stop calling me." They said "Yes, I can see that. But my manager told me to call you because we're giving away a free trailer." WHAT??????????? I DON'T WANT A JAYCO TRAILER, EVEN IF IT'S FREE!! If you want to check out their trailer, good luck. Update: it seems it should be expected that there's stuff wrong in all brand new campers; not the brakes! However rude the sales manager was, the service guy that came from home and fixed them so we could leave was super appreciated. So I wanted to improve my feedback. He would not apologize (claimed he had) and he admitted tuning me out when I called back the day after buying it with more broken trailer issues. He casually Suggested I make an appointment with service for warranty work. He also considered himself an expert on customer service and trains the staff so that explains why they were all so rude. We weren't told to expect one that was broken with tons of things wrong and that it was buyer beware. Which was the sales staff attitude when we found broken things. We were told to expect that everything we've been gone over and be perfect when we got there. Don't believe this! Inspect your camper carefully, bounce on the beds, check the drawers, give it a once over for sure so you can get it fixed as a priority to close the sale instead of after you leave. Do not have faith they will go through everything and make sure it's perfect as I had been told. We found later pre wiring is missing for the backup camera, the upper bunk was rotted and broke with light weight on it, and so forth. We should have checked all the outlets, the AC, everything! Make sure the fuses are good that the inverter isn't broken, look for missing and broken trim, door and drawers that don't work or latch. Look for rusty or stripped screws as there was trouble hiding behind these clues (the rotten bunk had rusty screws for example). Warped boards could indicate leaking windows, watch it get leak tested if possible before you leave. Plan enough time for a return trip in the event your camper needs more than quick fixes as well. Don't plan on leaving with the camper and it will go easier when you find all the problem's. read more

April called Norcold and Dometic to find a current replacement model and then called all around locally to try and find one in stock. my Brother bought an RV from these people and I have watched my poor sister in law spend multiple hours trying to correct they mistakes. They issued title incorrectly and then when it came time to fix it claimed that they could not and she would have to. They took no responsibility for their mistake. On top of that the RV had multiple things that were wrong with it that they did not fix when asked the first time for the warranty items to be fixed. It went back again and is now sitting there unusable as they still have not fixed it. watching the headache this company has been for her I would love to scream from the roof tops, don't use them! I have taken my travel trailer to this business (under various names) for several years. A few years ago I had them repaint the trailer and they did a very good job. We are now moving to Texas and need to live in the trailer for the next ten days. A few weeks ago I took the trailer in and paid more than $1500 to have the roof cleaned and treated and a leak repaired, plus a sale featured full and complete inspection of all appliances and systems. This evening, since it is VERY hot (107), I went out to turn on the air conditioner, and it does NOT work! Sounds like a Rambler about to throw a rod. The final straw after finding they did not replace the water filter or the cut screen in the door like they were supposed to. The service manager was supposed to call me back about fixing a problem with the slide out messing up the carpet, but never did. I am done with them and Camping World! read more

Buyer beware. After purchase service provided by the Gander RV service department is non existent. We bought our travel trailer in May 2021. We returned in June after scheduling an appointment for warranty work. 2 weeks later they still hadn't completed the repairs. We left disappointed and confused as to why they made lame excuses about their inability to provide the warranty work they are responsible to provide customers with. Then again, we we made an appointment for repair work in March of this year. Again, 2 weeks later(March 17th), we returned to pick up our trailer to find out the work we had requested still was not completed. Richard, the service manager, made lame excuses why our repairs could not be completed. He made no sense, so we asked to speak with Bruce, the general manager, and he closed his office door refusing to speak with us. We left in disgust with our trailer and vowed never to return again. We now have an active case with the Good Sam Club regarding a refund on our extended warranty we purchased because of the lack of service. Why pay for something we can't use. We do not recommend purchasing an RV from Gander because you will never receive satisfactory service after the purchase. Take it from this customer who learned the hard way. read more

I purchased a used rv from these people. The purchasing process went smoothly until it was time to sign the paper work putting the rv in my name. I paid cash so there was no finance hoops to jump through. The guy who handled the paper work tried to sell me an extended warranty. When I stated that I would like to think about it he stated that the offer was only good until the end of the business day. The cost was an additional $3500. I declined his offer which didn't sit well with him. I ended up purchasing an extended warranty the next day from the same company for less money. Hmm. There was a $1000 charge to detail and repair certain items. Some items were repaired but not all. The " detail " was nothing more than an outside wash. We went over these issues with our sales person and came to the agreement that if they supplied the parts, I would do the repairs. One item that needed replacing was the mattress. It was ordered andI picked it up and installed it.This was in July. Numerous inquiries about the status of the other parts produced nothing but excuses about why the parts weren't delivered. When I called yesterday I was told 1 part was there and the other part was still on order. When I went to get the part they had I found that they had never ordered the part . They gave me a used one they had on the shelf which of course turned out to be the wrong part. There was never a follow up call from anyone at the dealership to ask us if everything was to our satisfaction. I will be purchasing another RV eventually but will not go back here when I do. read more

DON'T bring your RV here for repairs....WORST customer service department EVER!! We were passing through the area end of August when we had a tire blowout that ripped open our AC cool cat unit. We were actually living in our camper at the time. We are two old ladies who brought our RV in to this establishment to take a look at the damage. We thought it needed a new unit, they said they could repair it. We said we couldn't be back in the area for about 10 days as we headed to a relative's house to stay while it was repaired. Took over two months, even though our insurance company approved repairs within 10 days. They didn't even order parts for 3 weeks, then customer service agent Steven Stewart continually lied to us about what was going on, or did not follow through with questions to parts department. After the parts came in, they "lost " one of the boxes and had to reorder. Ok here's the best part...After 7 weeks, they suddenly said we needed a whole new unit(AC cool cat), and not just the parts they had initially ordered. So they then charged our insurance company twice as much as initial quote. Complete and utter disregard for customers. read more

If I could leave zero stars, I would. This place is horrible. We had to have body work done to our Sprinter van and they assured us it was a two-week job. Right after I dropped it off, they messaged me and said that Mercedes no longer makes the part (a roof panel), that they would have to have the part fabricated. Then their "tech" said he could fix it, that they wouldn't need it fabricated. Then he decided it was too damaged, they would need it fabricated. Now, after more than three months, they tell me they are getting the part from Mercedes. So apparently Mercedes does make the part, so what have they been doing with my motorhome for almost four months? They got the part three or four weeks ago, said it should be ready in two weeks, and NOW, all this time later they are telling me they are going to paint it this week and do the interior next week. Two weeks has turned into almost four months and they still won't give me a date when it will be ready. Our summer is ruined. read more

I have edited this review a couple times since the purchase 1 1/2 years ago. I am so completely frustrated and upset with B and B RV. Our motorhome that we purchased new is a poorly built piece of crap. This motorhome has not been the fun/relaxing RV we intended it to be. It has turned into more of a source of stress, Literally every time we have used it something else breaks! In our 1 1/2 years of ownership it has spent months at the repair shop having the SAME ITEMS repaired over and over! The product they are selling (Jayco) is subpar and the service department is a total joke. My previous complaints about poor communication has improved. Our RV has had some major issues and complications. Brought it here and they have had it for six months now, still didn't get everything repaired and said they needed more time. I told their representative Curtis that we needed to pick it up as it's a work vehicle and we have been offline for six months already with it. He said there's nothing he can do. So, he said they were going to do the oil change and make sure it was ready (not for free, we had to pay of course). We are 10 minutes from the dealership when Curtis calls again and says that he's been short handed for days and they can't do the oil change. So, you call me right before I get there to tell me that once again, you cannot do what you're supposed to especially after having it six months? Recently I purchased a 2019 Thor Four Winds Rv via my daughter as I live overseas. The purchase went well but I would not recommend their after sales service as it seemed as though once the money had been paid they were no longer interested. I purchased the RV in February 2020 and almost 4 months later I am still waiting for the Californian registration plates. My daughter phoned the General Manager/Finance Manager several times who always promised to get back to her. I eventually got involved as we wanted to go on a road trip. After at least four phone calls he eventually promised to get back to me after I promised to phone him every day until I got and answer to my query. I am still waiting on the plates. Then two weeks ago I phoned sales person to ask about the warranty promised when my daughter purchased the vehicle. She promised to get back to me but to date I am still waiting on her call. If you are looking for some sort of after sales service I would go somewhere else. However, in mitigation the service parts manager was most helpful when I asked to be shown how to operate aspects of the motor home. I bought an Outdoors Rv from them in August. Struck a deal via the phone including a certain hitch. Made an appointment via phone and showed up about 10 days later. No one helped us or even looked like they knew we were coming. After an hour I finally found the GM and got things going. Trailer was a mess. No one inspected it. They told us simply we could bring it back for warranty work. I live 3 hours away and that wasn't something I wanted to do. I expected repairs to be found upon pre delivery inspection and none were completed. The hitch size and type I wanted was incorrect. Again, not much I could do seeing they didn't get the one I wanted. Hitch shank size and spring bars were wrong. They just looked at me blankly even though I had multiple calls and emails regarding the hitch. They go to install it and it's wrong. Bars would've fallen off at the first turn. They spend 2 hours trying to fix it. Basically this place is terrible. I had to pay another repair guy $260 to inspect my trailer when I got it home and go thru Northwood for the warranty work. B&B wanted me to bring it back so they could bill the company and make money again. Complete joke. Avoid this place at all costs! read more

We came into the RV lot early this very hot day and left before purchasing a rig. Salesman Tim helped us realize a few things as my heart was set on one vehicle, while my husband was set on another. Tim even asked the assistance of an employee in answering questions concerning removing decals, painting, placing new decals on the older RV, and topping off with a new clear coat. We called Gandera back and decided to go with the other RV, as the rig is newer, less miles, and will cost less and not be such a hard task to undertake as the other rig. We took our trailer in because our air conditioner was making strange noises. They charged me $139 for an AC Service & they just took the shroud off & saw a broken fan blade and recommended replacing it. Waited a week & they still couldn't give me an estimate! We also had our awning close up on us with no wind or rain so $89.50 for "Diagnostic" fee. They opened the awning & said they couldn't duplicate the issue. NOTHING WAS DIAGNOSED!!! Third issue was the water heater. Another $89.50 for "Diagnostic" fee. They cleaned it & recommended replacing it. Again no diagnosis and no estimate. So, I paid $309.67 for nothing and feel like I got RIPPED OFF and SCREWED!!! read more

I visited B&B RV and I was immediately impressed with this business. I waited for the unit I wanted to go on sale. In January the unit went on sale. I called and purchased the unit over the phone! Salesman Zach brought me the paperwork for me to sign. He drove over 100 miles to bring me the paperwork. I got a great deal and 4 days later I drove to Anderson to pick the unit up. Sorry, but the full story of my experience is bigger that Yelp will allowed. Clift notes: I bought a used RV from B&B, and when I went to pick it up one of the seals leaked. They fixed the leak, and proceed wreck the joint seal on the roof. After four attempts to fix the sealant, I am left with a roof that I will have to redo again. B&B's owner says that popped bubbles in the sealant is ok, and they are done with my RV, that they caused the damage to. They failed to fill up my RV after they picked up my RV and delivered to and from my house, $175 a trip. I bought a Jayco in September of 2018 for $26,000. I lost my trailer and home in the Campfire wildfire on Nov. 8th 2018. I called B&B in Dec. 2018 and said I wanted to purchase the exact same trailer for the same price I just paid 3 months ago (no discount asked for situation). They turn around and tell me they are going to have to charge me more than they did 3 months ago because they "lost" money in that deal. The "more" they wanted to charge ended up being $2,000 more. I even attempted to work with them and took $1,000 in extras off I had on my previous trailer. In the end, they would not honor their price I had previously paid 3 months ago, they stuck with attempting to charge me $2,000 more. I took my money and purchased the same trailer I previously had. Manteca Trailer & MotorHome gave me the original price I had paid in September of 2018. B&B RV has no integrity what so ever and in the end, I am happy it worked out this way because I will never spend another dime at this place. Side note: Our new trailer we purchased in Sept at B&B had two cabinet doors that were split (no big deal). We were told the new cabinets would take a couple of weeks (no big deal). After a month went by, my wife attempted to speak with the female service manager more than five times, with several days in between (even weeks). Service never called us back, we never received our new cabinets, and they had no idea we lost our trailer. Take your money elsewhere if integrity means anything to you and you want service from the service department. read more

I was recently shopping for a new RV, trading in my old one, a 2013, for something bigger and built better. Fell in love with the Open Range Light. We DID NOT end up buying from B and B. Read why... Alex was our salesman. Alex did a great job. We visited a few different times to look at that trailer. We walked in over 50 new trailers at several dealers but nothing compared to the open range. Alex was always more than willing to help, set it up, move it and plug it in. He was not totally prepared with all the facts about the trailer the first visit but obviously did his homework because the second visit he knew a lot more. That's what a good salesman would do. We decided on that trailer and had every intention to buy it from B and B. I had gone online to see what other dealers were selling the same unit for so I knew what we wanted to pay. The msrp was 50 grand. Other dealers had same trailer, same msrp, listed on sale at 36000. Chuck, sales manager, came at me with 44k for the new trailer and 10k for my trade. I showed him what others were selling for and made it clear they had to come way down. He comes back with 42k for new trailer and 8k for trade......im not stupid. They ended up coming down 1000 bucks after over an hour. I told them I was gonna call freedom rv in fresno and see what they would do. The next AM I call Fresno and we make a deal over the phone for thousands less than B and B for same option trailer. Yes, you read that right, thousands, many many many thousand LESS to drive to Fresno. They actually came down more without me even asking just to make it a even number. B and B were not gonna be able to come close to that price. To sum things up, Alex did a great job and I highly recommend him. We really wanted to give him the sale after all he did for us. The problem is, if you buy a RV from B and B I can almost guarantee that you are paying too much. Do your homework. Someone bought that open range we were looking at so good for b and b. The buyer did not get a good deal but they got a beautiful trailer. Shop around and go to rv trader to see how low they can go. Ask for Alex if you do go to b and b, but be aware of the high prices for same unit. read more

BUYER BEWARE......Just wanted to tell my story so others will think twice before buying from Gander or camping world...I purchased a 5th wheel in March 2020 I looked and looked and talked to the salesman multiple times telling him we were looking for a 5th wheel because we needed a bigger one because we liVe in it full time so we showed him the one we liked a Sabre RV Camper by Forest River he said that's perfect for living in so we went in to make the deal. The finance guy came in we did the paper work he said you can drop off your trailer... which we traded in..... and pick up your new one on Sunday so that's what we did. One guy started or paperwork. 4 days later we had a call that we don't have the loan can you get a co signer I was like really i would have taken it back but they had sold my 5th wheel already so my dad co signed... so another guy did it paperwork....a month and a half later after we get all the paper work we find out they messed it up and put my dad as the buyer and me the co signer we were pissed. At the time of signing paperwork they tell me don't worry if anything happens we will come to you and fix stuff because I told them I have nothing to pull it with I live in it full time. We have it now it started to rain the living room side leaked on the slide so they fixed it. The front door wouldn't shut so they put a door on but it was broken.... so then the ac isn't working correctly wasn't blowing out of the small vents I call them they say that's how it works i said oh they are for looks.... so they say if you can get it here we will bring it back as a courtesy so my dad tows it down. They say forestriver won't cover fixing the ac so they charge us so I call FR they say they never denied the claim they paid us back... the ac still isn't right but Gander says that's all they can do.......I was cooking in my stove top I had the glass top folded up I turned the gas off a few minutes later the first piece of glass blew up and glass went everywhere. I call my boyfriend to tell him what happened as soon as I hung up the second piece blew up. I called Gander they said glass isn't cover I called FR once and once qgain they said they never denied the claim. I got that fix and they brought out a new front door at that time that didn't close right. I would step on the 2nd step and it would pop open. When I called Gander about coming out to do the repairs they said no one told me that they would come to me to do the repairs I said your calling me a lier. The service manager was so rude to me. Well when we took the trailer to them to do the ac work they said they would bring it back to me as a courtesy if I could get it to them we agreed. I did a walk through with them when I dropped it off and when I picked it up. They bring it home the boys couldn't back it up I was screaming they almost hit a post a tree the cabin and the hill they finally get it in the spot and then we can't get the slides open once we do there was so much damage. I said happened as I cried. The boys said all we did is go into a gas station. The door locks failed on the fridge and freezer putting dents in them broke a board below the fridge stained the carpet with brown vinegar which went into the lower bedroom my counter top had damage. Then we went to the upper bedroom the closet doors were broke the night stand was in the floor the facia board was all scratched up. I called the service manager to tell him what happen all he said was..I did this as a courtesy I screamed and said get up here and see what happen he said again...I did this as a courtesy...I was crying I screamed get up here. When he got here he asked me if I put the locks on the doors the kid said Those are factory...... so he took pictures and left. Well about 6 to 8 months later the parts come in they send 1 guy out that can't finish all the work so then they have to wait for more parts....a few months go by they call we will be out I said if your not you have to let me know because I'm taking time off they say no problem we will be there.... they call me the day of we are not coming I said I took the day off again the service manager said my number 1 guy isn't here my 2nd guy is on a service call...... which they keep telling me we don't do service calls.... so I guess I'll send this other guy in but real comfortable with. So I said if he messes things up then what? He said we will deal with that when it comes......... when the tech showed up I told him when his boss said about him he said I am the number one guy.....he was so mad... They show up I ask if they have all the parts of course they don't once again..... so they put in the new recliner which was a little different color which I had no problem with but it had a hole in the arm rest so the tech noted that. We love our Travel Trailer! We would never purchase or take our unit into this company. 1. When we purchased and traded in our old unit we had issues with them paying off the loan. It took months and email/phone reminders that I am still being invoiced for payments. 2. We had an agreement about a certain receiver hitch at the time of purchase, they sent us the wrong one, we sent it back, received a second one that also was the wrong size my husband made it work and was able to figure something out. :( 3. Exactly one year after the purchase the units refrigerator goes out and calls a Code 10. We are on our way out camping going to be driving right by the place on a Wednesday. We call them to see if we could stop in and have them look at it and order the warranty repair, and were told we had to make an appointment for a week and a half out. Were told it would take about an hour to look at it and start the warranty papers. But not get it repaired because they would have to order the part and get approval on the warranty. That could of been done the week prior. Today was our appointment at 11am we would of left the house at 7am to get up there for the appointment. Due to the fires in Ca. we called and cancelled the appointment yesterday. 9am this morning they called and told us that it was going to take at least eight hours for them to LOOK at the unit. We would of been over half way there when we received this call had we not cancelled yesterday. PLUS they have the most unprofessional crew that do not communicate with each other. They never cancelled the appointment, they never informed the service department. I would never purchase a unit here again, I will never have them do any service repairs there ever. They act like they don't want to do any customer service after you make the unit purchase. Very unprofessional CUSTOMER SERVICE. We will also be notifying Jayco about this , because if you don't want to do the work, maybe Jayco should consider if they want you to be a Dealer for them! read more
