So I called around to get my new (used) boat trailer up and running. Brian was the only one that seems to know anything about trailers of all the trailer companies I called. He ordered the parts right away. They came in about a week and then his guy put together my trailer. there was a lot of hooking up new, wiring and new lighting and new axles and so-on and so. Everything came to the price. He told me it would be. I'm super happy I won't see him for a couple more years till everything gets rusty from putting it in the saltwater. I took my boat trailer in to have a swing away hitch put on. Than part was great, I took the trailer 2 mils home and parked it. 2 week later I drive to Auburn and the front brake is hot and smoking. I called KC this morning and he said we did the work correct and I should have asked for a brake flush and service, He did not advise me on this and said something could have been in the line, I would think when they bleed the brakes they should have caught this, I understand things happen. But the fact KC did not offer to help at all really bothers me!! read more

I bought my horse trailer here about 6 years ago, and they gave us a decent deal on exactly the trailer we wanted. They ordered it from the dealer and it was available for us to pick up within about 8 weeks. Just last week I had my trailer serviced and some damage repaired, and they gave me a decent quote for the work. The cost was pretty significant, but compared to the amount of hours of labor that was put into it, and the finished product, I think I got my money's worth. I would recommend them for annual trailer servicing and repairs. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the sales rep still recognized me even 6 years later. I got a used trailer at a fair price. I felt like the dude that runs the place is a little shady. He told me all the electrical worked - when I got the trailer home it was clear that it didn't. He told me the tires were new - they weren't. What irritated me the most is that they waited almost a month before they filed the paperwork to transfer the title. Went in on a Saturday to take a look at enclosed cargo trailers and ask some questions. Did plan on buying that day, however, not unless we could actually talk to a person. The first experience we had was the parking lot. Because there was so much work being done in their main parking area, there was no place for customers to park without double-parking, or interfering with trailer maintenance activity. We were given instructions to pull in and double park behind other customers; we opted to back out and park on the street. Went in to talk to someone, politely waved at the person who was helping somebody else and figured we'd get in the queue. While waiting, the person, who was having difficulty with her computer with the current customer's order, started loudly making comments about how people just didn't understand that Saturdays were too busy for people to come in and shop. They tried to encourage people to come during the week, but no, customers insisted on coming on a Saturday. It is evident that this business needs some help in their staffing and planning. We did give it more than one star because the stock was decent, we were able to walk around the property and look at trailers to get an idea of what we could be purchasing. However, we did purchase it at another business. If you already have a trailer, or know what you want, I think this business is for you. If you're a first-time trailer buyer, this was too intimidating of an experience for us to do business. read more

I don't want to repeat everyone else's negative comments about this place and be redundant. You can read the other low star reviews and draw a pretty accurate conclusion about how your experience at this place will go. I've tried to purchase a trailer from them on three separate occasions over a period of about 4-5 years hoping I would have a good experience at some point. My most recent issue was how hard it is just to get a hold of someone to ask some questions to about prices. The other turn off was the trailer I was interested in literally looked like it has sat on the lot for over a year with rust and all. It's disappointing because I'm from Maple valley and really want to support businesses in my area but I can't seem to click with this location. I think getting their lot organized and not looking like a tweakers paradise would go a long way. I'm not just saying that to take a jab at them or to be rude. I honestly mean it. We stopped into Trailers Northwest recently in search of a new cargo trailer. Korey was willing to show us around the very full lot and seemed to know his stuff and he was friendly. We checked out a few different enclosed aluminum frame trailers made by Duralite. Though the exterior of these trailers were nice we didn't care for the interior finishes done by the manufacturer on some of these trailers including super thin and very wavy luan panels on the interior walls and noticeably swollen and bulging Advantech 50 yr warrantied floor sections that came direct from the factory this way. The pressed on rows of skinny foam tape around the side entry door is the cheapest way known to man to attempt to seal around the door flange - and it won't last. The advertised price for the trailer seemed reasonable based on our research but the hidden $300 delivery fee that was sprung on us in the office (above and beyond the advertised price) was a deal killer - especially since the trailer had set on the lot for over 2 months. This combined with the weak fit and finish of the inside of the trailer sent us to a local competitor. We ended up buying at the large 35 year trailer dealership in Milton, WA and found a better quality 2015 trailer (same size) with many more factory upgrades that came standard. This trailer had a more superior fit and finish throughout for the same exact price with no delivery fee BS. Our new trailer has thick rubber weatherstrip around the side door, 3/4" painted flat floor, thicker interior paneling, tie down anchors, 66" of interior height (not just 60") , 24" diamond plate up front, factory vents etc. We got more trailer for the same buck by shopping elsewhere. read more

If you need a basic trailer maintenance this is an okay option. Attempting to purchase a trailer, repair a horse trailer and truck was a disappointing and tedious experience. When we drove our truck home after repair, they did take our trailer home however charged us for the towing of the truck back to their shop and for the additional repair. Seems like the place is understaffed and over committed to projects they can't finish to the quality they would like to be known for. read more

I took my horse trailer in for its annual checkup. Due to the thoroughness of the trailer inspection, it was found that I REALLY needed the brakes fixed, along with several minor things that would have caused me problems. The mats were pulled out of the trailer and the floor inspected to be sure it was in good condition. We wanted to give someone local our business, but when our trailer finally came in after 13 weeks there was a dent in a panel. We asked for our money back and we got it. For an hour at my interview he promised me $26 an hour, anything I need, He'll get, excellent benefits, state of the art shop, and 20 other straight up lies. Come to find out, he's months behind in work and his regular guy is always out sick. 3 weeks later, after I catch up all his back work, he says "I have no work' gotta let ya go." As a small local business owner we try to support our other local companies. Sad to say this place will never get another dime from me. Had my transmission rebuilt at a cost of over $7,000.00 and it did not last 3days. KC said something else failed was why the transmission was not working correctly and charged me another $2,500.00. After all that I drove the truck off the lot and it was hissing and blowing air with no power. KC informed two technicians drove it and looked at it. Had to u turn and come back. Popped the cab and the house were not connected. Had a tech fix this and again the truck made one trip before houses came lose. Owner asked me to bring it in so they could fix this. At this point I knew to cut my loses and had to just fix it myself. If you want to throw money away, get ripped off and get horrible work then this place is for you. I honestly can not even give them one star. I have never left a review in my life but could not let this one go. Well where do I start..... well I went into this shop if you want to call it that, when I got there, you drive into this trailer shop that has no parking at all no room, it looks like Tweakers parked everything, I felt Claustrophobic and then I waited for the sales people, and went out to look at a trailer and the wood on it was Warped and discolored and I asked if they had a new one and the sales person told me that it was brand new, l laughed but I needed a trailer ASAP so the sales person was super knowledgeable about the products sold but, then came the BS telling me that they only except cash or cashiers check or money order, because they got burned before by other people, Mind you I'm traveling across the country....that's when I just about herd enough, The sales person said I'll go check with my manager if I can make special arrangements..while this is happening I called another trailer place and told him my dilemma he said no problem, so I went back in and by this time my 2 vehicles had blocked me in with not even a 2 foot space to try to back up or anything so I basically couldn't leave moral of the story is, customer service is great but everything else is absolutely a mess Especially the yard where they keep their trailers if you've got all day to spend and wait for them to try to get your trailer out of parking lot and figure out which way is up be my guest. read more

My husband brought my horse trailer in for a "tune up" in preparation for sale. He made the mistake of telling them what he was doing, and they promptly offered him a absurdly low price for it. Since it was my trailer, he wasn't going to make a comment one way or another, but when he came home, he relayed their offer. I told him to tell them, "No thanks". When I went to pick up my trailer, they charged me ~$900 for a basic tune up (they replaced a couple of light bulbs). It was outrageous. I've got bills from Kirshner Trailer Sales when I first bought the trailer for a tune up (including greasing the axle, light bulbs, etc. AND installing a distribution hitch) for $400. I have an itemized bill of what Kirshner did, including time involved (1.5 hours for hitch, 55 minutes for the remainder of work). Earlier in 2002, when I first bought the trailer, I had the floor replaced at White Horse Trailer Sales for $325. Granted, this was 2002, but prices have not increased by THAT much. This place just gave me an outrageous bill. Insult to injury was that they didn't catch that the back upper door hinge was "frozen" and wouldn't open or close. I had to bring it back to get that fixed and they charged me for that, too! Good job, guys. I wanted to know this trailer was safe to put a horse in when I sold it, and the reality is that I didn't know if I could trust them to ensure that. I ended up selling the trailer for 4X what Trucks NW offered, and in the first week to the first person that came to see it. I had many calls on it, it was underpriced at 4X. My husband's mistake was telling them why he brought it in. They were going to get their money out of it one way or another. BEWARE! read more

Came in with a pretty busted up front-end of a trailer. They went through what all needed to be done and told me what the cost was going to be up-front. Only problem is I never got a call back with when it was done. They were very friendly though and happy to help me get everything ready to go once I got out the door from paying...including jumping on the tailgate of my truck to get the trailer hitched when the truck was on a hill trying to hitch up to the trailer. read more

Do not recommend, they add fees on top of their low prices to offset their expenses. Running a business costs money either price your inventory honestly up front or customers will buy elsewhere. Do not bring your diesel here. After getting my truck back (told 3 times it'd be done tomorrow) I inspected the work they did and it was atrocious! The excuses I was given for it continually not being done were clearly a lie. It's obvious they didn't know what they were doing and I got my truck back in worse shape then I dropped it off in. Then they had the audacity to try to charge me for things they broke during the repair. Expensive lies and garbage work. Dad and son run the place and they have no clue as to normal business practices. Things like answering the phone, returning calls left on their voice mail, following up with what they say they'll do. I bought a trailer, they said 3 weeks delivery, it took over 4 weeks. It was missing the ramps and they hadn't noticed that. When the ramps came in, they were the wrong size. I told them that on a Wed in the late afternoon and again on the next Friday in the morning. Next Monday I called the manufacturer direct, they hadn't heard from these guys yet! I've left over 10 voice mails with them over the past 7 weeks (no more than once a day), only one has been returned. read more

It's been 6 months since I bought my horse trailer & the stud wall that would be "no problem" to order & install has yet to arrive. I have given up calling as it was a total waste of my time. When Casey bothered to return my call it was just to make more excuses & empty promises. Really, how hard is it to order a stud wall from the manufacturer for a brand new trailer? Now I am stuck with a trailer that I cannot use to haul my studs in unless I haul them alone or with an empty spot between horses. Kinda defeats the purpose of having a 3 horse trailer. One evening I announced to my husband that I needed a truck and trailer to haul my horse around since my best friend moved to another state and my other friend's trailers are too small for my jumbo horse- We searched for the right truck, my husband being the research guru that he is, wanted to make sure the truck we were looking at could actually pull jumbo horse around. I called my local trailer dealer, Trailer's Northwest and spoke with Brandon- he assured me the truck we were looking at would have no issues considering the type of hauling I was going to do. Then we found our trailer, and I called Brandon again and asked a bunch of questions- he invited me to come down to the trailer lot and look at some of the problems used trailers can have- he showed me various trailers he was working on and what to look out for- He didn't try to keep me from buying a trailer somewhere else, he offered support and good information to keep my horse and me safe- Of course when I get the trailer home it will immediately go to Brandon for inspection- I would recommend this business to anyone looking for trailer service, questions about trailers, or towing in general- Brandon is really helpful and knowledgeable and will try to keep you out of trouble if you are a newbie in the truck and trailer world. read more

Purchase a utility trailer about 1 year ago and just noticed one of the tires had bad spots on it. We only took the trailer once to Utah and back. We were told by the dealer yesterday that they have the manufacturer put non radial tires on the trailers and they don't balance them. We were also just told that the tires only have a 90 warranty, and we should not go over 55-60 mph. None of this was disclosed to us at the time of purchase. Beware and ask questions before you buy. I would give negative stars if that were possible. I had been trying to get my trailer repaired for four months through these folks, and was given date after date of when the part would come in. They never did call me to tell me the part was not in the shipment they said it would be on - I always had to call them and then they'd give me another date. This went on until I finally mentioned that this was really taking a long time...and the employee just laid in to me, that i was told I could pay for drop shipment. (which they did -- but that was not what i was going to say. I just wanted them to return a dang phone call!) BUT He would not let me finish my sentence, he was pushy and defensive, and when I tried to tell him I just needed a phone call he was still rude and defensive. well one persons bad experience can't influence mine ,I recently bought a used horse trailer on consignment at trailers northwest and with used its not your normal everyday purchase . I had to find my own financing, ok and did that. next had to come up with a price I new what I can afford and I called with an offer told them I can do this much but that will have to include trailer, tax and lisc. and the hitch (going to gooseneck). They submitted my offer don't know if they had to convince the consigner but he accepted it and they did a full service to make sure its safe going down the road.
