They were soo informational and I left feeling confirmed that we knew what was wrong with my car, and that I could get it fixed for only $400 (that included the diagnostic fee). I was surprised and elated to hear that it would cost me much less than I feared. The owner was so exceptional. She called me twice that Friday night to update me on my car and literally was patient, educated me, asked me really thorough follow-up questions, and she wasn't even trying to schtick me for anything! Basically, after examining my car and telling her the backstory of what happened, she was able to come to a conclusion and I left the next morning only paying for the diagnostic fee. They are incredible. Literally, I left feeling so confident in their work ethic and business model. As they worked on my vehicle they were up front and transparent about all pricing, pointed out other issues to bring to my attention, but were never pushy or up-selling about any of the additional maintenance recommended for my vehicle. A new battery for a BMW is not cheap. I knew this going in. But I felt good about my experience at Finesse and that my car was in expert hands. I was taken aback by how friendly the person was who helped me out and how easy they made it. Quite a relief. I received a call a week later to tell me the nuts were there and I made my new tires appointment, and throughout finesse made it easy. They told me I could come down anytime and they would put the new lug nuts on for me at no charge, which meant I could make the tires appointment any time. I can tell you this was a new experience for me - in the past I generally felt at the mercy of the shop and the particular folks who were working that day. At finesse I felt like I was in good hands. Their relaxed atmosphere, the amazing customer lounge with snacks and coffee - very welcoming. The communication was clear and helpful throughout. Finally, don't assume that your customers are idiots. No, really! In order to jump start a 2015 Avalon hybrid with a dead battery, you really do need to access the battery in the trunk. And the trunk needs to be opened by pulling the wire from within the cabin. And the battery is in the side quarter panel not under the rug with the spare tire.
