Just so you know, all these reviews about required appointments are outdated! That was during Covid and no longer applies. I had a great experience here getting my trailer. We weren't sure exactly what size and specs we needed for our mobile coffee project. Brandon, Devon, and Dustin worked with us to figure it out. They were flexible, fair, and didn't apply any pressure. Overall really great experience. Would recommend to anyone in the market for a high quality trailer for a fair price. read more

Im going to give this 3 stars because the employees are great! What is NOT GREAT - also frustrating, a waste of time, annoying, and gets me SUPER pissy! Its the purchase process!! They use this stupid service called UTA - a canadian processing center. After you purchase via ACH you have to call this dumb service and give them a Reference #. Well, that doesn't sound so bad does it, and the answer should be no. However, you have to call them and are subjected to whoever is on the other line, I have been on hold while they verify my purchase- yes, actually writing this while on hold- for over 15 minutes - for what? After looking around the previous day and seeing other trailers, I went to my scheduled appointment with Trailers Plus. They had a better selection and the one that fit my needs. They where easy to talk to and showed me the trailer he thought best fit my needs. While looking it over it was obvious it was a better constructed unit than the ones I viewed the previous day. we quickly agreed on a price then I started adding extra's. Got that hammered out and I was getting ready to leave thinking I would come back in a couple days. Oh no he said we'll get those items installed and I will be taking home today. We have spent almost two weeks researching, then reserving, getting financing and requesting pick up date for a trailer. I called in to schedule when I was back in town and was clear what our needs were. The next day my son whom is coordinating this with me calls and says they called him telling him they needed to reschedule today because they had over booked... we were obviously confused so called in and iterated when and what time our appointment was suppose to be. We were told someone made a mistake so could not pick up the trailer until the day after I had said we would be in town to pick it up. Then we called the manager and he gave a date a week later even. He shifted blame to the "call center" and not only has no sense of customer service and making things right he was condescending in conversation. Offering no options to help make our dates requested, we decided not to purchase from these guys. If this is how they handle a sale I can't imagine how horrible their service would be with servicing the trailer or if there were issues. In this day and age your service is going to be key to your success, and these guys need an education on what that looks like. You may be busy now but when your not..... food for thought. My recommendation if you need something from this company try Tacoma.... To Anyone Who Would Like to Know, My experience with Trailer Plus has ended on a sour note after they provided a Dump Trailer for just under 10k and less then 2 weeks later and the first dump run the equipment failed. I had to unload a 7x16 dump trailer by hand while others stood in awe why I am unloading a brand new 2020 trailer and no simply just dump and go. That day (4.1.2020) I called Trailer Plus and let them know of the issue and told them I was bringing the trailer back to them to fix. After hearing nothing for days, I called on Saturday (4.4.2020) to try and get some type of communication of what was wrong, the employee I talked with had no answers and said he would need to check with the tech who fixed. Personally, I am a little upset at this point that someone didn't look right into what was wrong with my Trailer the next day and give me a courtesy call to let me know the next steps. On (4.7.2020) I emailed in about my concerns and that since I didn't feel comfortable with the product I purchased and the support from Trailer Plus being "We are not going to charge you for this repair" like why the heck would you mention a charge to someone who bought a 10,000 dollar trailer that broke less than 2 weeks later? In conclusion after asking to return the product for a full refund I was denied and again told "we fixed the issue at no cost, the issue being a poorly charged battery that they didn't replace, only charged back up like it should have been the first time. I was offered no compensation or alternative, perhaps a different product or an additional warranty but a clear come get your Trailer we have done what we will.... They helped me hook it up and I have the proper tools and right size of hitch which I didn't have. I also bought a trailer lock which makes me feel very secure. Yes, lets shop at safeway after making an appointment. You want to look at trailers not over the phone. "What is the head heigth when I'm standing in it?" Then they fail to send you a link so you can put a deposit on a trailer you can't see that costs $10,000. "Oh sorry someone already bought it." A completely arrogant mentality. I had made an appointment, which is ridiculous to shop for a trailer by the way. They contacted me about coming in earlier, I agreed, dropped everything I was doing, got there and sat outside the gate for half an hour calling them repeatedly and ringing the bell. When someone finally came to the gate, I was told, "Sorry, looks like we double booked you, you'll have to make another appointment and come back later." Not a chance, I went to Signal Trailers right down the street and found the exact same trailer with none of the hassle. read more

Update: Talked to district manager was given same staffing excuses and was told they don't do returns but will do warranty repairs. After trying to explain my frustration was told he would make some calls and call me back... Never got a return call. This trailer was welded so poorly I am scared to tow it. Had friend who is a certified welding instructor look at it and was told not to tow it. I will be getting trailer inspected by welding inspector and dot. Almost every weld is bad. Wiring so bad I am scared it will cause electrical fire. I am moving in a little over a week! No way they could completely rebuild this trailer in time. Now I have to go buy another trailer from a reputable company. Then I will need to open a lawsuit to try to recoup my money on a unusable and very unsafe trailer. Can't believe companies like this exist! I don't even know where to begin.... First they didnt return my first call. They wanted to charge me shop labor to unscrew one ball from one of my receivers and put it in another due to me bringing wrong size wrench. Was told it would be a "liability" to borrow their crescent wrench. Pretty annoyed at being nickeled and dimed after spending so much money on the trailer. Manager was VERY unhelpful and kept using staffing as excuse. Only after threats of calling corporate did the tune change. They kept the gate closed and wanted to have my wife open and close it when she returned with a new ball. During inspection the running lights didn't work so had to wait on repairs. Was "given a free" hitch lock for the inconvenience but after looking at breakdown I was charged for it. Ended up taking 3+ hrs to pick up my trailer. After getting it home and further inspecting I found the wiring so hacked together its a fire hazard. Overall build quality was a joke, decking crooked, dents, runs in paint, pinstripes not even completed, and ramps installed so low I scape them leaving a standard driveway apron. Now I have to take time off work to work with the odd hours to return the trailer and find a new one. I am also on a time crunch due to moving in two weeks. Wish I would have read the reviews. Pulled in to potentially buy a trailer, it was 3:30pm, the gate was locked, followed the directions on the sign saying to call. We called, made an appointment for 4pm. The woman on the phone said a man would come out and unlock the gate, maybe even before 4pm....so we sat and waited. Around 3:45 another car showed up and did the same thing we did, got out of his car, read the sign, and called. Around 3:50 a man came out and opened the gate, he let the other car in and began to close the gate, we pulled forward, thinking he was going to let us in too, he approached our car and said you cannot come in without an appointment. We told him we have an appointment at 4pm. He said is your name Glen? We said no, Its under .....he said sorry you do not have an appointment, and I am not letting you in. We said maybe you can check with the girl who answers phones, because we did make an appointment. He said it's a call center, and we only have one appointment scheduled. (Very rudely) I said, I think there has been some sort of miscommunication, it's ok we can wait. He rudely said " ha you will have to wait till Wednesday" and walked away. 8-8-20 4pm read more

When I was given a refund after waiting hours for a trailer I purchased the day before n was refused service they charged me an almost 600$ "restocking" fee!! When calling to ask for it back was called horrible names.. hung up on... and ignored! Took them to court to get my money back after months and won! Their pathetic contract is idaho not even washington! Owner is beyond the rudest person I've ever come across! Made up some mandatory 10% right to take what didnt belong to him!! I had an appointment to check out a trailer and to potentially purchase one. Pulled up to a locked gate and followed the instructions. Was met at the gate and was told my wife and I had to wear a mask to enter. I said I would wear one but my wife with a Medical condition would stay in our truck. I was told very bluntly that we were not allowed to enter unless my wife put a mask on regardless of her condition. If this is how they treat customers before a sale, I hate to imagine how you'll be treated after a sale.I do not recommend them and will tell everyone I know of my experience. Googled this business for there hours. The return search came up with there site in a small box. Says hours were 11-5. Get there 1107. Gate closed , called headquarters. They patched me through to this store. I said hey im here to buy a trailer. " do you have a appt?" I said no your hours are 11-5. I bought a trailer from these guys in Marysville. I thought it was straight forward when I paid cash. 3 weeks later I still have not received my license plate in the mail. I called and left a message on their voicemail. They didn't call back. I called again and spoke to a female that didn;t know what she was doing. She said she call me back. Two days later I called again and talked to a person that had no idea about Washington state laws. He obviously was from another state and was speaking for a location that he knew nothing about. He said he would have them give me a call back. Still nothing. I hate leave bad reviews but this location in Marysville is pretty awful. You don't need my information to correct anything. This is about basic good business practices: Figure out when you're going to be open each week, post those hours, and then reliably be open during them. If there's a dire emergency preventing every single manager or employee from being there, even on overtime, then put a sign to that effect on the gate. Otherwise, you may be busy as bees internally but you're also doing a disservice to every customer, new or existing, who may have needed service or wanted to look at a trailer. I would give zero stars if I could. I contacted Trailers Plus about a warranty repair to the roof of our Interstate Trailer. It was extremely difficult to get a hold of anyone, taking several phone calls before one was returned by Chris, the assistant store manager. I explained the situation about the trailer, and specifically stated we wanted to get it taken care of before it started leaking all over the inner liner and what we carried in the trailer. Chris' response was, and I quote, "Yes! Thank you for that!" I made arrangements to drop our trailer off the following Tuesday, but sent pictures ahead so as to expedite any decision process. Fast forward to this past Thursday. We get a call stating that the trailer was ready, but they wouldn't do anything to the roof because it was considered "iron deposits from the water" and that we should store the trailer so it has good runoff... It sits on a 30 degree slope. It doesn't make a lot of sense to us since we get the same rain on everything, and the roof of the trailer was the only thing that is rusting around here.... We spent a large majority of the day Saturday going to collect our trailer, to be told that rust wasn't actually rust (?), and that "if the alloy was deteriorating, it would be turning white"; and that it would actually have to be leaking for them to do anything about it... Something I had SPECIFICALLY asked about before we ever brought the trailer in!! Trailers Plus is supposedly an Interstate factory store. Their lifetime warranty on the roof is apparently only good if there is the potential for damage caused by even a small leak... but it has to leak before they will do anything about it. Don't waste your time trying to exercise that lifetime warranty. You'll be a lot happier grinding and resealing your own roof, and you won't waste precious time, money, fuel & blood pressure on Trailers Plus. I also highly recommend researching other trailer manufacturers and purchase somewhere else, as Interstate trailers are not worth the money that they cost. read more

We are shopping for a 10k tilt deck trailer in the 16-18' range. I had seen this place advertise on Craigslist and they are a few miles from our house so while we were out this past weekend I decided that we should stop in and take a look. After walking the lot to see if they had something there that would suit what we were looking for. After coming up empty on our search, we went into the office to see if they had something they could show us... Well, there were three sales people working that day (that I could tell), one was on the lot with a customer and the other two were in the office. One was doing paperwork for a sale and the other was tending to someone else. We waited for a few minutes and couldn't get any sort of acknowledgement we were even there. Just before leaving, there was another couple waiting that said that had been waiting there an hour (I'm guessing that was exaggerated, but all they were after was a price on a trailer). We gave it maybe 5 minutes, and after not receiving any sort of acknowledgement, we walked. Granted they had other customers there and I wouldn't expect them to drop everything to help us, but a simple "Sorry, we are busy at the moment, we'll be with you in a few as soon as I finish up here" or something to that effect would have gone a long way. But nope, nothing. Not a word, or a glance, nothing. So we walked out and won't be back. There are two trailer builders down in Chehalis, I have talked to both (via email) now and found them to be responsive, one of them will get my business. I didn't want to travel that far to get a trailer, but I simply won't support such poor service. All that said, if you are looking for a place with low pressure sales, I guess this is it. I definitely recommend Trailers Plus. This was the first place we went in our search for a trailer, and we found exactly what we were looking for, and right in our price range to boot. Barbara was courteous and knowledgeable, despite telling us she hadn't been working there for very long; and all the other guys were great, too! We were able to put a hold on the trailer while we waited to get some funds transferred, which was convenient - they didn't pressure us one bit. Once it was all said and done, they were thorough in going over maintenance and safety points, and made sure everything was in working order before we left the lot. read more

I am completely flabbergasted. My husband called 3 times this evening, confirming their hours and let them know there was a trailer we saw online and were coming in to purchase. Not just look at, 100% purchase. He confirmed with the man on the phone that the trailer was still there, and that he was in the truck on the way there. He arrived at the stated time, which was 30 minutes before closing and the man tells him when he gets there, "sorry we are closed, the paperwork takes about 45 minutes to complete".....are you kidding me? Based on the other reviews, this seems to be a consistent problem, and they clearly have no sense of customer service or any interest in selling trailers. So congratulations, you could have had a repeat customer (we purchased a smaller trailer from you three years ago and were upgrading it) to someone who will gladly pay more from someone else rather than give you repeat business. Thank you for wasting our time driving all the way out there for nothing!! In this day and age you would think business owners would have enough common sense to understand the importance of customer service and the power of social media. Watch out for the spare tire trick-if your trailer does not have a spare tire attached be sure it is installed BEFORE you sign any papers and that it is specified in the paperwork, or be prepared to buy a new one. Also note that there is a three percent surcharge for using your credit card! And dont expect any help from the corporate office- as everyone there is either 'on the phone' 'in a meeting' 'at lunch' or 'has left for the day'- sounds like a day in Oz. I have bought new trailers before from Trailersplus at this location in Marysville and they always contained a spare. I was asked to pay cash but did not because i suspected my 'spare' was the spare the salesman had removed from my new trailer and the cash was likely headed for his own pocket. TRAILER MINUS I bought a trailer, Curt hitch and curt ball joint. Had it all installed by trailer plus one year ago and drove it 1200 miles from Phoenix to Seattle, went over a speed bump and the trailer popped off the hitch, so I thought I broke it myself. So I parked it and left it till I had the time and money to fix it so I Brought it to this store recently to get the trailer fixed but Come to find out they installed in Phoenix a 1 7/8 ball joint, the trailer required a 2" (This store even charged me for a new ball joint SHAMEFUL!!!) I called their corporate office and they lie to me and tell me they don't sell Curt ball joints? I bought a Curt hitch? So I guess I just brought a ball joint from them then took it off put a smaller one on on purpose then loaded my two small children right behind the trailer with a couple of thousand pounds behind them and drove it for a couple of states? I called them to see if they would help me fix the scratches on the back of the vehicle that were caused by the trailer sliding into it when it popped off, I'm not even asking for any money for when it popped off the hitch while I was unloading and fell scuffing and bruising my shoulder or the risk my children took, or even when it popped off at 55 miles an hour and I was able to slow down with it chained to my vehicle, I still have trouble driving with the trailer cause I can't focus on the road, I can't stop looking in my mirror fearing it will pop off... so if you want to buy from this company and have an issue you have been warned! read more

Customer service for repair parts is not very supportive. My trailer that I purchased in 2010 was in dire need of new electric brakes on all four wheels. I called on May 06, and several other times thereafter, each time leaving the call center person with my contact info. On June 08 I received a call from Derek at the Marysville location, leaving a VM apologizing for the several day delay in response. My husband recently decided to purchase a trailer to haul his band equipment in. After looking at several places he purchased a trailer at Trailers Plus by Smokey Point. BUT when he got it home it barely wouldn't fit in the garage. He had already paid for the license and thought we were stuck...but he called Aaron Ortiz, the manager, and they were great. They took the trailer back, called the state and got them to suspend the license application and custom ordered a new trailer to fit in our garage. Of course we were pretty much at their mercy but they not only didn't take advantage of us...they gave us a very fair price on the custom trailer. Aaron and his entire staff were terrific to deal with, friendly, helpful, experts, and very fair. They wanted to raise it $200 or about 10%. After spending about a half hour on the phone with their managers in Lacey they still refused to honor the price and I left.
