Now that I'm home looking at the trailer much more closely, some things don't add up. There are small streaks, scratches, and other markings on the surfaces of the outside metal material on the top side. There are streaks in the white surfaces around the trailer that can't be removed. For a brand-new, day-old trailer, this trailer isn't looking new. I'm pretty sure they sold me a used trailer. See the videos and photos. I'll be updating this review with everything else that I found disturbing. I have poor vision and the sun was blaring so I took my sales man's word. Worst experience, don't want to finance you but push you to go for rent to own Also, if you're in the floor, hard to get help, was there for over an hour and the guy (Mike) that was on the floor didn't get acknowledged so I called while they're in person and he responded with a very rude attitude so I left, after leaving another self person Kevin messaging me if I could come back after waiting so long at the store trying to make sale after I lost interest!!! A few reasons why I didn't end up buying a trailer here. The built quality on the trailers are very poor. You could stop by in person and check it out. Yourself seems we're horrible and weather strips on the doors were peeling off multiple trailers I checked out. I'm glad I stopped by in person to check everything out before going through , So check out inland Empire trailers, it's another distributors with a better quality yes, some more expensive but worth the money read more

Been trying to get my trailer in the shop for about 2 weeks now. Seems like after the sale they can care less about the customer.

This place is amazing - they sell loads of trailer types - but they manufacture the Interstate Brand - so they offer amazing deals on their own: 6 years warranty tires 5 years warranty on roof 2 free inspections where they pack the bearings and check the trailer (included) My trailer has vents, tie downs, welded on door, one piece aluminum room, stabilizers and ramp door. They sell 4x6 to 81/2"x 24!!! Kevin has helped me for weeks - to make sure I bought the perfect one. And in the store Zachary helped too. The trailers are excellent - and the chaps at the site are very knowledgeable, professional and friendly too. I love TrailerPlus Redlands. read more

I have mix feeling about TrailerPlus. The good: 1. Trailers are priced well and offer competitive pricing . 2. They called back and follow up accordingly. Thank you Kevin. The bad: 1. TrailerPlus will not give you over the phone pricing. You have to " meet with a sale manager" 2. I initially i called to get BASIC info , but the young lady over phone wanted my first name , last , email , phone .... etc. i want to buy a trailer not apply for a job! And , she refuse to help me because i refuse to provide everything... 3. I got the feeling that associates were only interested in the sale and not my needs.... 4. The trailer i drove 40 mins to buy was sold 5 min before i showed up.( this was my fault , i should have reserved it initially) however, once they knew i no longer wanted to buy anything else i was ghosted and never met my sales rep after 30 min and "with an appointment". The truth is that i drove somewhere else where i was treated with undivided attention ( with out an appointment) the rep explained the benefits about a 7x14 and and i ended up purchasing a 7x14 trailer for a bit more but with better overall specs. The biggest disappointment is that i have been invested in trailer plus for over 3-4 days just for them to drop the ball. read more

This place is very stereotypical, I say that with certainty because some idiot with a lifted 2017 chevy Silverado who was the guy to "help" me was showing me around. And I needed a trailer for my brand new can am 2023 at the time. So I was looking for a 16ft trailer x 8-9ft wide, so he showed me a few of that size and I have to say they are over priced NO JOKE. One trailer was all metal and had Ramps for $7,500 haha no joke and a metal/wood floor one for $5,200 and only had a ramp up door which was literally 3ft long and too steep to load anything on their. So it came time to check out financing and I had to get my mother to use her credit since she has a house and 3 paid off vehicles, which you know would make sense because she has a great credit history at a standing of 838 credit score. Guess what? She didn't even get approved is what the idiot told us. I bet you $100 he never even bothered to put her info or even try to sell us a trailer because we didn't "look" like we were serious. Well guess what that can am is under my mothers name and you know that these utility side by sides are very hard to get approved. So we said "okay thank you and we will go somewhere else". We drove right to a family owned business names FRACTAL TRAILERS in Bloomington, we checked out their CUSTOM ONLY WORK and guess what the same exact trailer I could have gotten made to be exactly like the trailer plus all metal would cost me an easy $4,200! $4,200 for a all metal trailer and custom made to how I want it. And guess what? As a 20 year old with no credit history I was approved with 3.7% apr. I recommend to go to FRACTAL TRAILERS they have instagram under that name! The best of the best, they aren't eager with their pricing and the owner is a very nice guy! Very good people to make business! I'll provide pictures on the bottom! read more

Good price advertised to get you in, then they try to tack all kinds of stuff on top. First guy helping me was cool, was going pretty quick, then their software "locks" them out of their system to finalize everything so I can leave. So I have to sit around for 30 minutes so they can print out the paper work. So expect at least 3 hours when coming here. And sitting at a gate and ringing a bell for them to come out and open a gate is kind of odd. Slow system here, but when I had them take off the extras (1 item they claimed they could not take off, even though it is a bolt on piece) it lowered the price down. Today is April 18, 2024 and I'm starting my search for pricing and features for an enclosed trailer for the purpose of hauling motorcycles and equipment as well as possible camping options. My first stop was at TrailersPlus in Redlands. I arrived about 5:10pm and the entry gate was still open. So was the door to the sales office. After looking at a few models near the entry, I stepped into the sales office to seek expert assistance with the products. I was greeted not with a Hello my name is ______, how can I help you?...but with a "Hey, we're finishing up for the day and closing in 15 minutes." There were 2 representatives behind the counter and not once was I greeted properly with a name or any polite respect indicating a welcome and interset in selling a product. I asked to see the stock and info on 6x12 and 7x14 enclosed trailers. The response was "Yeah we're closing, can you come back tomorrow?" No, here's my name and business card, can I give you a call or make an appointment or anything of that nature. Horrible customer service and one less sale for the company. Called this place to have my trailer. ( The trailer was bought new at this place ). When you call the phone number for this place, you get a central office that answers all calls for trailers plus. I told them what I wanted, and they said they would send me a text and to answer all their questions, and they would get back to me. I said all I wanted was the price of the parts. They refused to help me in any way until I complied with their text demands. This place is absolutely a big joke. I don't have time for their games. They don't care what they sell as long as you buy it. I asked if the trailer lock that they had is theft proof and little Jackson, my sales rep, assured me with confidence that it has yet to be broken into, so I bought it. Jackson lied. When I got home I found out that the Trimax hockey puck lock is easily picked or drilled through. I wasted $50 at Trailersplus on a crap lock because I trusted them. Also, they tried to sell me all sorts of overpriced mediocre accessories. For example, the spare tire was built into the invoice, of course Jackson wanted me to buy it and offered me a discount. It was overpriced so I asked for a revised invoice without the spare tire. But the invoice without the spare tire, had an additional $22 charge that was not on the original invoice: "Paper PDI Review Fee".. I didn't want to argue over $22 but that's so shady and gross. Shame on those thieves. The quality of the cargo trailer that I bought is mediocre at best, even I could tell that they cut corners to save money. For example they used pieces of wood panels instead of one full sheet, the inside of my trailer looks like Frankenstein. I asked Jackson and he said "you know wood is expensive these days" oh yeah, Jackson? So are your trailers. I know that it's hard to find trailers these days due to the pandemic creating such high demand for them, I had to drive an hour to this location to buy the last one they had in stock. So if you end up buying one of their trailers, don't buy any of their crap accessories because you can find better ones for cheaper elsewhere. Know that they are thieves who only want your money and do not care for quality, service, and have no integrity. I wish for them to get sued for their shady practices and false sales pitches. P.S. Notice the generic response by M.C. B.S - patronizing apology and a dismissive 'unfortunately I am not able to locate your information in our system'. Another guy told him to write up a quote and he'd give me the best price he could do on it. I tried buying a trailer but they made it so difficult I decided nope, not from these guys. First, I called to inquire about a 7x14 standard cargo trailer, which they had, and got a bottom price. I was quoted what I thought was fair so I had my office call them to do the deal over the phone/fax/email whatever works so I don't have to spend a minimum of an hour and a half at the store. You know, getting the paper work done ahead of time. Apparently they couldn't, moreover, the price the gave us the second time was higher. I called and finalized a priced, told them its a cash deal and had an appointment. I arrived during my appointment window only to see their gate closed and locked. A note taped to the gate had a number to call, so I called. No one answered. I can see employee's in the office and no one's answering the phone. I drove an hour to get out there and now myself and one other is waiting like idiots. These guys are suppose to be opened. Anyways, I hopped the fence and went to the office to find out what's going on. The moment I entered the store, Zak started chewing me out for hopping the gate. I told him then answer your phone. The sign says to call, I called and no one answered! I drove an hour, I have an appointment and your gate is locked and no communication. I asked him if they are open for business, he said yeah, then I said again to answer your phone. I wasn't very happy but I figured I'm there, lets just get the trailer and move on. Well apparently Zak's feelings got hurt so I'm guessing he went to the back room to sulk and had one of the other guys to help me, once that guy was finished with another person. I finally said I'm out. No disrespect to the kid that was told to help me. I don't understand these guys. I can buy a new car/truck with all paperwork completed before picking up but with these guys a simple cargo trailer and they can't. Obviously just employees. They don't seem to care. Update - Received a call from the District Manager and they were able to get me the trailer on Monday, their day off. This is a great trailer and the price was great too. Thank you for correcting this issue. I understand that doing business during Covid is difficult and it would be easier if we could just have our stores open. I called them to purchase a trailer and Levi from their call center told me that the last appointment was at 4pm on Saturday. I had to make a phone call to make sure I could make that appointment. I called back 10 mins later and they said the manager decided to close the store early and they were not taking any new appointments. They have just lost the easiest sale because I need to use the trailer at 6am Tuesday morning and they are not open on Mondays. Never buy a thing from these lying crooks! Seemed like a nice place to buy a trailer until......... I purchased one one of the more pricey trailers on the lot, an "Interstate Load Runner" they seemed reasonably knowledgeable about trailers. I later did a little price checking only to find that I could have purchased a comporable trailer at half the cost. When I got home I found out a few things that distressed me about the trailer. First, they used an extremely thin would around the top of the inside of the trailer, it is so thin the slightest pressure will cause it to snap. I wouldn't be surprised if it was made of Bolsa the way it flexed, the next was that the trailer I purchased didn't come without a spare, it had a place for one, omplete with nuts to secure it. I drove back out to the lot the next week and waited half an hour before one of the only two people who were working there that day came back from lunch. When he finally arrived he got on the phone and I over heard his conversation about having given their customer the wrong spare tire and they would have to change it for him and seemed to being arguing with the person on the phone about having to give him a discount on a new spare. Once off the phone he looked at me and I was told that I would have to wait "at least another 45 minutes" to buy a spare. After raising my voice and complaining the two other customers agreed he should get me a spare tire as they had plenty of time to wait for there new trailers to be processed before they could even pay for them. Given my experience I truly hope they will reconsider buying anything from these people. Now you would think that a spare tire is normally something that comes with a new trailer, like a car allways would havr, but apparently not here, I can only assume they must be considered unnecessary accessories. That's cool, whatever, I don't mind paying for a spare, maybe that's just how they do things with trailers. Now mind you, there was a message on the chalk board behind the counter saying they had spare tires 50% off. Another message popped up on a display saying they had spares starting at $75, then guy left for two minutes and came back with a new spare tire at which time he started to ring me up for $250! I asked him why it was so expensive, the board behind him said half off on spares. He replied by saying that you only get that discount at the time of purchase. Then I asked why I didn't get the 20% off the sales rep had told me I would get on all accessories up to a month after the purchase seeing that spare tires must be an accessory because they didn't come with the a new trailer purchase and he just looked at me with a blank stair. read more

This place is a joke when it comes to being presentable. I was in the market for a utility trailer. I called and the salesman, who will remain nameless, asked if I had been shopping around. I said yes and they worked on matching the deal that I presented from Big Tex in Beaumont. I said I would stop by on the way to Big Tex to look at the trailer they had in stock, and then would make my decision to buy from them or Big Tex. I arrived and immediately was surprised at the lack of care for their storage yard and the trailers they carried. The two trailers I looked at, both had broken light lenses and were filthy. I understand, these are trailers, but if you know someone is coming...you should at least make it presentable. I told the salesman that I was going to go to Big Tex to look at their trailer before I made a decision and thanked him for his time. He seemed irritated and said that he worked so hard to match the price. I thanked him again and said that it was my money and I was entitled to shop around. I made my way to Big Tex and it was night and day. The trailers were clean and the one I wanted was already pulled to the front waiting for me to look at! I purchased an 18' Carrier trailer. The total weight was rated at 5500 pounds. Upon loading my 1,875 pound can MX3 the mesh area on the liftgate collapsed. I called trailer plus and I was informed days later that Carrier refused to honor the warranty as it only sustains a 1,000 pound guarantee on the tailgate. Kind of hard to imagine as the trailer is rated at 5,500. Needless to say I'm not satisfied with Carrier brand, as I have since had further issues with the spring supports on the ramp. The manager Tony took it upon himself, had me come in and between him and his staff personally Welded L channels in the damaged area and completely repaired the damage in an hour. read more

Supposedly they have the trailer I am interested in but no one will answer the phone at Redlands or they claim nobody is available. If you call you might get Utah you might get Fillmore but you'll never get Redlands. How can a retail store not have a direct phone number listed. Update. After my yelp review they (Trailer company)contacted me trying to address my concerns. I thought that was good of them. I reserved a trailer on a Monday finally after waiting months and months and it said I had one week to pick it up. Kevin called me on Wednesday to set up an appointment and I told him I'm just checking measurements and would call him back. I called on Friday to set up a time to go ahead and purchase the trailer. No one answered on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I finally get ahold of Kevin on Tuesday and he says we have to take you off of reserve and then you can reserve it again because it expired. I said I've been calling you since Friday but no one answers. He says he needs to take me off of reserve and then I can reserve it again. I spent that whole day trying to reserve it again and it just kept saying reserved. I finally got a hold of Kevin and he said someone already reserved it. I told him I have been trying to get a hold of someone since Friday and he basically said I don't know what to tell you. I spoke with a Stacey that was very nice but she said I had to speak with Tony who is the GM. Tony gets on the line and you can hear the excitement in his voice to be the one to tell me too bad. He was so proud to tell me too bad it was so sad to see how bad their customer service was. I called the customer service center and they said sorry we are shorthanded and there is nothing we can do. They certainly could have offered me a trailer that was coming in but no nothing. There will come a time when these trailers are NOT selling like hot cakes and we will see how well their business goes. What a horrible experience. I came in with cash wanting to buy a trailer. They "hooked me up" with a great deal. After they told me the total I realized that the price was a lot more. Of course the guy tells me that I had to pay DMV fees and that I needed the spare. I asked if I could see the receipt to see the price breakdown and they kept stalling saying that they would give it to me as soon as the trailer was ready. They said it was $2200. It started at $1600. I said that I didn't have that money so he said they'd charge me the employee discount for the spare. I knew something was up now. It was getting near closing time and I had to get going so they hook up the trailer and give me a trailer ball lock and a locking pin. Neither item was ever discussed with me. I'm getting ready to leave and I had to ask again for the receipt and more stalling. He tells me to pull the trailer out and move it in front of the office. He then comes over hands me the receipt and says thanks and goodbye. After I get home I get to seethe receipt and see I was charged $200 for the spare tire, $50 for the installation of the spare, $50 for the ball hitch lock and another $10 for the pin lock. None of these were mentioned and told I'd have to pay. WTF is going on here? The trailer is nice but no way will I ever return and no way will I ever recommend this place to anybody. These guys should be reported cause that is a really shady operation they got going...! read more
