Becky took her time, was very meticulous, and patient. She even corrected the cut I got. I didn't feel rushed or like the shop was just trying to fill the chairs. The hair washing was important as well, she got in in scalp and scrubbed. Some places it feels like they don't even get down to the scalp. They take their time and the styling was also important. Becky took her time to dry a section at a time and curl. I loved it. Shop is small but very cute. And what they may not have in the size of the shop they certainly have in skill. I had been going to Laura since 5-22-22 and never asked for anything speacial. Well this one time, my sister offered to do my hair (for free of course)and lives 1 hour away from me in another state like Laura. Well, I told Laura I had a broken ankle but had paid the $50 deposit and was hoping I could use it for the next time I get my hair done. She abruptly said "NO!" and that I had to read the policy and repect her business. She said it did not matter how long I was doing business with her, she would not give me a refund or allow me to choose another date for the $50.00 I already paid. Well, I was respecting it by asking to do it at another time. She again, said NO! That she used the money to pay her bills and no refund or later date would be given. She then told me to just cancel it, but again, no refund would be given. I thought we were friends. We used to bring her a cold drink everytime we came and she even told me she got a few customers from my previous review. I said, well suppose I can't make it all the way up the stairs to your shop with my broken ankle, could you do it downstairs? She said NO the owner of the building would not allow it. Mind you, the owner would not be there on the date and time I was going. In the end, she called me and asked me for my bank info so she could book someone else and give me my money back, minus a transaction fee. You see, because it suited her and she could make more money by booking someone else, she all of the sudden was willing and could give me my money back!! She did not even respect her own business!! So long story short, If you may need a refund or to cancel your appointment for any reason, don't use this place. The website will not allow you to cancel (as she suggested) look for yourself. Also, she was not being honest with me by saying she COULD NOT GIVE ME A REFUND OR ANOTHER DATE TO DO MY HAIR. Obiviously, when it was convenient for her then all things became possible!! Go somewhere else where you think the hairdresser will work with you or at least has a better cancellation policy that will allow you to rebook instead of loose your money! I will never go back. Laura you know every word is the truth and you've lost a customer and two friends. Was it worth $50.00?
