The worst customer service ever! I do not recommend anyone selecting them for dental work. I've seen plenty of dentist in my life to know these people lack kindness (especially the front admin manager) she is very unprofessional!!! I scheduled an appointment for cleaning and a cavity to be filled they told me you haven't seen us in two years...yes so shouldn't they have selected a slot for consultation to clean and do some actual work and vetted time for such an appointment? Nope, the front manager the day of the appointment tells me they can only do cleaning and no cavities. So now I have to schedule another appointment! They only did one x-ray and are telling me I have to come back for full x-rays, because it has been 2 years. They are in stone age in regard to top service and patient care!!! This is the worst office. Pick another place! Every time they ask to reschedule me AFTER I wait over an hour because of "emergencies". Seriously, EVERY TIME there are emergencies that push clients back and the snide receptionist has the gall to say "as you can see" with her pathetic vanna white impression WAVING HER HAND around their ill kept wait area. Horrible dental office, unorganized, rude and too much stress on their patients! I would give 0 stars if I could !

I ended up having to go to this dentist for the second time... This was due to an error on my own part because I was too lazy to change my dentists in advance. By the time I remembered to do so, I was already due for my 6 month cleaning, so I figured I would just stick with them one more time before I switched. I dreaded going because I figured it was going to be a terrible experience, but it was surprisingly not awful. I had my x-rays done rather quickly and was seen by the same lady dentist as before. She was much nicer than before. She also asked about my retainer... I guess they had noted that in my file. I still have the broken one with the cracked wire that I shove back in place to use once in a while... Yes, it's super ghetto, but apparently I can't get a dentist to get me a new one even when I'm begging to give them money. Anyway, since I was annoyed with their treatment of me last time regarding my retainer request, I politely told her yes, I have one. I wasn't lying, I still have the broken one that their office declined to replaced. Where is the namesake of this place? I hadn't seen one man working there at all. Anyway, this place speaks Chinese and Vietnamese for those who may need a dental office that can accommodate that. They are okay if you just need your teeth cleaned... I went to this Dentist, Dr. Tran Charles, for re-cement of a crown as a first time patient. He cemented the crown and charged me for the service plus a PA, nothing extra so that was really good. I'm glad. The dentist was very friendly and did the job very well and through. I was impressed. The reason I took 1 star of and gave him only 4 stars because of the cost of the PA. For a single periaprical xray, the office charged me $50. That was a bit too high imo, in comparison, the recementing charge was $114. Overall, the visit was quite pleasant and the staff was treating me quite well. Thank you for your services and the experience. read more

This dentist office It's ridiculous. Although the reception staff are nice and try hard the doctor really tries to gouge you and puts you through the ringer. I went for 3 superficial filings that where on 3 different teeth. After much runaround and 2 reschedules from the office I finally had my appointment at 9am. Got into the office chair by 3pm. She did the 3 filings but I have to go back because now I have to go back because she did one of the 3 filings wrong causing me pain in that tooth if I try to chew on it. Do not go here if you can help it. And if you have a superficial cavity don't go for a cap over a filing. It's unnecessary, expensive and can cause more problems than the original cavity. I have been coming here for years and the doctor is absolutely amazing the dentist assistant are absolutely caring and passionate about their work. First and foremost Dr. Tran, does amazing work and is very thorough. Man this dude does magic with teeth, I come back here just because of this guy. A few things I need to emphasize is the lack of customer service this place has, it's a shame when amazing service is matched with a horrible desk attendant. Amina is what I think her English name is. Every time I see her, man is this woman rude. Pushing services, cutting people off mid sentence, and picking up phones without excusing herself. I understand that it may be the cultural background but this woman is fluent in English and I speak her native language so I think I may have some perspective on whether or not she is going through her own mid life crisis. My experience after working with Dr. tran on 1/23/15 was amazing and the small talk through the whole procedure just made it less demoralizing, provided I'm drooling and my mouth is wide open. But afterward the attendant, was forcing me to sign a waiver, I always read what I sign and it was a consent form about coming in to get my wisdom teeth out. Which I have not expressed something I needed. I mean if it's going to be out of my pocket cost, it should be up to my discretion right!? Anyways this was not an isolated experience, if it were up to me, this is enough for me to change where I go when I get my check ups for my teeth. I have gone to this dental place for the longest time and I would say this dental place is okay. It's not the greatest, but not too bad either. I appreciate the dentists that are there. The assistants there could be better trained, but they're not horrible. The front office lady can come off as rude to some people, but I think that is just her personality. Of course, she could work on her customer service skills, but she's not bad. She is very talkative and she could probably easily either come off as way too friendly or rude. THE WORST. The dentist who works here are just fine, but the lady they work for is just a very rude stuck up woman. She is also one of the receptionists. I've been to this dentist a couple of times already, and after many rude comments and arguments, I've finally decided to change dentists and rid of this receptionist. I had a really bad tooth once, and the dentist gave me a choice of having to pay 800$ for a fill since my insurance didn't cover it, or just getting rid of the tooth. I decided to pull the tooth out, I made an appt. with the receptionist, and she tried to persuade me to pay the 800$ to fill in the tooth, and after I said no, she literally spent the next 15 minutes tsk'ing at me for having such a bad tooth, and imputing in very rude comments. When I came back the next time, I had the tooth removed, and it went by pretty quickly because my tooth was already loose so if I did pay for the fill, the tooth would have came out in two years or so because of how loose it already was. I've gotten into a couple of arguments with this lady on the phone and in person and I've also witnesses a couple of other arguments with other customers too. She's a very arrogant lady who only cares about money, instead of actually helping others. read more

Stay far away from here, I am a oral surgical assistant, my kids father took them here, my 4 year old needs a filling on the front side of his tooth up by his gums also known as a facial class 5 filling. When I called the assistant or front dest proceeds to inform me that they will be doing an amalgam filling on this tooth, with no use of nitrous. A few things wrong with this whole situation one you ask and pediatric dentist or a dentist who cares about their patients will for one not use amalgam filling on a primary tooth it's structures are to small and will end up falling out and need to be redone, Second adults still say dental numbing shots hurts especially in the front of the mouth. Now imagine doing this same on a 4 year old and expected them to stay still and continue with the rest of the appointment. It's a child so one you give them a shot they will move cry and not want you to touch them pretty much traumatizing the child bad move. Finally I asked the lady I speaking to will they us nitrous she laughs and says we don't have any of that in this office!! So if he moves l refer him out!!!! After I tell her that they will not do an amalgam fill on his tooth she goes to the doctor and comes back and yes we will be using composite filling because it's the facial side of the tooth. Please be careful and aware of this place obviously they do not care about their pt all they want is money and to do the worst thing possible to patients. I was lucky enough to know what is best and is it best for patients as I went to college for this!! Ask around get second opinions, avoid this place like the plague. Went here with a family member with a appointment to get basic and minor work done. First off the location is in the ghetto, inside is not much better off, dirty old flooring and chairs. But that's all superficial, the front staff are very rude(especially if you disagree with something they say) even though their English is limited they act like they know better than you. (I've seen the older lady hangup on people) Even with a appointment expect to wait, and wait awhile 30+ minutes at least(and that's assuming they are not busy). The front staff act very busy even if they are in fact not, (reading a magazine while people are waiting to be seen.) between the rudeness and the long waiting times I'd say go just about anywhere else and that's not even considering the bad location. There are two lady dentist that are very good here..at Charles Tran and associates...the dentist here are very nice...one of the office older gals is a bit stern...but everyone else is nice....may take awhile to get a appointment but they do quality work...great with kids and take medi ~Cal also.....I believe they refer you out for root canals though.....but offer general dentistry well done....the prices for filings are great there also....the office is owned by charles Tran but the dentists are two very sharp women. read more

Horrible customer service. I had an emergency appointment arrived earlier than the appt time and was told only one dentist is working I can reschedule ( it's an emergency) so I stayed . Stayed over 3 hrs for just to be seen less than 8min and then told I have to wait on a referral. Several days went by without any update on referral after calling my insurance I was told my referral haven't been received ( Charles Trans Dental office sent it to the wrong Referral email ) which is another 48 hrs wait now . Now my insurance received the referral but once again ( Charles Trans Dental Office ) forgot the license number on the referral now I still have to wait another 24-48hrs to receive the complete referral. it's now a Friday morning they number I was giving for EMERGENCY REFERRAL APPOINTMENTS is unavailable all calls to this number is " call failed " . Now Monday and I still can't reach a representative to make my appointment. I'm going through unbearable pain due to my tooth need to be removed . My family has been going to this office for two years. There were two lady dentists working there. My two sons and myself were patients of Dr. Zee. She was great as a dentist. She always made us feel comfortable in the patient chair. My two sons love her because she gave painless anesthesia and dental treatments. I can only equate my visit with a trip to the DMV. It took too long to be seen. The only person that was nice in the whole office was the X-ray tech and that's the only reason they even get one star. This place is awful! My husband and I went first thing in the morning on a Monday because he broke a tooth over the weekend. The receptionist was extremely rude. She basically told my husband that because there was no infection (she's just the receptionist mind you and no xrays were even taken) they couldn't do anything about his tooth for 3 weeks (that was the earliest appointment). The tooth is practically gone, it's a front tooth and he is feeling some pain. He had also called a few months before this to make an appointment for a check up and they never called him back. That's part of why we just showed up this time. Also, I had "helped" my husband answer a couple questions (because that's how we are, been together 10 years and always interject with info when needed), by the second or third time she had been giving me dirty looks and proceeded to tell me (very condecendingly) not to talk for him and that he could answer for himself. I just stared at her in disbelief at how she was talking to me. My husband said he could tell she had it out for me as soon as we got there. I don't know why, it was our first time ever being there. Unfortunately we find ourselves in a position where we have no alternative but to write a complaint letter my mom had a hard time in this dental clinic back to May. My mom is almost 80. The problem came from her denture which was not matching the gum and causing infection and pain. Her first mistake was that she couldn't be able to hear the receptionist clearly. When the receptionist asked her med-Card, my mom passed the denture instead which made the receptionist mad. Her second mistake was attempting to ask one more time when she knew her misunderstanding caused the problem which made the receptionist totally loss the patience. Her third mistake was attempting to ask the receptionist be patient due to her ears' problem which made the receptionist angry, then the receptionist ended their conversation by "we don't have time we are too busy", turned her face round, and ignored my mom.
