Some front desk floater employee seemed like a hustler to get you to finance your dental work on the spot.Front office was rude, seemed like they were trying to scam me,they wanted to pull my tooth the same day,which I was not prepared for.Wanted me to finance over 5,000 dollars on that same visit on the spot,I didn't, so i went home to review all info given that day,and seemed like their attitude changed. Front staff, hygienist, and doctor were nice and knowledgeable, BUT my temp crown fell off the same day after I took a nap and drank a smoothie. It took 7 adjustments for the permanent crown to be placed then I got lacerations (cuts) on the inside lnside of my cheeks. Long ones the same day. I couldn't sleep or eat normally. It hurt a lot. Had to get off work again to get more adjustments. Prices were expensive also. read more

This place is horrible and tries to upsell everytime I go there. My previous dental place has always done regular cleaning and I take good care of my teeth so it didn't make sense for me to need all this deep cleaning that was $200+ everytime I go there. The doctor kept trying to push a crown for me when all my teeth feel fine and I know I do not need it. Also, they are ALWAYS changing the appointment time. Everytime I make an app, the final app. will always be 30-45 min after the initial app. time. Recently I made an app. for 08/10/2026 at 12:30 but checked the online portal and called to cancelled day of bc it got pushed back to 1:15 for no reason and I was not informed of that when they called me to confirm. They said I will be charged $50 for cancelling and will send it to collection if I don't pay but I don't give a fuuuuuck I deleted my account right after the call. This place tries to upsell like crazy. Dr. Hasan said he could do a filling on my tooth, but midway all of a sudden he says he HAS to do a crown. I thought that was weird because why say a filling then change your mind right after? My previous dentist said i needed 4 of my wisdom teeth removed, however i ended up not needing it. I go in for a regular cleaning and of course they say i need a deep cleaning. After getting charged $800 last time for a deep cleaning now I can get the deep cleaning for cheaper? Make it make sense. I walked into this office so hopeful, ready to finally start fighting my dental issues. I felt comfortable with my providers. I trusted them. That was my mistake. I wish I had listened to the negative reviews before coming here. This dental office is full of hidden agendas, and I deeply regret falling for their tactics. They engage in blatant scamming and upselling. I wasn't informed about the services my insurance covers, which allowed them to push their expensive CEREC products on me. I trusted them--and I shouldn't have. Listen to the person who previously advised to run from this office. I wish I had. I ended up spending thousands of dollars because they withheld information about my fully covered insurance options. Learn from my mistake. Don't trust a word they say or any financial agreement they show you. Don't be as trusting or naive as I was. Do your research, get a second opinion, or better yet, avoid this office altogether. They won't tell you everything, and they'll try to sell you things you don't need. I feel deceived and regretful. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else where you can trust the care you're receiving. Their practices may not be illegal, but they are without a doubt unethical. They intentionally withhold options to maximize their profits, taking advantage of patients through a complete lack of informed consent. CEREC was presented to me as my only choice besides a metal crown, even though a different, fully covered option was available. This is all clearly shown in my billing details. Not only were they not transparent, but they actively lied to cover their tracks. They asked me to stay the same day as my exam--the same day they provided the costs. Looking back, I'm sure it was so I wouldn't have time to do my research, get another opinion, and realize that what they were selling me was unnecessary. I was too trusting. In retrospect, I was a fool. Then, they charged me $400 for another service during my SRP procedure. When I asked for an explanation, they gave me some nonsense about how it was meant to "improve the mouth-body connectiion." If they ask you to stay after your exam, do yourself a favor and leave. Go home, talk to your insurance, and figure out exactly what's covered. Look at all your options before making any decisions. I feel like important information was deliberately withheld from me to make a sale. This kind of lack of transparency is honestly disgusting. Then, when I decided I couldn't trust them anymore and wanted to leave, I was told I would lose my warranty on my CEREC crowns--crowns I never even had the option to decline in favor of a standard, covered alternative. I was also never informed about the warranty conditions, which require that I stay with them and see them every six months for five years for the warranty to even apply. So essentially, if I leave now, the $1,800+ I spent (on something that was an unnecessary financial burden in the first place) would no longer be covered. To make matters worse, I was charged for a filling that my insurance did cover, and after spending nearly $2,000, they refunded me a whopping $44. If you have no problem paying out of pocket for everything (because they will not look at your covered options), go ahead--spend your money here. But if you depend on your insurance and expect to be given all your options, don't even think about it. This office operates with deception, manipulation, and greed. I think that the staff here are fantastic. My hygienist is the only reason I am still going to this location while looking for a new one. In my experience, they do charge you more than what your insurance covers. Don't come here if you have any issues with money or any concerns and aren't able to pay $3000 plus for each issue if you are able to pay that, then this is a fantastic dentist office. I was quoted $259 for one root canal and $239 for the other root canal. I was not enthusiastic about the total price of all of my procedures, but I was willing to do it so that I wouldn't be in pain anymore. After I took the time to call my fiancé to see if it was something that we could do financially, they came back and quoted me over $800 for one of the root canals and over $900 for the other. When I asked about the difference, the receptionist claimed that it was my insurance that wasn't paying for the root canal. When I checked my coverage options later at home, they definitely do pay for root canals. I was given one receipt with one price and another receipt with another price. It was frustrating, and while I understand that the prices are what they are, it was incredibly unprofessional and ridiculous that they made me sit in the office for another 45 minutes while they discussed the mistake that was made out of the room with me. Overall, the staff is kind, but the prices are awful. They either do not bill correctly for the insurance, or they upsell you, I don't know what the answer is there. Today on 2/7, I came to delta shores dentistry! I checked in around 830am (paperwork etc) I was seen At 9 am (which was my scheduled appointment) the front desk was very welcoming and nice! Easy process X-rays were done by the RDA Miley! She was so sweet kind and caring! She made me feel so comfortable for it being my first time! DR HASAN! Was the reason why I came to this office he was my provider at another location and even though it's a 25 min drive it worth every mile! I have never had a Dr like Dr HASAN! Let's just say he's really good at what he does! He's pretty fast, with quality work!, gentle and kind! Very much recommended! You won't be disappointed! The star is for the dentist he was great. I had to wait 40 minutes past my appt time to be treated. There was a woman violently coughing in the lobby( important later) Anyways the xray girl was touching the plastic piece that goes into my mouth (not the handle the actual mouth piece) for the xray then touching the switches on the wall, the mouse, the equipment with out changing gloves. The caviwipes were open when we came in and she didnt close them after taking one to clean all the equipment used. She used this stick looking camera to take pictures and she BARELY wiped it before putting it back, it was not cleaned properly. Wiping all the stuff she used only tool like 5 seconds so you can imagine how good the disinfecting was.. Now im thinking if the sick lady in the lobby was there before me im catching whatever she has too. When i went to check out there was a used balled up piece of tissue at the front desk. Multiple staff walked by it and didnt clean it. Im so grossed out i have autoimmune issues as well as elderly relatives. Please avoid this place they do not care about keeping a clean clinic. I cant leave a bad enough review. I paid in full, never received a denture at all, no immediates NOTHING paid nearly $4,000 and they are refusing to refund me when it was their idea to give up and not make anything after they failed several times to take impressions, something any dental office can accomplish 3 times, mixed up my impressions with someone else's and they didnt even fit in my mouth, they admitted it was not off my impressions and they must have mixed them up or lost them. I gave them 3D models of my mouth, they had this one handed to them, easiest case but they already got paid so they were done. Never even got out of the wax try in phase. I was always understanding. And I even had to bring my husband with me to appointments as they would book me appointments solo, as in I was the only other person in the building. Not even front desk staff! That made me so uncomfortable on top of their behavior. Both Drs. But especially Dr. Hasan. Soon as i told him I was frustrated never saw him again. Behaved totally unprofessional at best then avoided me to never deliver. I tolerated his behavior, let him be inappropriate all to get my dentures finally after months of mistakes, and still never got them. He got what he wanted though, that creep. Never have i sat in a chair covered in impression goo and told to go find a sink and clean myself up, i knew that was the biggest red flag and i wish I ran then. He was rough, and rude til i cried and then blamed me for not being able to handle impressions. Didnt even give me a napkin or bib. Injured my lips, messed up my hair and clothes, and would not let me out the chair. I have given impressions. I have been the practice patient for new dental assistants to practice giving impressions. I am very familiar with how they work. This took over an hour. Took 3 tries. He was so mean the whole time. I knew this wasnt right, he was taking advantage. I should have left then but I really thought i was close to being done with this awful process. 5 months later still no denture. And they refuse to give a refund they keep saying it was sent then it wasnt sent and now saying they never intended to actually refund me. *SCAM AVOID* I had my appointment with Dr Avalpreet Dang. He attempted to tell me all of these things were wrong with my teeth and that I needed a bunch of work done. I've never had any issues with my teeth so this came as a surprise. He pushed me to get the work done that day and then started bargaining on prices with me when I repeatedly said no I only came in for a cleaning. This was an extremely uncomfortable experience. I had to say no about 5 times until he stormed out of the room. After this there was no way I was ever going back. So I then requested all my medical records from this office and sent them to two family friends who are dentists, as well as my new dentist in Sacramento. These records showed the X-rays and doctors recommendations for work to be done. Front desk unprofessional. When you are there. They are all about no pain but I never got pain managed. Confusion with paperwork upon exiting. Back office lady was not well informed. This made me very nervous. I had to practically beg for Ibuprofen for my pain but never got it. This really irritated me. I called 3 times for my meds and was told it was taken care of. The front desk is very unprofessional and lacks basic customer service skills. The office is in a nice location but not very clean inside, the front desk should take better care of the front of the office since it's the first thing the customer sees. Their rep that provided us with our treatment notes had no idea how to bill certain services to our insurance and asked us to pay out of pocket and get reimbursed by insurance, she was also very rude and had no clue what she was doing. Dr. Dang is amazing. And Dr. Wong is amazing too. I have severe dental anxiety and I usually only go if something is really wrong. Dr. Dang made me feel very comfortable and safe the entire time. Made me feel like I was in control of the level of comfort I had during my visit. He also does my daughter's teeth and wow. He is so good with her only being 5. His office employees also made her feel special and want to come back to the dentist. Dr. Wong did my root canal today. I never thought I'd ever be able to do a root canal but here I am, no pain, and totally willing to come back for his services. The office manager (Andy?) is also great. STAY AWAY!!! I figured I would give this place a try since it's new and had some decent reviews especially Dr. Dang. That is not the case.... I first went in on March 4 to get my crown fixed & even with insurance I still managed to pay $500+ (which I was told it was due to the material I picked out; okay fine) but then I got quoted the SAME day for wisdom teeth which I know for a fact I'm covered at 90% with insurance, they tried charging me $2,248.80. So then I had pain from my crown and I messaged Dr. Dang 03/08 on my chart website & if you go to sent it will tell you if they read it or not and he read it the same day but then when I call and make an appointment go figure he wants to message back 03/11. And then I go in for an adjustment and something that takes 10 minutes he wants to make a claim to my insurance. It was just an adjustment.... And the last thing I need done is a deep cleaning and looking at my insurance because I'm in NETWORK they tried charging $400+ when it clearly says I should be paying $0.00 out-of-pocket I get it, the price listed isn't guaranteed but to go from $0.00 to $2,248.80 is ridiculous. read more

Dear Delta Shores Dentistry I am writing to file a complaint about my experience at your office yesterday. Upon arrival, I was informed that I had called earlier to reschedule my appointment due to illness. However, I did not make any such call and even showed my phone records to confirm that I had called to verify my appointment and ask if I needed to bring anything, not to change it. The front desk staff then instructed me to contact my insurance and sign in, which I promptly did. My insurance confirmed all the necessary paperwork was completed. Despite this, when I arrived, I was told that I had rescheduled the appointment and would not be seen until October. This was very upsetting, especially considering the back-and-forth communication I had with your office leading up to the appointment. As someone who runs a daycare, it is incredibly difficult for me to leave work, and I had to arrange for two substitutes just to attend this appointment. The lack of professionalism and courtesy from your front desk staff--particularly the individual I spoke with, whose name was either Rachel or Cindy--was extremely frustrating. They were dismissive of my situation and did not acknowledge the effort I had made to confirm my appointment in advance. I believe your office needs to improve its customer service, especially at the front desk, where staff should be more understanding and respectful of patients' time and circumstances. I went to not only one but two dental offices for additional oppinions and was told my son's teeth are perfect he just needs to floss. Really a 9 year old needs deep cosmetic cleaning? He cleaned my teeth and purposely stabbed my gums and made it so uncomfortable talking about how I have a gums disease (I'm sure he did that because I did not want the special cosmetic procedure for my son) and to top it he yelled at not only me but was making racial comments about a white man in Punjabi (Punjabi is my native language). He's a disgrace to our community and society. I took both my son and I to our normal dentistries which we could not go to back then as our benefits had changed so we ended up at this dump. Mom's Dad's please be aware!! If you love your kids and respect your time don't go here. I have filed a report with the board this man is in the wrong profession. This office is not trust worthy. They took my money for a procedure by falsifying the coding on the claim They submitted to my insurance. Then argued with me when I asked for a refund. Terrible experience. Do not let them touch your mouth with getting an itemized bill with pricing before hand. If they do not provide you with that, understand that's when the scam starts! The first time I went there I immediately asked to be referred out for sedation which also cost me an arm and a leg but was necessary. The guy that sits on the left side of the front counter talking like he owns the place is the only person that came in the room, we never talked about any pricing. Before my follow appointment after the referral I was told your co-pay is twenty two fifth-teen which turned out to be 2,215.43. The 43 cent was left out leading me to believe the price was much lower than expected. They claimed that I set down with someone in the office and talked about the price and that I chose the highest quality crown. I didn't choose my crown till after they already ground my teeth down, and we went purely off what was the best match to my teeth color NOT the price. After 5 hours of work I had my first meal only to realize my crown is still hitting the rest of my teeth first and will probably need an adjustment but I read they will charge me to fix this even though it's they bad work. Make sure you can see what the lady behind the desk is having you sign. She swears by the process but couldn't tell me who sat down with me and got my signature. This place is great! The staff is very friendly and helpful. If they can't answer a question right away, they always get back to me. The dentists and hygienist are wonderful! They do a really good job of clearly explaining everything that needs to be done along with the costs of it all. I don't ever feel like I'm forced to take on a procedure but rather I'm given good advice. Dr Dang is great along with his whole team. Their hygienist Shaina (I believe was her name) is incredible! Super friendly but more importantly gentle. She was able to throughly clean my teeth without feeling like I was in pain the whole time, making my experience here that much better. Only drawback I see, which people have mentioned before, is the cost. Even with insurance you'll be paying a decent amount out of pocket. If i could give zero stars i would. At first i liked this place (the first two visits). When i went yesterday they tried to charge me $1200 for a deep cleaning. How do I go from it being completely fine the last two visits to needed a deep clean; the math isn't mathing here. I do not need a deep cleaning. I told them I can't afford to get a deep clean so just do the regular one that is free and they said they are refusing to do so. They said i can make payment plans to get a deep clean. My teeth are fine. I have no cavities and no plaque on my teeth, why on earth would i spend over 1K to get my teeth cleaned. This is your place! Like many others I am terrified of the dentist. I came across Dr. Dang through an online interview he had done. It had been 5 years and after seeing how passionate he was I decided to give it a chance. I live an hour away and I don't regret it one bit. Dr. Dang, and his team are so kind and comforting! My experience: As a new patient I was enrolled over the phone quickly, the process was smooth and easy. The day I arrived (super nervous) I was taken into the X-ray room where Sam's energy uplifted my mood! Then I was taken into the room where Dr. Dang informed me I had 1 cavity (in relief that was it) and needed deep cleaning. He spent the time to educate me about the importance of dental hygiene (NO ONE DOES THIS) and I appreciated that very much! I decided to get my cavity filled that day and boy does Dr. Dang have patience! I am super duper scared of needles but he understood my fear and was gentle! I barely felt a pinch! Process was fast and I headed out happy. Next appointment was a week later and of course dental anxiety hit again. Came in, was greeted by the team and sent right in to meet the hygienist Vee. She went over everything she was going to do and totally flushed my fear away. The deep cleaning experience was not bad at all, there were random pinches but nothing unbearable (without anesthesia!!). She was super sweet and caring throughout the process. Not only did they want to steal 1150 from me, but combined my account with my 34-year-old son and now they're billing him 129 which he does not owe and I don't owe I don't know where the 129 came from they still owe me $50 that I received under my sons name that belongs to me a 34 year old man he's not a child our account shouldn't even be combined so please everybody carefully look at your account look at your billing, call your insurance they probably over-billed you or shouldn't have charged you at all. Worst experience I've had at a dentist. I should have read the reviews before coming here because it looks like a lot of people are having the same experience. I went in for a basic cleaning that my insurance covers every 6 months. The first thing I noticed is its an all male staff. Which was different but fine. when the dentist came in he was friendly until I told him I wanted the basic cleaning. Alfredo(he was great!) showed me the prices for the "deep cleaning" that I apparently needed. $780! For a cleaning.... I told the dentist I was refusing the deep cleaning and I just wanted the basic cleaning covered by my insurance. He flat out refused to do the cleaning unless I chose the upcharged option. So I wasted my time, and money on a babysitter for them to literally do nothing but show me their outrages prices and turn me away for what I was scheduled for. read more

The dentist on staff recommended "deep Cleaning" for a few teeth however it would have been billed for all 4 quadrants. The staff member that was going over billing with me kept pushing for me to schedule an appointment to have this done immediately. My dear fiancee just wanted to have the best pearly whites for our wedding and Oral Surgeon Anh Nguyen insisted she needed to get her wisdom teeth pulled. Like anyone, she trusted the advice of her dentist. Nevertheless, she received unprofessional and inhumane treatment from Oral Surgeon Anh Nguyen and Delta Shores Dentistry staff. After Oral Surgeon Anh Nguyen extracted her wisdom teeth, she failed to tell her how long it may take to heal or any side effects associated with the procedure. Additionally, Oral Surgeon Anh Nguyen rushed and overcharged my fiancee. As a result, she has been suffering from chronic, persistent, painfully excruciating pain and numbness inside her mouth, on her jaw, on her forehead, and all over her head. All of this pain has lasted for several months which is WAYYY longer than it should and Oral Surgeon Anh Nguyen nor is Delta Shores Dentistry doing anything to help her. She has tried to call and meet with Oral Surgeon Anh Nguyen multiple times since the wisdom tooth extraction, aka massacre, happened, and Anh Nguyen/Delta Shores Dentistry staff have either rescheduled, or has NOT returned her messages. This would make anyone think that Oral Surgeon Anh Nguyen and Delta Shores Dentistry are fully aware that malpractice has taken place, and they simply do not care the health and well-being of their patients. We are new patients, and this review is based off of our first appointment. I'm happy to write a follow-up review if our experience changes. tl;dr: - Slow - X-rays for my wife took 45 minutes with no cleaning done, and X-rays and scaling for me took two and a half hours - The X-ray tech was not clean, using the same wet glove around the room to touch buttons and move the chew in our mouths - The dentist quoted a lot of expensive work, despite us having no history of dental issues - Nice clean office and friendly staff Full scoop: My wife scheduled cleaning appointments for both of us at Delta Shores Dentistry. Her appointment was at 8:15 a.m. and my appointment was at 10 a.m. She scheduled these times because she works full time, and needed to go to work immediately after her morning appointment; I have a bit more flexibility in my schedule since I work from home. My wife arrived at 8:00 a.m. and was seen promptly at 8:20 a.m., but despite being the only patient there, things quickly went downhill. The first X-ray machine wasn't working, so my wife was moved to a different room with a functioning machine. The X-ray tech put on gloves, but then proceeded to touch buttons, the computer mouse, and machines between each scan - each time putting the dirty glove back into my wife's mouth. After X-rays were done, the dentist came out and quoted her for a cavity and a crown. This was surprising to my wife and I because we have gone to the dentist every six months, and have not had any issues in the past ten years. By this time, it was 9:00 a.m., and 45 minutes in, my wife had only had X-rays done. She needed to return to work, and so had to reschedule to get her teeth cleaned. My appointment at 10 a.m. also left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I showed up on time and wasn't called back until 10:30 a.m. The X-ray tech followed the same unsanitary practices; I would watch her touch buttons with the wet glove (from my saliva) then reinsert the glove into my mouth between each scan. The dentist didn't see me until 11 a.m., at which point he said I needed a filling and scaling because of my gum health. I haven't had a cavity in over 10 years, and have never had issues with gum health. I was highly skeptical that the dentist found such serious issues with both my wife and I after years of no issues at all. In any event, I trusted him and agreed to go through with both the filling and scaling since our insurance covered most of it. They let me know that for the scaling I needed local anesthesia, and that only half of my mouth would be done that day. I agreed with all of this and signed paperwork around 11:15 a.m. The dentist came back into the room at 11:30 a.m. to administer the shot. He told me, "I'll be back in 10 minutes so that you're totally numb." 10 minutes passed. Then 20 minutes passed. He didn't return to the room until noon - 30 minutes later. The entire time, I could hear him cleaning another patient's mouth. When he returned, he chalked it up to an "emergency". Finally, I got scaling for half of my mouth done. I left the dentist at 12:30 - two and a half hours after I arrived. My wife has to return to get her teeth cleaned, and I have to return to get the rest of my scaling done. We both hope that it won't take this long next time. As far as the other work that the dentist suggested for my wife, we're seeking a second opinion. It's a lot of money and a lot of work that we never would have anticipated. To end on a positive note, the dentist, front desk, and assistants are all friendly, and the office is nice. We want to be long-term patients here, we just hope for a better experience going forward. read more

I'm embarrassed to say, but have been to MANY dentists in my short life, however this is my first experience with a chain dental office. RUN! Every dentist in this office is trained to UPSELL. I was very disappointed with their business approach to MY oral health. They mark everything up, so he can offer "discounts" that are laughable. Also, will only discount the most expensive treatment option. After a second opinion, I will not be returning to this office and advise anyone in search of an honest, affordable dentist to avoid it as well. I don't often write reviews but felt compelled to in this instance. I hadn't been to a dentist in a decade, and it has taken its toll. One evening I woke up with incredible pain in my front teeth and they were feeling loose. I made an emergency appointment with Dr. Dang and was very nervous. His staff is incredibly helpful and their customer service is exemplary. The facility is welcoming and all the staff is friendly. After some X-Rays and a quick exam by Dr. Dang I was told my two front teeth needed to be extracted. Really not that shocked but still a large pill to swallow as I am still a bit young to be losing teeth. Dr. Dang was very compassionate and helped me understand that it had to be done due to a very bad infection in my gums. The procedure went great, throughout both Dr. Dang and his assistant were checking in on my comfort level and making sure everything went smoothly. Now 2 weeks later, after the infection has gone and my gums are healing I have a temporary flipper (didn't even know what that was) until we can pursue a more permanent solution, but I can smile again! I have been meaning to write this review for quite some time now. I have been around for a while and I can say that I have never been seen by a dentist who actually cares. From the beginning, you feel like you have known Dr. Dang for a long time. Very Friendly, Knowledgeable Compassionate and Personable. I had been to two different dentists in past 3 months because of a toothache that I had every time I ate something and they quoted treatments worth more than a thousand dollars. Dr. Dang took a look and he knew what was wrong. He did something to my tooth and boom... within seconds my pain was gone like it never was there. I did not pay a single penny for it. It has been 3 months now and I have not had any issues. I have referred my family and friends to Dr. Dang's office. Great office. Very neat and clean. Great Location. read more
