She honestly told me that the other cavities can be taken care of in waves, to not traumatize my son. They were able to do the crown right there and it was only 30 minutes. They were so good to him and constantly reassured him, to help him be at ease. For me, customer service and communication is very important and they hit in out of the park. All of the staff here are amazing, super friendly, and do a really great job. Honestly, they are the nicest, most genuine bunch. The front desk receptionists Morgan and Alana, are always cordial, attentive and welcoming, either on the phone or in person. The dental techs are just as positive and obviously love the work they do. The hygeniest made a potentially unpleasant experience much easier. She was careful to tell me what she was about to do at ever step of the process and asked me if I had any sensitivities or concerns. Dr. Wilgus is simply the best. He is funny, caring and very knowledgeable. He made me feel at ease during my exam and subsequent treatment. His expertise made me very comfortable and extremely painfree (I never even felt the Novacaine injection during a recent procedure). Dr. Wilgus practices excellence and integrity in dentistry at the highest level. I appreciate the open and honest nature and innovative dentistry being practiced here. I recently got an apicoectomy done and he was willing to stay late to accommodate my work schedule, put on music for me so I would feel more comfortable, continuously reapply Vaseline for my dried lips, and even gave me an unplanned and unscheduled cleaning post surgery. Not only can you tell that Divine Dental Solutions cares about their patients, but you can definitely tell that Dr. Ly is well versed in all that he does. The office told me my insurance would be accepted but they didn't submit a pre-treatment authorization so when I arrived for my surgery, I was required to pay the entire bill up front and then get reimbursed by my insurance. I was not told I would be paying the full balance (roughly $5000) up front. The office said they would submit my claim and I would be reimbursed in 2-4 weeks. So, I paid the full balance because I had no other option. After a month, still no reimbursement. The office said my claim was lost when they submitted it the first time so they resubmitted it. Another month goes by and still no reimbursement. The office submitted my claim a 3rd time. Then the office told me to contact my insurance about the claim, which I did, and my insurance stated they sent a check to the office 2 weeks ago. When I informed the office about this, they said they didn't receive a check. I called them the next day after verifying the date and amount of the check and the office said the check was with underwriting. I then contacted my insurance company again and their records show that the check they sent the office was cashed 3 weeks ago. Then, when the office told me they had my check, the amount of the check was less than the amount my insurance sent the office. Also, the office needed me to email my correspondence with my insurance company to verify what I was saying. I continued following up with the office and stated I would come down to the office to clear this up. Finally, after nearly 9 months, I received my reimbursement in two separate checks even though my insurance sent one check to the office. Interestingly, the amount of the two checks combined was more than the one check my insurance sent them so I ended up getting a few hundred dollars more than expected. No, I did not inform the office of this because I think they were trying to not pay me what my insurance reimbursed me and ended making an accounting error in my favor. This office has suspicious billing practices and I will never go to them or refer them to anyone even though the procedure was fine. They have offices throughout Sacramento and I went to the office in South Sacramento. There are plenty of other oral surgeons to choose from

They took X-rays and told me she had two cavities and needed to be referred out for treatment. We scheduled a follow-up appointment, which was today. When we arrived, we were taken back, but then left waiting in the chair for about 30 minutes with no X-rays, no cleaning, nothing. Eventually, the dentist came in (before any hygienist had seen us, which already felt unusual), pulled up the X-rays from three months ago, and immediately began scolding my daughter about her brushing habits. She briefly looked at her teeth, spent maybe 2-3 minutes total, and then said she had no cavities and walked out. Naturally, I was confused since we were originally told she did have cavities. When I asked about it, the hygienist came in and reviewed the same old X-rays, seemingly thinking they were from today. I had to point out that no new images had even been taken. At that point, they started asking me basic intake questions (like who brought us back (male or female) and whether my daughter had sealants before) that should have already been in her chart. which they were after i literally said... i don't know what sealants are can you look on her chart. which they did and they gave her two last check up. What really didn't sit right with me was that even after saying she had no cavities, they still wanted to refer her out to get cavities filled, like to double check the dentists work or confirm? i felt like i was in the twilight zone, and it just screamed "money grab" . The whole situation felt disorganized, careless, and honestly unprofessional. There was no acknowledgment of the confusion or any attempt to clarify what had gone wrong. I don't blame the hygienist, she was nice, and the front desk has always been wonderful, but to watch the dentist look at 3 month old x rays thinking they were from today, and no one knew except me, and no one even knew what worker set us in the chair and left, i knew i was never going to bring my kids back and i'll be returning to my family dentist, even if it means ill be paying out of pocket. That's like paying for two burritos and being given one burrito cut in half -- it's absurd. This whole situation was incredibly stressful, frustrating, and felt like a complete scam. It honestly ruined my week trying to sort it out. Their own brochure clearly states "two professional cleanings," yet I only got half of one. I'm 38, almost 39 and the past couple of years I started to notice a little bit of sagging and fullness in my neck and super loose skin on my upper eyelids. It's been difficult to apply makeup on my eyes the past couple of years. What I liked about facetite is it tightens the neck as well as my lower face and I definitely had fullness in my lower face. Procedure day was great! I took some Valium to help me relax. Dr. Liu carefully marked me and made sure I knew what he was going to do and that I was happy with the plan. Numbing me up was the worst part, but even so, it was completely tolerable, especially with the Valium on board. He was gentle and took his time and after just a couple minutes I was numb and then felt no pain the rest of the procedure. He had some good music playing, I was able to talk if I needed to and he made sure to check in with me throughout the treatment. When we were done his extremely kind and knowledgeable assistant put a compression wrap on me, and then I was on my way home. When I got home I started icing and kept my head elevated. I took two doses of pain meds but honestly I probably didn't even need it. The next morning I woke up with zero pain, unless I touched the treatment areas. But I'm on day three and haven't needed a pain med, except for that first day. I only have three tiny sutures for the facetite. One behind each ear and one of the chin. My neck is SNATCHED and my eyes are like they were 20 years ago. No more wrinkling when I put on eyeliner or creasing of my makeup as the day goes on and I'm so happy with this whole experience. I had no idea my neck could look this good!! Highly recommend FaceTite with Dr. Liu.
