Loki, with his lil brother Lincoln

Today we had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to our 9-year-old boxer, Loki. He was in so much pain and could no longer walk, and we wanted him to be comfortable and at peace in his final moments. The team from Tranquil Tails came to our home and treated both Loki and our family with such compassion, kindness, and professionalism. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They truly empathized with what we were going through and made us feel cared for every step of the way.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Because of them, Loki's passing was peaceful, gentle, and surrounded by the people who loved him most. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We are incredibly grateful to these wonderful ladies for making one of the hardest days of our lives a little easier.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thank you for helping our sweet boy cross the rainbow bridge with dignity, comfort, and love. We will never forget your kindness.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What an amazing experience! Dr. Conner and Chris were extremely professional and their compassion exceeded our expectations[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Our Kyra (Australian Shepherd Mix) was recently diagnosed with Osteosarcoma. She had 2 fractures, in pain and couldn't walk well. Dr. further explained the discomfort she could be experiencing and put us at ease that this was indeed the right decision. At almost 14 yrs old, her comfort is what we desired for her, being at home surrounded by her family, in a familiar setting. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Today was not a good day, but they made it so much more bearable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thank you

Just a week ago, our family had to make the difficult decision to put our sweet Maui to rest as we knew it was time and didn't want him to suffer any longer. I'm so thankful my husband found Tranquil Tails to help us put our boy to rest. Availability was quick as they were able to see us the very next day. What we appreciate is that they are able to come to your house and go on with the privacy of our own home and not having to bring our boy around when he was in enough pain as it was. Dr. Connor and her assistant, Chris, came over around the time we arranged. During this difficult time, Dr. Connor explained to all of us what the process would be and what to expect. This helped our kids understand what would be going on and what to look out for. Through the whole thing, Dr Connor was so professional and just the sweetest. She took her time and after putting our boy to rest, she and Chris stepped out to give us time to mourn and say goodbye to our boy for as long as we needed. They were also very careful and respectful when it came time to take him away. I highly recommend Tranquil Tails as they were there for us when we needed them during this difficult time. Thank you again, Dr. Connor and Chris, for your kindness and professionalism. It really meant the world to us.

Saying goodbye to our girl Miley after 17.5 years was one of the hardest things we've ever faced, but Tranquil Tails made it as gentle and peaceful as it could possibly be. From the moment they arrived, they were patient, compassionate, and incredibly kind. They spoke softly, moved slowly, and truly respected how much she meant to us. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were able to be at home, where she was comfortable and surrounded by love, and that meant everything.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We will never forget the kindness they showed us in one of the hardest times in our lives.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Words cannot describe how grateful I am for their kindness, patience, and professionalism they displayed on the hardest day of my life.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They truly seemed to understand how much our pup meant to us and she was able to pass in such a peaceful manner surrounded by love. While the loss of a family member is never easy, Tranquil Tails made our last memory together unforgettable in the best ways possible.

We had to make the devastating decision to put our baby Vader to peace and we were beside ourselves with grief, however, tranquil Tails was able to lift a heavy burden off of our shoulders while offering a great deal of sincere compassion. They did this while maintaining professionalism, patience, and empathy throughout the process and gave us the time and space we needed with our precious boy before he was put to rest. I highly recommend this business and Dr. Conner if you want a peaceful send off for your babies. We also opted for the private cremation as well and chose this beautiful option (I think there was seven or eight to choose from).

My family and I are so thankful to have found Tranquil Tails. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When it was time to say goodbye to our sweet girl Charlie, Dr. Conner and Chris were completely amazing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They were patient, compassionate and explained everything to us throughout the process. Even though it was their first time meeting Charlie they seemed to know her Thank you for helping us through this difficult time.

I am finally ready to make this post. We made the very difficult decision to euthanize our sweet boy after watching him deteriorate for months. Our final wish for him was to let him go in peace, surrounded by his family. We contacted a few places that offer in home euthanasia. Tranquil Tails was, by far, the best option. To begin, their phone representative was extremely compassionate and sympathetic to our situation. The process was explained very thoroughly. They had had immediate availability which was great because we did not want our boy to continue to suffer for an extended period of time. Their pricing was also the best we found. We had a vet and her assistant arrive at our home on time. I wish I could remember their names. They also explained the process to us and made sure all of our concerns were addressed before beginning the process. We never felt rushed. We were given all the time we needed to say our goodbyes and sit with him before he was removed. We got our dog back less than 2 weeks later. He was delivered to our door in a beautiful wooden box that we picked out. This was the first loss for my young children and devastating for us all. Our boy had been in our family for 13 years. Tranquil Tails made this experience as easy as possible for us. I am very thankful we found them when we needed them.

    Our beloved girl.

Obviously, everyone knows how difficult a decision this is. We made the decision and Dr. Conors came out. I can't say enough about her. She was kind, gentle, and took care of our girl with the utmost respect. She reassured us through the entire process and allowed us to grieve and talk about fond memories about our beloved pet. Trust me, you will be in the best hands during such an emotional time.

Recently, we had to help our almost 18-year-old dachshund, Dodger, cross the Rainbow Bridge. He had been with me since I was a teenager, so we truly grew up together. He wasn't just a dog. He was family. As the last of our five-dachshund dynasty, saying goodbye marked the end of an era for our family. We were there the day he was born, and nearly two decades later, it felt like such a full-circle moment to surround him with that same love as we helped him peacefully cross the Rainbow Bridge. From my very first phone call, I knew we were in the right hands. In full transparency, I wasn't my best self when Don answered, as I had been dreading making that call. Yet he met me with nothing but patience, kindness, and compassion. He answered every question without ever making me feel rushed and quickly replaced my fear with peace. His care didn't stop there. On the day of our appointment, he kept me updated on when to expect Dr. Nicole, checked in afterward, notified our primary veterinarian of Dodger's passing, and handled every detail with incredible thoughtfulness. He truly provided a white-glove experience, allowing us to focus entirely on loving Dodger instead of managing the logistics. The handwritten note we received afterward meant more to our family than he'll probably ever know. Dr. Nicole gave our family the most beautiful gift: a peaceful, love-filled goodbye at home. From the moment she arrived, her expertise and emotional intelligence were evident. She took the time to get to know Dodger and our family before anything else, allowing what could have felt like a heartbreaking appointment to instead become a meaningful celebration of his life. She thoughtfully explained every step, intuitively meeting each of us exactly where we were in our grief. She somehow knew when to speak, when to sit quietly, when to gently guide us, and when to give us space. She made sure each member of our family was truly ready before moving forward, honoring that everyone grieves differently. What impressed me most was that she never allowed the experience to feel clinical. Every detail was handled with remarkable tenderness and intention. Even something as routine as placing Dodger's catheter was done so thoughtfully and discreetly that our focus remained entirely on loving him instead of the medical process. Afterward, she lovingly swaddled him with such care and respect that it felt like she was caring for one of her own. Every interaction reflected dignity, compassion, and genuine love. As heartbreaking as that day was, Dr. Nicole gave us the incredible gift of peace, allowing us to be fully present with Dodger in his final moments and leaving us with the comfort of knowing we had given him the beautiful goodbye he deserved. Thank you, Dr. Nicole, Don, and the Serene Passages team for treating not only Dodger, but our entire family, with such dignity, compassion, and love. She came to my home first thing the next morning. I was worried about my younger Golden Retriever jumping on her or interfering with her care, but she was absolutely wonderful with both of my dogs. She encouraged him to stay in the room with us once he was comfortable with her, and I truly believe that helped him understand what was happening. She was incredibly professional, but I'll never forget one small moment. Out of the corner of my eye, while I was saying my final words and paying my last tributes to my girl, I saw her quietly wiping tears from her eyes. As a healthcare provider myself, I know how often we're expected to wear a mask and stay composed. Seeing that genuine emotion didn't make her seem less professional, it reassured me that she truly cared. In those final moments, your mind races. You question whether you're making the right decision. Seeing her emotion gave me peace because I knew she wasn't simply going through the motions. This is not my first review of our beloved Dr G, and I just recommended her to 6 more people again just these past 2 weeks. She's not only compassionate, present and knowledgeable, but also she does not oversell." Besides all the regular check ups, Dr G. has performed 2 substantial surgeries on my pup in the last 8 years, and has been extremely kind, providing valuable reassuring step-by-step updates throughout, especially aware that I had lost my beloved first dog, (with a different vet), when he did not make it through the anesthesia... In the 8 years Dr G. has been our one and only vet; everyone I have sent to Dr G. has fallen in love with her, and has thanked me for the referral. I trusted Dr G and her small compassionate team with the euthanasia of my precious second dog, Handsome. She is truly an Angel on Earth. At her Chatsworth location, I love that she's created a lovingly cozy "home environment" for the euthanasia experience. That it so needed during that deeply emotional time, and more veterinary offices ought to follow her example. I found her many years ago when I was dissatisfied with a busy veterinary front desk in Sherman Oaks, after they had made errors in my first dog's chart. I hope that you are reading reviews of IVS Mobile Vets for any reason other than why I sought their services. But if that time has come, when your beloved pet can no longer continue pain-free and without complications, you are told you have options. Someone told me to "drop him off at a shelter" and "start the grieving process". Others said to take him to a vet and have him euthanized at the clinic. Cost being a factor, I was mortified at the prospect of having to consider either of the above options. Abandoning a family member to die alone and wonder why? Who can do that? I came very close to having to consider that option; that is until I found IVS Mobile Vets. Encouraged by glowing reviews, I called to inquire about end-of-life care services and pricing. Dr. Moore answered my call, and even before we could get to details, she solemnly and compassionately listened to me go on and on about my little Donnie, and validated my immense grief over what was to come. Moreover, despite prices for everything everywhere being at an all-time high, Dr. Moore quoted me at-home euthanasia and private cremation for almost $200 LESS than the next lowest quote that I obtained... and I had called over a dozen vets and organizations. Donnie went to sleep on February 15, at about 1pm. In the comfort and safety of his own home, while lying in the bed that we shared for over 13 years, he drifted peacefully, and I held him until his frail little body started to cool, I don't know if it was a 1/2 hour or 1/2 a day, but Dr. Moore left us alone and gave me the time I needed for closure. Dr. Moore was gentle, patient, and truly compassionate. Despite it being the most heartbreaking day of my life, the occasion was peaceful and life-affirming, and I will mourn and cherish that memory for the rest of whatever's left of my own life. Every corner of my home is a mine field of Donnie memories, and I can't envision a day when I could come home and not long to see his little face in the upstairs window, waiting for me to open the door. But, I am forever comforted to know that I did right by my little guy, loving and caressing him to the very end. Donnie's ashes were delivered to me in person about a week later, with a heartfelt card, dignified packaging, and supplemental literature on grieving. Thank you, Dr. Moore, for your kindness, compassion and integrity. Truly an angel of mercy.

We took her to a conventional vet to rule out UTI/kidney issues and had X rays done to ensure there was nothing grossly abnormal structurally with her bones. Everything checked out and I knew I didn't want to start her on a medication with significant side effects or have her on pain meds indefinitely, so I searched for holistic vets who did acupuncture and was so happy to see Dr. Rose was local to us! . On our first visit, Dr. Rose did a thorough exam of Nikka and informed us that Nikka had an unusual heart murmur. A different vet at a conventional clinic that had seen Nikka just a few weeks earlier also mentioned the heart murmur but said it was very mild/quiet and didn't seem concerned about it all and didn't give us any indication that it needed to be investigated. I thought that the murmur must be no big deal based on how the first vet handled the finding. Dr. Rose immediately told us that Nikka's heart murmur was quite pronounced and unusual sounding and she gave us a lot of info and recommendations on next steps. . Well, today we took Nikka to a cardiologist where she had an ECHO and it turns out she has dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM), which, thankfully, has been caught early and might be able to be improved with medication and dietary changes. . Dr. Rose literally saved Nikka's life with her attention to detail, her excellent clinical skills, and her prompt and informative follow up and recommendations. I will be eternally and forever grateful to her competence and expertise. . Nikka has also had 2 sessions of acupuncture and cold laser/photobiomodulation and she definitely has more pep in her step. Nikka also loves coming to Serenity Holistic Vet, she isn't anxious or nervous and just settles right down and relaxes when the acupuncture needles are in. Dr. Rose is a gem and we are so lucky to have her here in Murrieta.
