Great local brunch spot. Unique menu for food and drinks. Out of the way, but worth the serach.

Home for the holidays and the family told me about a brewery at the old NADC/NATC. They have gluten-free options! Yes let's go! I got a flight of the 3 GF beverages that the make in house: a pear seltzer, a cinnamon whiskey spiked cider (Syzygy), and an apple pie cider. They were all great, but really liked the Sygyzy. I followed those with a pumpkin spiced old fashioned. All the coctails are made with liquor distilled in PA. Very nice, with a hint of vanilla. Mom and Dad got beers. For food, I got a gluten free (cauliflower crust) pizza, and mom got the gluten-ful version of the same...plain basic pie. They offer toppings, but none really interested me. Dad got the garlic parmesan wings, which he really liked! 10 per order. For the gluten free pizza, I confirmed before ordering that they don't place it on the pans with other pizza. It is cooked on its own disposable tray. A day later and I'm not sick! So for GF food options, that's all there is. But it was good! When I grew up around here, this building was part of a military research and training center. Eventually the government decommissioned it and gave us a brewery! There's more to it but if you go on a Sunday, they have tours of the whole "Fuge" (centrifuge) building that give you all the stories and history. I'm hearing it secondhand, but it sounds cool.

Everything was very good. My wife loved her mimosa flight. The breakfast burrito was sooooo delicious. Cool vibe with the outdoor seating at brunch.

Have to tell you, we were both impressed with food and beer! Stephanie who waited on us was exceptional! Back to my hometown and was not expecting to be blown away with the beer quality and finish and taste! #174 brewery I have been to, and wow, tripping down memory lane where I saw the Blue Angels and the centrifuge in the same building as Tranquility! All the details of names and decor of the place and beer was just a Moon Shot! I will be taking some of my guys here! Decor was great as long as you know the history of 1969, if not, the learn! I enjoyed every splashdown of beer going down and my wife loved the pumpkin, I did too!, and I don't like pumpkin beers! I mean. Come on People! I have to say the brewer must be accomplished, I tasted 4 beers, they were awesome! Will be back!

Mission Control to Yelp: I actually visited prior to "launch", and despite not getting the full experience, I liked it enough to give it an early 5 star review. Tranquility Brewing is a part of The Fuge venue. The Fuge is named for its large centrifuge in the building as it was an astronaut training facility in years past. This is why the brewery has an outer space theme, and makes for a very cool experience. For awhile I was the only patronaut in the bar as it was a week prior to the official opening. The owners were very personable and sat down and told me the history of the building. Their beers weren't ready yet, but they let me sample the Caramel Apple Pie cider and Mango Wheat straight from the vats. They were both cosmically good! They kitchen was running in full g-force and their menu was quite large, which is unusual as most local breweries just have food trucks orbiting them. I got the Tranquility Chilli and it was stellar. There is a nice outside patio and the owners plan on a having a lot of bands play there. It likes to be a great summer hangout spot. I look forward to coming back for the grand opening and full beer menu soon.

Awesome new brewery!! Located inside the Fuge which is an amazing building!! The brewery does offer tours of the building so definitely inquire about that prior to coming!! Great beer selection. Awesome food. They also have signature cocktails for those that do not drink beer. They have live music. Their patio is very nice and comfortable. They also have an escape room inside the Fuge. You can make a very fun day!! The best part is they are dog friendly!! I definitely recommend this brewery.

Just had the beer. The brew was good. The setting was quaint. It was an old garage turned into a bar. Nothing bad to say.

I am not disqualifying their experience but it is very odd it was so different. It was a hot, humid, rainy Saturday and the A/C was just fine when we got in. I will admit my first view through the door was a little hesitant but push on in and it was fine. The design goes for a comfy industrial setting. They have a good selection of beer and cocktails using a lot of local producers so there is a wonderful chance for you to find what you want to drink. The prices on the menu looked a little steep but the servings were generous and the food was very good. I had the best wings I've had in a long time with a nice crispness to the skin. My wife and I had a good time and found it lots of fun. If I was going to suggest a change it would be some sort of uniform for the servers. Hypsters in comfortable clothing fine but the issue is they blend in with some of the customers. I was talking to one guy thinking he was a server. It's one thing to be comfortable but professionally you need to stand out from the customers. but otherwise, this was a great time.

After getting seating, we waited nearly 20 minutes before our server stopped by. She poured us warm water (seriously!) and took our drink orders. We waited another 15 minutes for 3 of the worst mixed drinks. Turns out they had 2 novice bartenders working that didn't know what they were doing. (From our server's mouth!) We paid our tab and left for much better establishments down the street.

With about 250 children and adults in attendance, the space handled the crowd effortlessly while still feeling immersive and electric from every angle. The Fuge itself is unlike any venue you'll ever step into. The history, the scale, the sheer character of the space--it's not just a backdrop, it's a canvas. And what makes it truly special is how that canvas can be transformed into literally anything you can imagine. I didn't just host a party--we built an experience. And none of that happens without the absolute dream team running the show: Jimmy is, simply put, a wizard. His command of audio/visual is on another level. Every cue, every transition, every visual element landed flawlessly. The lighting, the sound, the integration of all the moving parts--it was seamless and honestly mind-blowing. I spent 10-11 months working on AI-driven visuals and a custom montage for the immersive projection screen system, and seeing it all come to life--projected on an unbelievably massive, Disney/Epcot-like scale--was nothing short of surreal. It completely transformed the room and elevated the entire experience to another level. Allison kept the entire operation running like a Swiss watch. Organized, proactive, and always one step ahead, she made what could have been overwhelming feel completely under control. Heather handled contract management with precision and ease--making sure every promise she made came to life, stayed connected and on track. And Sam--the owner, the overseer, the visionary. You can feel his influence in every inch of the place. The Fuge isn't just a venue; it's clearly his passion project brought to life, and that energy trickles down into everything and everyone involved. Now let's talk about the food--because wow. The catering staff absolutely delivered from start to finish. Every course, every bite, every presentation was on point. And the servers and bartenders? First-rate across the board--attentive, professional, and somehow always exactly where you needed them before you even knew you needed them. What truly set the night apart, though, was how seamlessly The Fuge allowed me to layer in incredible elements: Cirque du Soleil-style aerialists soaring above the crowd, an insane laser show by Steve Paradis, high-energy hip hop dancers from "I Am Phresh," and of course the unbelievable band "Don't Call Me Francis", who turned the entire place into a nonstop party. And then there were those moments--the ones people keep bringing up days later. Like when the aerialists were performing overhead while the lasers cut through the foggy room and the dance floor was completely packed--it felt like something you'd see in Vegas or Broadway, not at a B'nai Mitzvah. Or when the entire room hit that perfect peak--music, lights, energy all synced--and you could look around and see every single person fully in it, not a phone in sight, just pure celebration. And somehow--despite all of that--it never felt chaotic. It felt intentional. Elevated. Perfectly executed. Bottom line: if you're looking for a venue that doesn't just host your event but helps you blow people's minds, The Fuge is it. Fair warning: once you experience an event here, the bar is permanently raised. There's really no going back. Andrew Dunn
