Worked with this body shop. Scheduling to get in took a bit because they have quite a heavy business load. Once in they did awesome work. Communicated regularly and identified problems early - had a hell of a time with my insurance company, nothing to do with Trans Auto. They worked through it professionally and quickly, bending over backwards to solve problems. In the end, I had a car that was worked on quickly, extra work thrown in, came in under budget and the car looks great. All this despite issues with my insurance company. Tran's is the only place I will take a car for body work. He is very honest and provides updates on repairs as he performs them. He helped me repair the back of my Honda Fit when I was rear-ended in a parking lot and corrected issues with my front bumper which was "fixed" from another accident by another shop. It may seem "easier" going to a big brand in body work but in my experience Tran was more honest, affordable, reliable, and quick. More importantly, I haven't had to get anyone to re-fix his work. What a great experience I had dealing with Huu to have my daughters Mazda3 fixed. I needed the driver side fender replaced and painted. Trans Auto Body was recommended to me for superior yet affordable workmanship and they delivered! My son hit the steel post at the end of my gated driveway damaging the truck bed and the rear passenger side door. Huu kept my out-of-pocket costs down by repairing the damage rather than replacing the bed panels and door skin. Huu even fixed and repainted some of the over-the-fender flares, which had been gouged, scraped, and damaged over the years. Top notch work on my 10 year old Tundra that looks like new again! After a mishap with the bumper on our car, we looked into other shops adn got repair costs through the roof. I looked in Yelp and saw Tran's Auto Body which had a lot of overwealmingly positive reviews. I decicieded to give them a chance, even though they were a half hour drive from where I live and it was well worth the drive to have our car fixed here. I messaged Huu on Yelp and he was extremely quick to reply to every message and gave me a quick quote which was much less than the other guys. The other employees at his shop were very friendly and helpful when dropping my vehicle off. Huu was super flexible with me dropping and picking up my car when I could make it work around my busy work schedule and the distance between the shop and my home. Huu kept me updated on the process of my vehicle and even finished a day earlier than I was told! The bumper on our car looks absoltely flawless now! The price he quoted was the price we paid and he even had quite the list of methods we could pay to help avoid paying extra fees, which is nice in this day and age with so many easy digital options out there. Fast, great work, great price, and very friendly hard-working staff. I had them work on my 2008 Range Rover that been sideswiped. There's a large dent in the back where I've been hit by another truck and scuff marks on the door where they skid against my car. They were able to buff out the marks and use paintless dent repair and the total charge is only $80 I couldn't believe it. I tipped them in the gentleman who worked on my car because I almost felt like it wasn't fair for them to do it for that cheap. I'm so happy to have found an auto body shop that does such great work at such a great price. My girlfriend Isbgoing to bring both her Mercedes and her Lexus here to get some dents fixed that have been haunting her for a long time. I went out one morning to get estimates from three body repair shops for my Honda Civic. First stop was Tran's. The estimate was far below what I expected, I didn't even bother going to the other two places. They did a remarkable job on everything. It looks like new again and was all completed within the schedule they promised. I was going to drop off the car and take a taxi home, but no, not only did Huu give me a ride home, but he picked me up when my car was ready. Folks, this is what REAL customer service is all about. This place appeared shady and I believe a lot of these reviews are written by the company themselves. The owner would not give me an estimate on the work needed. Go to MAACO or collision caliber where they will at least give you a free detailed estimate printed out once they've analyzed the damage. I went to see Huu Tran with my front bumper headlight broken on my Infi G35. He upfront told me what he can do and at the reasonable price with 3 days to turnover. He fixed the bumper and told he will not charge me any additional of what he is mentioned before because he felt he did not fix what he promised before. He is such a humble and nice guy he not only did the great work but also mentioned that he will insert the bumper bracket free of cost if I get that part (bumper bracket) next week. Our son was involved in an accident that caused pretty serious front end damage to his pontiac sunfire. This car was a family hand me down & we knew it was sound mechanically. We figured the cost to repair the car would cost more than the car was worth but decided to get some estimates just in case. The car had been towed to our home with radiator damage. We called several auto body shops in Arlington based off of reviews. I was reluctant at first to call Tran's as his ratings just seemed to good to be true. Wow am I glad I called this business. The owner Huu answered. I explained our situation & Huu immediately offered to come to our home & give us an estimate. He actually came out the day I called him. My car got beaten pretty bad during March hail storm and then I was in a car collision. They had to change all the major car parts but I'm glad to say it looks and feels like new. He had it finished on time as promised. and did an excellent job on the bumper cover. Update on earlier review: having a problem with the cruse control not working after the repairs. Have spent some time with Tran trying to figure out what is wrong. Discovered that the used fuel injection throttle body he bought for my car was for the wrong model. I had requested he try to save me all $'s he could, a $900 part new from dealer. No return or exchange is possible from the seller. I do not hold him responsible for this as it was not his error. However, Tran has continued to find some reasonably inexpensive solution and has offered a couple of ways to address it at no cost to me. I have not been able to take it back to him the last two weeks, but I am convinced he will make it right. The more time I spend with him the more pressed I am with him as a very good body shop business man and as a person of great character. He has not only made me a satisfied customer, but a new friend. read more

I had a very bad accident with my Nissan, with severe damages to almost the entire car (2 fenders, 2 bumpers, 1 door, and a quarter panel). After reading the reviews here, I decided to take my car to this shop, and within 8 days, I picked up an almost brand new Nissan from Mr. Huu's body shop. The price was INCOMPARABLE to anywhere else, I had more than 5 estimates for the repair from different body shops, but this one was by far the least expensive repair, and his work is absolutely impeccable. He was courteous (offering to drive me to my rental car shop), patient (listened to my concerns) and affordable (a rare thing among body shops). Dealing with Mr. Tran is so easy and effortless. It's like talking to your best friend. My bumper issue became a bigger problem than originally thought and Mr. Tran went above and beyond to make it right.
