When I was getting estimates on how much it would cost to fix the hail damage to my car, I nearly cried. Luckily Tran's Auto Body was able to save me money on my deductible and rescue my car from all the dimples and dents from the hail damage to make it smooth like a baby's bottom. So I got stupid and accidentally (no other way) messed up my front bumper on the passenger side. (sigh) I got online looking for a shop to repair the bumper. I came up with several with really good reviews including Tran's. Sitting at 6:23 on a Saturday morning in front of my computer, I contacted a couple of shops online. Tran's was the first to respond at 8:25 that same morning. They asked for pics, and confirmed my worst fear, a new bumper was needed. They quickly sent me a quote from looking at the pics. I had been up all night, had a headache, and didn't want to deal with it that day. So on Monday, I decided to take it to a shop closer to home for a second estimate (good idea to shop around) and then Tran's because I wanted them to actually see the damage so the estimate would be more accurate. (Old ladies are like that.) The new estimate I got was a little over $100 more because of paint and bumper type. YIKES! SIGH! I decided to go with Tran's anyway as I really felt comfortable with the people I dealt with. Finally got my car in on a Monday, and was told it would take around 3 days or so. Ok. My luck was that on the way home, my daughter got rear-ended at a stop sign, and her car was totaled. UGH. I contacted Tran's on Wednesday for an update. They said it wouldn't be ready till Monday as they were short a person. I told them my dilemma and what had happened. In their e-mails, they seemed genuinely concerned about the situation and throughout the day contacted me with advice for my daughter. Then, they said they'd have the car ready for me on Friday. True to their word, the car was ready Friday afternoon. And the actually bill was only $20 or so over the very first estimate, not a $100 over. That pleased me greatly. I truly appreciated the quick response, the friendliness of the people I dealt with, and their concern for my daughter's accident. They even offered if I lived in Arlington, to come get me so I could get the car. Most definitely I will use them again. The work they did looks great. read more

The first time I went to Trans, I had JUST gotten my car back from another accident where I had a HORRIBLE repair experience (45 days to fix) with Service King only to have my car dragged from a gas pump by a cement truck while I was inside getting a drink... go figure right? So I looked this place up on yelp and saw all the 5 star reviews and thought, there is no way, this has to be rigged, but decided I would give it a go anyways... and I was not disappointed... I cannot rave enough about Tran's! He even took me to Enterprise when they couldn't come and get me to pick up my rental and helped me to drop it off. So painless! They are cheaper than most other places, easy to schedule with, quick, efficient and very customer conscious! And for a female with no car knowledge, the fact that he isn't trying to upsell me on 1000 things my car DOESN'T need just to make a buck is unbelievably refreshing... The 2nd time I went to Trans, I had just been told by a dealership that I had a nail in my tire that was in the sidewall and I needed to get a new one because it wasn't fixable. So I called Tran's to see if they did tires or could recommend a place for me... not ONLY did he remember who I was almost 5 months later (who does that????), but he told me to bring it in so he could look at it because he might be able to plug it for me. So I go in same day, and he locates the nail that is NOT in my side wall... not even close, middle tread and totally fixable!!!! It made me want to drive to that dealership and punch them in the face for the blatant lie! With a 20 minute fix, they managed to save me, at a minimum, $120 on a new tire I didn't even need, when they don't even DO tires. The man is a saint and if it wasn't inappropriate, I would kiss him for taking care of me like that! It is a rare thing indeed and I will send anyone and everyone I know their way! read more

I brought Trans my VW CC Lux after having poor experiences elsewhere. I'm extremely picky about my car. It needed the passenger front door and fender repaired (replaced fender - repaired door). I explained my concern about overspray, poor paint match, orange peel, etc that I experienced at the large dealership shops previously. Huu told me he'd take care of me and even save me some coin. He was dead on with his estimated time and walked me through everything making sure I was 100% happy. I'm blown away. Cheaper than the big body shops and significantly cleaner work. No overspray, perfectly sanded/buffed paint, and an overall great experience. If you care about your car- take it here. If you care to save money- take it here. The outward appearance of the shop is dusty, busy, and at first glance unorganized. Our experience was great at Trans Auto Body. I noticed it was highly recommended on Yelp. My wife's CRV was rear-ended and we needed some body work done. We weren't disappointed. He is very patient, understanding, customer-friendly, reliable, and exhibits a strong ethic. His shop staff do impeccable work and appear to love their trade. The body work was done on time and, much more importantly, done very well! The paint matches nicely, a beautiful silver. An excellent and solid job for the collision repair of my Lexus. The owner Mr. Huu - a very skillful and professional person - firstly discussed the collision damages with honest manner. He suggested several options that include brand new part replacements, or used part replacements associated with very reasonable prices. My Lexus repair included replacements of two door frames, internal body frames, air bags and many sensors as well as correcting some outside frame damages and repainting the whole body of the car stems from the front bumper to the rear bumper. Such a bodywork associated with these listed many repair items normally takes more than 2 weeks, but he finished all in two weeks. I cannot complain anything for his work, ALL ARE JUST EXCELLENT. He has also mentioned that the car body-painting work encompasses a lifetime guarantee. Nobody wants to be involved in any collision, but if I have in the future, I will definitely visit this "Tran's Auto Body" for the repair of the collision again. Besides, this is a completely irrelevant issue to the collision, but it is noteworthy that one of door window motors of my car was broken, but he repaired it immediately with a very reasonable price. read more

Best Collision/Auto Body Shop in a SEA of Shops! My boyfriend's prized 2013 Dodge Challenger met-up with a curb, and did some damage to the left front quarter panel, driver's side door, and bumper. After seeing the fabulous Yelp reviews about Tran's, he decided to have his Challenger towed there. Tran met with us personally, explained what he'd do, and the work was finished within two weeks! Somebody backed into my car and caused the back bumper to slightly pop out at the seam and the rear driver side reflector to fall into the bumper. I took my car to the Mazda dealership and they said I needed a whole new bumper because the socket that holds the reflector was broken. Mr. Tran body shop did a wonderful job on my van going get the rest of scratches out and get my passages side mirror blinker light fixed. My van had dents all over it and some really deep scratches on my tailgate door from husband not paying attention closed our garage door while my tailgate door was open. Another time again my husband was coming around the corner while I was driving into the garage the door started to close knock off my antenna. He gave me excellent advice on how to deal with the other guys insurance company, and was able to take my father's Toyota Tundra in when we got back to Texas.
