If I could put a half star or a negative star, I would. This review is 20 days in the making! I got a dishwasher from the Brick on the 8th of January and Trans Global installed it and cost me $895. The guy who "installed" it, noticed that the valve was broken and had the audacity to say that I would have to purchase a valve. I responded that "The valve SHOULD be included on installation." They installed it anyways and "it's working" but wasn't because water was not going through. I called the head office and the same install guy came and "fixed" it by pouring water in the drainage in the washer. The day after I called again stating and told them the same issue. They say they "send someone in on the 21st to fix it." The 21st came and went and NO ONE showed up! I called the next day and they told me that "My appointment is on hold because I can't pay for a valve part and Admins are in talks with the store and will get back to me." And seven days later, that is the last time I heard from them! I am surprised that this company is still in business. Poor customer service, poor service in general! They like to gouge! This was the first and LAST time I'll shop at the Brick as well!! read more

Your service was terrible the tec said parts would be ordered, but when I called them I was told tech said dishwasher could not repair. I would have never known this because we were not told this information, from TRAN GLOBLE SERVICE. I would given them half star but that wasn't the option. I have an issue with my microwave latch and after several follow up I got scheduled after 3 weeks just for the Technician to come and tell me that this was just an inspection. It looked like the Technician had no clue of what he was sent for. They could have asked for pictures or videos to order the right part and could have scheduled just once for the repair work specially when people are taking time off from their work. I would never purchase any product which offers their warranty coverage. I followed up today after almost 3 weeks from inspection and was told that they do not have an ETA yet. The communication was poor. My microwave/oven required a fix and I already diagnosed it. They insisted on diagnosing it again 3 weeks later with a service call. Then took 3 weeks to tell me that the order has been placed. Then months to tell me the shipment was on backorder. We had to contact them every time. Then they did not communicate with Electrolux for me. An issue that could have taken weeks took 4 months and I was without an oven the whole time. Try to get a different provider if the manufacturer tells you to go with them. read more

I have never dealt with a company as frustrating as this company. Their service technician was absolutely awesome. As for the company itself; totally incompetent. Took 10 weeks to fix my washing machine. I will give them 4 weeks while they "tried" to get parts. Nobody on the phone knows anything, nobody returns your calls; even though they say they will in 2 business days; you have to phone back. If you ask a pointed question, all you get is "we can't tell you that". We will make sure that we don't get caught using this company ever again!!!!! My GE fridge had an issue and the manufacture instructed me to reach out to trans global as they're the only certified company in the GTA. I would rate it negative 3000 stars if I could. Trans Global uses 3rd party technicians and takes no responsibilities whatsoever when there's an issue. Installer never showed up and never called on the appointment day after I had paid for the service call. I called trans global 9 times that day and got transferred from agent to agent without any update. I managed to find the technician's number on google, called him, got told he was busy (WTF you could have just called me and tell me you were running behind???!!!?). No apology and he actually hung up on me in the end. He later showed up at 4:35PM after my tenant had asked for the entire day off and waited for him to show up between 8 to 4 PM which was the actual time window he was supposed to show up or at least called. He was there for less than 5 mins and left. 107 dollars gone and neither my tenant and I worked that day because we were on the phone with Trans Global the whole time trying to locate this damn technician. Now I have to install a new fridge and I'm again stuck with trans global because they are the only GE certified company in Toronto. Apparently their install and service teams don't exchange information and I have to pay for someone to just come in and inspect again before they can do any install??? What's there to inspect??? It's a freaking fridge replacement job. You uninstall the old one and plug in the new one. They are running a scam and taking advantage of people who have no choice but to go with them. If you have the freedom to choose, please do yourself an favour and stay away from this absolutely nightmare of a company. Trans Global, I sincerely hope you go out of business. I will leave negative comments whenever I can and warn as many people as I can to stay the hell away from you. UPDATE: paid $110 for the freaking inspection before they could install the new fridge and surprise surprise the install technician didn't show up on time either!!!! I had to call the 3rd party contracting company again myself AFTER I had paid SCAMS Global. Why the f is my problem to make sure YOUR technician arrives on time????? And where is my quote???? WORST COMPANY EVER.. Keep in mind the BRICK OWNS TGS. This is why they push the extra warranty on you. I have SPENT over $15,000 closer to 20,000. First time using the under 1 year warranty, they were in and out in less than 5 mins. Still not fixed, they needed to call samsung.... The couch that we got fixed, plus i need the chair fixed they said they will be back for that one in 2 to 3 days. 2.5 weeks latter they brought the couch back and didn't take the chair. week later a guy came to the door and said, sorry i thought it was a service call i don't have anything to fix it with we will call you back 3 weeks later still nothing. be on HOLE FOR 80 MINS. read more

Gas stove not igniting. Service call requested and informed that it is not igniting. Week and a half later techinician shows up looks at it for 5 minutes says he will have to order part. This part should have been sent with him. It was not. Now he has to order it and then get back when he has a chance. How do you not have the part when you arrive at a house. I understand it could be something else but odds are very low. Now we wait again. Weeks without a part. @Leons you need to get someone else to handle your maintenance. This is not the first time this has happened with this company. Every time it happens with this company. Technician tells me it is the company as they didn't give hime the part. He has to take some blame as I knew what the issue was and I am not an appliance repair person. TransGlobal Service should have their license revoked. read more

A repair person came to our house with the wrong part for our bar fridge. This is the THIRD time a repair person has come to our house regarding this fridge. We started this process in late September. Your company is VERY discoordinated. The call center can not tell you details and when they don't know the answer they pretend the cell service is bad and hang up. The local repair people don't know what is going on, The parts people continue to order the wrong part, then it takes another 2 weeks to re book service I tried to contact TransGlobal management via the "CONTACT US" email messaging system IT DOES NOT WORK. If I could give this company less than 0 stars I would. I have been waiting three weeks for a part to fix my washing machine. I've called multiple times but they never have information. Now I'm waiting 3-5 days to hear from the Part Department. I bought the extended warranty from CAS believing that it was a good idea but I was so wrong. If you know that your extended warranty is with this company or from W3 Solutions don't get because they do not care about fixing your appliance in a timely fashion and no one has any information. read more

This company does not follow up with you and the only way to contact them is to call their customer service line and wait on hold for an hour. I have NEVER EVER experienced such bad service from a company before ! Do yourself a favor and find another company to fix your appliances. 5 weeks after our initial call and our dishwasher is still broken. Zero communication unless I called in to speak to customer support. They could not even give me the name of a manager, a phone number other than their main line or an email address to voice my concerns to management. I am guessing this is because there are just too many complaints that they would have to deal with. Their technician questioned why we were bothering to fix the dishwasher ($400) ??? really, maybe because we don't want to throw something away that can possibly be fixed ! It will also cost us $1400 to get the same dishwasher, purchased, delivered and installed ! The technician did a quick 5 minute overview as to what could be wrong with the dishwasher - when the part arrived a week later - he came to fix it, only to find that his preliminary "investigation as to the source of the problem" was not 100% correct. Fast forward another 4 weeks and we are still waiting. No communication, nothing ! Well we've ordered a new dishwasher - they'd better NOT expect me to pay for any of their shoddy work or their parts ! read more

Been dealing with them for over 4 months, first it was a part that was on back order and now it's the back and forth between them and electrolux on the approval of the work order. My Broan kitchen hood infra red control panel stopped responding after 14 months of usage. My first langage is French and it was very difficult to get someone to send a technician. When he finally came, he did not have the required parts to fix the problem. I asked him to send me a cost estimate of the parts and time needed to repair my hood in order to submit it to my credit card insurance. The estimate was not sent. It was impossible for me to reach the repairman directly, so I had to go through the general number and wait, and wait, and wait. I finally used the chat and everything was settle there. I received my estimate and forwarded it to the insurance company. They replied that the estimate was missing information and now I have to go through the general number again to get in touch with the repairman. I have never seen such a poor service. They are in a hurry to get money to send a repairman that doesn't repair anything, doesn't write a clear estimate, and is unreachable afterward. Moreover, the estimate to repair my kitchen hood cost more than its purchase price !! Don't waste your time with this company. read more

I had purchased this warranty on 2 Brick appliance purchases a few years ago. In particular the fridge had multiple ongoing issues. One of which occured just past the 1 yr Man warranty. The fridge was unuseable and resulted in being without this unit for almost 3 months as a result of delays from TransGlobal. They were called multiple times (weekly) for the repairs to be done. There was also food loss in this unit as a result of this failure. I was told, by transglobal, at the time that part of this was claimable for reembursement. After a lengthy documentation of losses and compiling these items for email I have yet to get any compensation which is now going on 4 years. In addition, I have since had the fridge fail 5 more times with lengthy wait times for repair. It has now recently began to fail again and once again ......where is transglobal service.....nowhere to be found. This company and its coverages are fraudulent and lacking in any (not at all) customer service. Having said that, I will never buy any Samsung products ever again. No will my friends after seeing what misery this brand has caused my family in its failures. read more

Had a Kenmore Elite fridge compressor failure made by LG at 2 years old confirmed by two repairmen. Transglobal replaced the compressor. One month after repair and within warranty period, fridge broke again and Transglobal repairman came and looked at it completely, stated that compressor needed replacing again and that he would do so. Did not hear from company for 2 weeks so I called and Transglobal changed their story and said that it was a blocked tube and could not be repaired. Strongly suspect company is lying as these compressors are known for a high failure rate. I asked to talk to the manager and was given a lame excuse that the system would need to be rebooted and she did not know when manager was available. She said manager would call back within 24 hours. Techs have no skill or training. Staff taking calls at Transglobal seem pleasant and professional but it ends there. The techs coming to do the work are untrained and incompetent. took two of them most of a day to replace a module in my range. they assembled it wrong and were proudly leaving when I called them to point out that panels and parts including the cooktop were assembled wrong, misaligned and not secured with proper hardware. one of them tried to fix the botched job. He made some small improvements in getting parts to fit better and told me he had fixed it. I collected numerous screws and parts off the floor and asked about them. He lied about them not being needed. Now I have parts and panels with screws missing. Threads stripped in some holes. Parts loose. Trying to get someone competent here to fix it right but have to go back to the warranty provider - King and State - which is whole other nightmare. read more

One year later and still without a working Dishwasher It has been nothing but disaster dealing with Transglobal and their dishwasher technicians. Originally, I placed a call Feb 2019 for the control panel change in my dishwasher. Since then, I have taken over 6 days off from work (Vacation lost) for the technicians to come and in the process, they broke the door (Seal and other parts). Multiple technicians have come with different opinions. Bottom line after a year of waiting and 6 days taken off my vacation pay, they have given up and they are not fixing the dishwasher that they broke themselves. Meanwhile I have paid for this service for the last 10 years and when it comes to use the service to repair my dishwasher they fail to do it. They come in break my dishwasher and then they tell me they can not fix it. They don't even deserve a 1 start. Worst company to deal with. They are not accountable for their mistake. I have asked them to put themselves in my shoe for a year no service meanwhile they have been taking the monthly payments promptly from the account. I will be contacting the Global TV to report this and hopefully more people become aware of how Transglobal works and treats their paying clients. read more

I called them for a dishwasher issue , they were courteous and helpful. The repairman showed up when he said he would he was respectful friendly and fixed it very quickly. I would recommend this company for appliance repair. read more
