    Light show

Should be called a light and music show. This is NOT an orchestra! Maybe 10 musicians 3 singers and dancers. I was expecting an orchestra so I was disappointed. I wouldn't have been disappointed if I knew I was going to a light/music show. Very expensive for a music/light show. Take earplugs, very loud!

This show rocks !!!!! I took my wife daughter & grandchildren. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed.

    Before the show.

Not sure what the hype is about. Yes, some talented musicians, but the show itself was confusing. Xmas essence but not? Seemed divided between Christ and Satan to be honest, which lent to the overall confusion for most I believe. Depressing theme to start, sexual innuendo with young female children and a male in a video, confusing storyline, just weird all around. Very '80's but not in a good way, 80's tech-ish. Would have been a little more tolerable if they just played music, skip the narration and very odd video story background, and dial back the light show. Do not recommend. Worst concert experience ever. Also - how do venues get away with charging $7.50 for a 500ml bottle of pop? It's criminal!

2023 VyStar Arena, Jacksonville, FL. Just left. Disappointed. Great light show but very "balloty" not that uplifting rock show they use to put on. My 22 year old son actually fell asleep. Sorry, not worth the money.

12.03.21 Trans-Siberian Orchestra "Christmas Eve and Other Stories" at the Golden 1 Center [Sacramento CA]

TSO 2021 Winter Tour: Christmas Eve and Other Stories [Sacramento CA] They were at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento. They hosted two shows on December 3rd. We attended the 7:30p show. We were on the nosebleed 200 level seats but it actually wasn't too bad because we didn't need to see the faces of the performers, not like a Broadway show or a play... it was an incredible view watching the light show, a spectacular sight in itself and a more desirable view from our angle looking below because we could see everything. Audio was great in the back, not bassy or garbled had we had seats close to the front stage. Those speakers are set to pump out a lot of volume because the sound waves have to make their way around all those bodies and other objects in the venue. The main thing I wanted to watch was the "Carol of the Bells" performance. When this song plays on the radio it's officially Christmas LoL! (imho) Best Christmas song especially their version. It was performed in the first hour of the concert so it was cool that we didn't have to wait until the end. I didn't recognize any of the songs performed but I liked the instrumental medley of classic Christmas songs like "O Come Let Us Adore Him" and "O Holy Night." Blas Elias! He is one of two drummers for TSO. We also saw him perform in "Raiding the Rock Vault" at Las Vegas twice. The venue was much smaller at the Hard Rock so we were able to watch him up close. Excellent musician! Fun to watch him rock those drums! Lastly, we did not stay for the entire show. We must've stayed for 1.5 hours. No intermission. I think the show still ran for another hour. Hubby was mostly concerned about getting out of the parking garage. Was stuck inside there once after attending another concert and it was chaotic and took forever getting out. We played it safe and just left early. Review #2457

Horribly amateur, loud, phony, and just plain awful show. Felt like we were at a church revival not a Christmas concert.

    How long is the show?

At least an hour of good rock and roll Christmas theme, then it gets weird / Dark / people even left early and I should have, I don't think I will every go again.

Unfortunately, compared to our first couple of visits, our experiences gradually started going downhill. I will absolutely give credit where it's due -- the drinks and craftsmanship here are excellent. The bartenders really know their craft, make great recommendations, and we've had some seriously amazing cocktails here. Unfortunately, on multiple visits we started to feel increasingly unwelcome. It's honestly difficult to explain because there wasn't necessarily one specific interaction I can point to, but there was a noticeable feeling that we just weren't wanted there. Whether it was certain interactions with staff or simply the overall energy around us, we both picked up on it more than once. I don't know if it was because we didn't necessarily fit the typical demographic or vibe of the crowd there, and I don't want to assume anyone's intentions. I can only speak to how we felt, and unfortunately, we repeatedly left feeling uncomfortable and out of place. It's genuinely such a shame because we loved this bar so much in the beginning. It has such a fun atmosphere, and the cocktails are fantastic. We have some really great memories from our earlier visits, but after feeling this way on multiple occasions, we've decided we won't be returning.

Some of my coworkers even came out to celebrate with us, which made the night even more fun. I'm 37, and while the crowd was mostly older adults that night (probably because of the band that was playing), I honestly loved the atmosphere. The live band was entertaining, everyone was having fun, and I spent a good part of the night dancing. The staff was one of the highlights of the evening. They were friendly, welcoming, laughing, dancing, and genuinely looked like they enjoyed being there. Their positive energy made the whole experience even better. I ordered the onion rings, and they were delicious--golden, crispy, and full of flavor. It's classic bar food done right. I didn't get any pictures of the food because I was too busy enjoying the night, but they were definitely worth ordering. This was my first visit, even though my family has been here many times before, and now I understand why. Between celebrating with my family and coworkers, the live music, the dancing, the friendly staff, and the great atmosphere, we had an absolute blast. The video clips I'm sharing aren't the greatest because I was dancing while recording, but they still capture how much fun everyone was having.

Trying to book my mom's 50th birthday party was a nightmare. Emails went unanswered, phone calls weren't returned, and I ultimately had to drive there in person just to get the event booked. After finally securing the date, I waited for a follow-up regarding the details, only to discover that the general manager had been let go. I was given the new GM's name and phone number, but despite multiple calls and text messages, I was completely ghosted. This left me scrambling to find another venue with only one month before an important family celebration. No customer should be left hanging like that after booking an event. This was actually my second chance giving Lola's another opportunity because I genuinely like the vibe of the place. The first time, my group of only six people was still enjoying drinks when staff told us we had to leave at 11:00 p.m. because there wasn't enough business to justify staying open. That experience was disappointing, but I decided to give them another shot anyway. Sadly, after this experience, I won't be returning. Great atmosphere means very little when communication, professionalism, and customer service are consistently lacking.

My 1st visit to a Yard House ever was this Glendale location in 2008. My friend invited me to this location citing their great happy hour. I remember I liked the sliders on the happy hour pricing, which was cheap back then. A wide variety of beer options and huge glasses the length of a half yard. A full yard would be difficult to drink and way too much beer to drink in one sitting; plus the beer would get warm & flat by the time you'd finish a whole yard of beer. Staff was nice at the Glendale location. Now, 18 years later happy hour is still good albeit different and yes more expensive but still good deal relative to normal price.
