They have a direct flight to and from, and the fares are decent. When you're flying so frequently, cheap flights are extremely preferred. Every employee I've interacted with has been positive and helpful. I've had awful customer service with another airline, and it was bad enough I try to avoid that airline as much as possible. With Southwest, I haven't had that problem. They have also gone out of their way to make me happy. I definitely appreciate that, especially in circumstances where it is absolutely my fault. Southwest has definitely earned my loyalty. When you're flying so frequently and still have nothing but positive things to say about an airline, you know they're doing something right.

The ability to use iMessage and WhatsApp for free once I connected to the in-flight WiFi was a bonus. My primary reason for giving Southwest Airlines only 2 stars is because of this airline's pricing tactics and in my experience, non-existent customer service. I went on Southwest's website and found flights I wanted, only to get an error when I attempted to book and pay. When I immediately tried to re-book just seconds later, the price per ticket for the same itinerary had increased significantly. Southwest customer service was no help when I contacted them, and replied to my messages with seemingly pre-written and "canned" responses that didn't actually address my reason for reaching out.

On board flight personnel were pleasant and professional. Only drawback are the total amount of flights available from LGA - St Louis, and the small cramped planes on this route. Both flights were those small commuter sized planes with two seats on either side, small overhead luggage pods, and barely enough head space to clear the top of the plane. If you're claustrophobic this might be a problem for some. Otherwise, both flights were on time and Delta does a good job.
