Located in Capital Heights, at my first appointment, it was kind of hard to spot. Be aware of the parking, as some of the spots are assigned. Upon walking in, use the door on the right to access the nail salon. Appointments are made online, and Tenecia prefers that appointments are made at the half hour only. No problems there. Nice selection of colors to choose from, and the place is clean. I noticed that Tenecia takes the time to clean the bowl in between clients, which I totally dig. Also, she uses new new tools, like emery boards, and buffers for each person. My first appointment was a gel mani (with designs of course) and a pedi. Let me tell you, it was one of thee best pedicures that I have EVER had. She is absolutely excellent at what she does. I loved the gel manicure as well, because she actually does a manicure; you know soaks the hands, trims the cuticles, massage, and the like. She totally takes her time. My nails were shaped beautifully, and they actually grew! Woop! My only issue, is that my mani didn't last as long as I would have expected, but that could totally be me, because I'm super hard on my nails. Oh, another plus is that she totally accommodated me (in between clients) when I chipped my toe...see uber hard on my nails. No matter here though; because, my services were done well, and it is fairly priced. I will definitely be returning.

The parking is very limited and the lot is kind of tight. There's a parking lot on the other side, so I parked there and walked the short distance over. The inside of the shop isn't very big. However, it wasn't crowded, so I think it wouldn't be a problem. Also I wasn't positive as to how to book nail designs, but Tenicia explained with no problem and now I know what to do when scheduling. Even with this, she was still able to accommodate me within my appointment time. I really appreciated that. I read a few reviews about Tenicia's attitude, but I didn't have an issue. She wasn't talkative, but I wasn't really looking for that. She came off as professional and cordial and that was perfectly acceptable in my book. She should be held accountable for how poorly she represented this salon. I arrived around 7:33 PM and even opted for gel polish (instead of regular) to be considerate of the time. She placed my feet in plain water with no soap, and I had to ask for a soak product. She then rushed into pushing my cuticles back without letting them properly soak. When I asked for a few minutes to soak, she snapped, "Do you want to do the pedicure or not?" and when I calmly responded "Yes but, not with disrespect." , she walked out mid-service--literally left the building--after speaking to another tech in another language. She tossed me to the other technician, who was also preparing to leave and couldn't finish me up. The worst part? As she walked out, [the original tech] she said "F* you" to me. * (listen closely to the video, you can hear her.) I left feeling completely disrespected and told the remaining tech (I think Ann) that her $20 fee for my toe tips (because the pedicure never got done) should be deducted from her paycheck due to her poor service. I asked a second time and explained that she was only 4 years old and could not hold it. Despite this, they still refused.
