I moved to the area from Massachusetts recently and I'm still looking for a decent nail salon that has nail techs that do a good job with the dip powder set. The salon itself is nice, clean, and they weren't busy for a Sunday afternoon. It was just me and one other woman. The staff were very accommodating and friendly and it was a perfect way to end my weekend....sort of. I want to started off by saying - My nails are real, I don't have anything added. I just always get the dipping powder because they keep my nails strong. The woman who did my nails tried her best, but for $60 I deserved a much better job. Whatever top coat she put on my nails is currently peeling off and it looks like trash. The pictures I've posted are from today (two days after getting my nails done), so I was definitely disappointed in my end result. The pedicure was much better and I have no complaints about that. I'd probably go back for a pedicure but I'm still apprehensive about the nails. I don't think it's worth it to be honest, and if you're charging those prices, at least be REALLY good. Anyway, overall my experience was okay. I will update if I end up going back there.

I love love love when I find a nail salon that can shape and paint RIGHT! This would be that salon! I dropped by around 2pm (clearly not a busy time for the weekday) and was the only client. Lynn did my fill in! She checked to see if any of my nails were lifting on the sides. If they were she broke the lift and fixed the problem (amen)! Everyone was very pleasant and the facility seemed clean. Price for a fill in and gel polish was $45 which to me is bit pricey (reason for 4 instead of 5 stars) but due to the amazing service, I'll be back!

I love my gel manicure and that pedicure was everything!

I'm from NYC where a mani and pedi is $20& a gel manicure is $25. Today I paid $62 for a gel manicure and pedicure. It hurt me to my core to pay that price but I will continue to do so at this salon. I had a great experience and I am pleased with the results! I left Zumba at L.A. Fitness and happened to search Yelp for a nail salon. Although there were a limited number of reviews I decided to give it a chance because they spoke highly of it. I'm glad I did! The best park of the pedicure was the towel in some kind of green solution that smelled great and relaxed me even more. They have a great selection of colors! My gel manicure had some problems with the polish selection at first but in the end we worked it out and I love it. Mimi was patient, didn't try to force conversation and did a great job! I will be back in 2 weeks!

Getting Summertime ready beautiful gel set.

After running around most of the day....I needed a little down time and to get out of th heat...I wondered into this nail salon. Lynn greeted me and set me up for a Pedi. She got the water the right temp and asked if I mind sitting for a while; heck yeah! She had me sitting for about 10 minutes and I was in heaven. I love when the tech let you enjoy and soak for your tired feet but it turned out she didnt take a break and needed to eat lunch (in my book win/win) The staff was friendly and Lynn chatted with me like I've been a customer for a long time and once she finished my pedi we started with my mani and again, another great experience. I hope service stays like this, I really enjoyed my experience and Lynn did a great job. I will be back.

DO Not use this salon! They over price people! Does this look like a $60? No! This is my daughter nails. I experienced the same thing months ago

Good experience. I didnt have to wait. The only thing I wish is that my gel lasted a little bit longer.

The lower leg is covered in some type of butter and then wrapped in a hot towel. Look how messy this look smh 6-9-17

Came here on 6/9/17 the day before my brothers wedding to get a pedicure. I was a walk in and was greeted by someone. I told the lady I just wanted a pedicure and she told me to pick my color. I waited for about 5 minutes until I was told to go to the pedicure area. The lady who serviced me was Rose. She NEVER asked me what type of pedicure I would like and I had to ask her what do they offer. She told me they have a spa pedicure and the deluxe pedicure. I went with the deluxe which was $46. Now I have been to many nail shops all through Maryland and know what's included in the different spa packages and how long the service should take. This experience has been THE SHORTEST I have ever experience when choosing the best pedicure package they offer. The massage that was given didn't feel like anything, it felt like she was just playing with my feet smh. In addition, when it came to the leg butter she just slapped it on rubbed it around my lower leg and then wrapped it in a hot white towel which was absolutely messy (see pic). Overall the place looked clean and she used all sterile equipment to do my pedicure. Although she was nice I definitely will not be back. If you offer a top of the line pedicure your customer should get a top of the line experience and it felt like a $20 basic pedicure.

I asked for the tech to not make my nails so thick like most places. Instead it's neat and flat. Love it

Good pics on Yelp, poor communication and treatment/ hospitality…read more. I called to schedule an appointment to ensure they had time for me and they answered yes. I walked in, was rushed to pick a color instead of greeted. Said I could grab some water, which was nice. The mumbling in Viet started as soon as I sat down, could really make you feel out of place. (Just because someone doesn't know the language doesn't mean they don't hear the tone and can pick up on context.) Cut me twice, apologized, and a couple other hiccups that I won't bother to mention. She lightened up throughout time, but I may have to give it a second thought before going again.. I still tipped well because the actual nails came out good. (My total ~$96.00)Not to my like, as she was not easy to tell what I wanted done. Lady came in right to the end of my service with an appointment, and needed to get acetone removed from her hands that lady doing my nails had wrapped in foil and said, "excuse me- can you--" (I'm sure her hands were either hurting or were uncomfortable), and lady doing my nails interrupted her loudly in front of the whole salon, to say she's almost done with me. I felt terrible for her since she had an appointment on top of that. The fact that there's a lot of competitors for you (Nova nails) should push you to improve in timing and care with how you talk to clients and be careful about what you say you can and can not do for a service. I'm still looking for a place that is both well at communicating with clients, and has the skill set for an awesome set. Please remember to treat people kindly. How you make someone feel is really important.

It shouldn't be this hard to get, and keep my nails done…read more Most of the nail technicians in here are (artistically) talented, however it's SO HARD to make an appointment. I have shared my concerns with the owner and asked her to implement an online scheduling system. She expressed reservations due to the fact that customers may not know what they want, booking one service online and then coming in expecting another. It's a shame to have such a valuable and sought-after product, but simultaneously making it so difficult for customers to get their hands on that product. Booking an appointment has become somewhat of a guessing game. I give them a date and a time of my desired appointment. They tell me that my preferred nail tech is not available, but NEVER say UNTIL WHEN. So I throw out another date. Same thing: Not available. On and on it goes. Instead of providing me with options (namely, telling me the next available date for my preferred nail tech, or other nail techs who have availability at that same day and time), they repeat what they don't have available, or ask me to blindly pick another nail tech that I've never worked with (I don't even know their names because I've never worked with them, so how can I be expected to pick them?). So I'm expected to be both psychic and memorize the roster of the staff here... Just to get an appointment?! In order to book appointments I had to call multiple times over multiple days until someone was able to give me enough information to book an appointment, reach out to the owner on Instagram, and even drive all the way to the nail salon.... JUST TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. I tried to make an appointment prior to the holidays before everything got booked up. Myself and another customer stood in line for at least 20 minutes in a practically empty nail salon while the owner's mother did someone's nails before she finally addressed us. Even then, she only handed us a register paper and told us to write down what services we wanted and when we wanted to come in, telling us that someone would call us to confirm (which never happened, by the way). We could have saved a lot of time if she had just asked us to do that and leave the paper on the counter while she finished her customer. After waiting 3 days, I finally called the salon and was told that they did not have my appointment request. Not surprising, given that it was scribbled on a piece of receipt paper that was given to me. Somebody probably threw away thinking that it was trash without following up. I tried to book my next two appointments to avoid this headache and was told that in order to book an appointment with my preferred nail tech, I now have to follow her on social media and DM her to try to book an appointment with her there. REALLY?! Instead of scraps of paper, or having to stalk somebody on Instagram, why not keep an old school appointment book, or even one online? It's really not that hard. These nail techs are also not great with time management. Many of my appointments have had to be rescheduled... For the middle of my work day. (Thank goodness for remote work) One of the (now former) nail techs completely forgot about my appointment and passed me off to somebody else without even acknowledging me or her oversight. Another nail tech pressured me into making an appointment earlier than I wanted, only for her to show up 45 minutes after the appointed time. No phone call, no update, no communication whatsoever. Just me sitting there wondering if this was another canceled appointment that they forgot to communicate to me. I say "another" because I had an appointment with the same technician that she canceled, but the salon did not leave me a message to let me know. The only way I found out is because I wanted to add something onto my existing appointment and when I called the salon, I was told that I no longer had an appointment because that person decided not to work that day. In addition to horrendous time management and the hoops you have to jump through to get an appointment, the nail retention is also poor... And ultimately that's why I chose to get my services done elsewhere. Like I said, artistically some of these nail techs do a good job, but in terms of actual quality of work... Not so much. I tried to make it work, because finding a new nail salon can be a pain. However, I started experiencing substantial lifting of my nails after practically every appointment. At one point, I even developed nail fungus under my acrylic, which one of the nail techs ignored completely and just covered with acrylic, and another who tried to tell me "That's not nail fungus, it's bacteria". Whatever it is, it's not supposed to be under my nails... And it wouldn't be if the work was done correctly. Aesthetically, this is one of the nicer looking nail salons in the area, but looks are deceiving. This salon presents a lot of challenges from a booking, customer service, and quality of work perspective.

Furthermore, if you are seeking a dipping powder service, I would advise requesting a different technician, as Aaliyah seemed to strongly encourage a gel builder instead. However, I maintained my preference, as I believe a service should always prioritize the client's wishes rather than the technician's convenience or potential upselling. Despite this experience, I do plan to return to the salon. I will, however, be much more discerning when selecting my nail technician next time. I observed other technicians who appeared very attentive and engaged with their clients, rather than being preoccupied with their phones. In summary, my one-star rating is specifically for Aaliyah's service. However, I would give the salon's overall ambiance, atmosphere, and the owners four stars. Four stars because I found the music selection to be somewhat inappropriate. I would suggest considering music with more family-friendly lyrics, particularly given the presence of younger patrons. Otherwise, I will be returning for the positive aspects of the salon.
