Lack of Evidence & Results: My puppy spent five weeks in their training program, returning to me at just over three months old. After five full weeks, expecting visible progress is entirely reasonable. Instead, the only proof provided was a few single 20-second videos that failed to show her going to the bathroom or willingly entering a crate with the door closed. That is not meaningful evidence of active training. Follow-Through at Home: Since bringing her home, I have been diligent and consistent with her routine--taking her out every two to three hours, keeping crate time positive, and ensuring she is never left alone for extended periods. I am doing everything on my end to fulfill the training she was supposed to have received. Unacceptable Communication: Poor communication was a persistent issue throughout the program. While my puppy was away for five weeks, it routinely took two to three days to get a reply to simple inquiries. That level of delay is unacceptable when a client's young animal is in a company's care. A customer paying for a five-week puppy training program is entitled to clear communication, prompt updates, and verifiable proof that training is taking place. This experience was truly upsetting, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. If you care about your pet and want a grooming service that listens to your instructions and treats your pet with respect, avoid this place at all costs.

I had left instructions of how much to feed her, vet name and number, emergency vet number, etc. , etc. And this is after Devin came into my apartment and I had gone over everything with her! Devin texted me, took pictures and gave me a detailed description of how Mia was doing when I was gone. She cleaned her kitty litter, tried to play with her and even gave her treats! Mia hid from her but by the second day she actually came out of her hiding place. When Devin texted me that, it made me so happy! I did not worry at all about how Mia was doing by being alone because I knew that she was in good hands. I really enjoyed myself without having to be stressed out! It was so wonderful. Long story short, summer of 2025 our Border Collie had bruising and spots on her stomach. Went to her primary care doc who treated her with meds but the results were not consistent so we were referred to Carolina Veterinary Specialists Greensbor. Dr. Gavin Olsen took the case. After performing some test, it was determined that she had Thrombocytopenia which basically translates to extremely low platelet counts. She was bleeding on the inside and with her low counts could be fatal. Dr. Olsen provided us treatment options and a very thorough treatment plan. Fast forward to now....almost a year later. Our sweet Collie has been off all meds for about 4 months and her latest 3 month checkup came back perfect! We will continue with 3 month checkups for a while just to make sure everything continues to look good. I want to thank Dr. Olsen and the amazing and caring staff at Carolina Veterinary Specialists Greensboro. They literally saved our girl. We are forever grateful for this amazing team of specialists.

She did come home with kennel cough the first time but never had an issue since.
