I was searching the internet for someone, anyone!! that would be able to restore my 2004 525i BMW headlights. I tried last year to use the over the counter headlight restoration kits that are sold and although it cleand it up a bit , no where near the quality I was looking for. This was our first time going to Transhine and we were 100% satisfied. Bill and his guys are friendly and professional which it seems is not too common today. They gave us an appointment time and we got the car back earlier than expected. We had our new Chevy Volt polished, applied ceramic sealant, tinted the windows and applied the clear bra hood protection. The car looks completing different. It rained last night and our other cars were still wet but the Volt was almost completely dry which means the car is staying cleaner as well (Fewer trips to the car wash). We also had our Jeep Polished and waxed. It too was almost dry after this last rain. If you have a nice car, you have the choice of spending a little money now and get your car protected or later on having to choose to drive around in a ugly old car or spending thousands to get your car repainted (And they never look as good as new). Last year I went to Transhine to have a clear bra installed on my new 2015 Dodge Challenger. They did a great job but they had a small accident with a heat lamp which melted a small portion of my lower lip on the front bumper. I wouldn't have noticed it but the owner, William, admitted to the accident and replaced the lip, free of charge. Transhine saved the day (again!). I had just gotten a brand new Honda Fit and after only THREE DAYS it was sideswiped in a parking lot. The person took off, and I was stuck repairing the damage. Wasn't so happy with a boat detail I received a few years back. We had taken a company truck there a few times with fantastic results (interior) the owner said he had deemed our shop truck as the worst he has delt with and the vehicle came back in perfect condition looked as good as it did off the show room floor. And I had my truck done here as well and that wasn't worth the $380.00 (interior only detail) But my boat was a different story I took it in once before to get it detailed at the same location dropped it off at 6:30am got a call at 11:00 saying it was raining at there location and they needed me to pick it up and bring it back a different day. I was informed that the impurities on the gel coat on the boat was rail road dust that was rusting on top of the gel coat. The owner said I can get that off no worries. I brought the boat back after the season was done so I could get it nice and clean then cover it up and next season it would be set to get a quick rinse and go out on the water. Took the boat in got it back at the end of the day. Got there and the side of the boat still had the "rail dust" marks every where the owner said that's the best they could do. It wouldn't come out.... Went to the office to see if we could come to a conclusion as to why it was able to be removed easily and now it was impossible to remove. The owner said no discount could be applied since it was a very long attempt to get it off and he should have charged me more. I would have paid a lot more if the oxidation was able to be removed. My boat is a 2006 with 30 hours on it the gel coat spent more time curing then it has in the sun. So I went out on the water and the first thing I notice was the carpet had vacuum marks every where I called this place ON THE WATER! And explained who I was and what they had done a few days earlier and that the carpet was cleaned with what looked like sewer water! He said we'll bring it back and well look at it I said IM ON THE WATER 250MILES AWAY. And since I'm on the water and the boats out the carpet will get dirty and you wouldn't redo it after that anyways. So I made my trip back home stopped at he place and explained the marks and they said HOW DO WE KNOW THAT DIDNT HAPPEN AT THE RIVER? I said have a nice day and have never went back. read more

When I get there the moron says they can't finish detail by time promised and I would have to leave car till closing time. Transhine is a very professional auto detailing shop. They are hard working, genuinely sincere people, and their services are worth every dime. The decision to drop half a G on a few clear sheets of film was not an easy one, let alone the search for a competent installer at a fair price, but Transhine prevailed and they deserve each and every one of the 5 stars in my review. With less than 700 miles on my new ride, I noticed a small rock chip on the right edge of the hood. Most people accept rock chips as inevitable throughout the life of a new car, and traditionally the only option people had for front-end protection was a black vinyl bra that, depending on your car's design, often looked horrendous and out-of-place. A paint protection film (PPF) solves the aesthetic problem, visually blending with your car paint while offering reinforced protection from rock chips, bug splatter, and other minor abrasions. The rock chip was small and nearly invisible unless you looked close, but it was enough to catapult into my mind the idea of having a PPF installed on my car. Anyone who knows me would agree that I am a very meticulous shopper who would often take weeks if not months before committing to a big ticket buying decision, so this was obviously no exception. After making several phone calls and shooting a few emails to multiple auto detailing shops in the LA area to get price quotes (many in the $600-$800 range), I couldn't justify the expense at the time, and I put off the whole PPF idea in the wake of a busy school and work schedule. Bill and Ryan both handle the email duties, and they are quick to respond with detailed explanations for all inquiries. I had actually forgotten about the PPF until Ryan reached out to me a week later, this time with a much more competitive price quote. Not wanting to take any more chances with potential rock chips, I took Ryan up on the offer and made an appointment for the earliest time available. I was expecting to wait at least a week or two, but turns out they had an open slot that same weekend! They advised that the whole procedure would take about 5 hours, so I planned accordingly and went in at 8am. Bill performed the installation flawlessly with the expertise of a veteran car detailer, and as promised my car was ready by 1pm. Even though my car is white, the PPF is nearly invisible unless you looked really close. I've heard of other PPF installers using a razor blade to trim a big sheet of film directly off your car (which can cause permanent damage to its paint, not to mention flat out ghetto), but rest assured that Transhine doesn't dabble in any of that nonsense. They have a plotter on-site that cuts out exact designs directly from Xpel with 3M film. Their work and their products are completely legit. I am very satisfied with Transhine, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone that needs professional car detailing done at a reasonable price. read more

It was my first time to Transhine today and I'm positive it's not going to be my last. I Yelp'd local detailing shops and decided on this one. I couldn't have picked a better place. I brought in my girlfriend's white 2007 Honda Pilot. She has parked the car outside since day one and it really looked like it. It had no shine to it what so ever and the windows were heavily marked with years of water spots. Bill looked over the car once we got there and explained what needed to be done. We were going to sell the car today and told Bill that we'd need it done by 1:00 p.m. and we dropped the car off at 8:15. Bill came through with the time constraint and the car looked amazing. It looked better than what a car would look like on a dealers lot. It felt butter smooth to the touch and it truly looked white again. This car would have been a perfect example of one of those "before and after" pictures. The guys at Transhine do excellent professional work. P.S. I have a white car and there have been visible fallouts throughout my car. I called in for a quote and Bill was very patient in explaining the different packages he has and suggesting different options for me. All the great reviews are well-deserved. The service here was great. I took my car in for water spot removal, and they did a terrific job. No paint damage and completely spot-free afterward. And these spots were insanely stubborn - a few washes including hand washing twice couldn't take them out. I even tried some home remedies to at least get the spots off the windows with a lot of scrubbing and still no luck. This summer's record heat combined with Whittier's hard water (darn sprinklers) did a number on my car, but Transhine took care of it. Prices were fair too, especially for the quality job they did. Hopefully won't need them again (I bought a car cover), but they're the first place I'll go if I ever do. read more

I agree with the other posts the best detail shop in Whittier area. I took my truck over to get the under carriage power washed (to look for a leak, which we where able find after).... great workmanship and customer service. The only problem I find with Transhine is you have to make an appointment weeks in advancement (unless your a regular customer)... i wanted to get my windows tinted on my other car and tried to get an appointment the same day and I was turned away (I think because Bill is the only one who does the work there), however he did recommend me to Xtremetint..(which is another great place and they took care of me). But all in all if you are willing to wait for an appointment I would defiantly go here...ALSO they are a bit expensive. read more
