There are a few select people who will touch my cars, and I am so glad Transhine applied PPF to the front of my car as well as a few other select areas. The job was amazing. Absolutely cannot tell where the PPF ends and the paint starts. What I learned is Transhine actually has a seperate set of totally enclosed auto bays to store your car while the PPF is curing. Been living in the Whittier area for all my life and have driven by Transhine many many times. Well my four wheeled beauty needed a little TLC. Like most older cars she developed the dreaded cataract headlights. Paint although shiny and routinely waxed, was beginning to show some spots of uneven discoloration and near the fuel spout you could see some staining from the occasional petrol spill. Well Jesus, at Transhine gave me recommendations over the phone, we scheduled an appointment and all I can say, it's wonderful falling in love again. The headlights are crystal clear. The paint was clay polished and the ceramic coating gives the shine a knock out punch. The rims deep cleaned and polished so break dust won't stick and oxidize the paint. Often people say, polishing doesnt work, etc etc etc. It does work if the shop knows what they are doing, and of course it works if the polishing includes the protective film. First time coming here after being recommended by a family member. Came Monday morning on MLK day to ask about pricing for head light restoration and availability. Jesus greeted me and walked me through the process on restoring my headlight and even provided me with a small sample of the UV Sealant they use on the headlights after sanding. Jesus customer service was outstanding and had some openings available as soon as the next day. Unfortunately, due to my busy schedule between work and being a parent, Saturday was my only option I had. I returned to get my TAILLIGHTS covered with xpel to protect them from the sun and elements. Attached is a CURRENT picture of the headlights from my first review written over 5 years ago (Dec of 2012). They've held up extremely well, blocked oxidization of the actual headlight, and remained CLEAR with quick wipes during regular washing. All while being ALWAYS parked in the sun and never garage-kept. Seriously, people, Scotty and Chris are wrong. This is the best way to never have to worry about headlights. My truck had an oil leak for months and I attempted to repair it at a local repair shop. The repair shop couldn't tell me where the oil leak was coming from and suggested I take my truck to have the bottom of the engine cleaned. I decided to call Transhine and make an appointment. I showed up to my appointment day to have the bottom of the engine cleaned. They did a great job and were easy to work with. I returned to the repair shop and they too commented on how clean the bottom of the engine was and on top of that. The repair shop was now able to fix my oil leak thanks to Transhine. read more

Extended the life of my old BMW! Paint looks great, headlights look brand new, and my engine clean for mechanic to enjoy! Decided to bring in my 12 year old BMW for some paint correction. After washing/detailing myself, I would always be disappointed with look of hood, roof, and top of truck. The paint was starting to deteriorate after years in the California sun no matter what products I applied. I was thinking of buying my own polisher, etc to do a full polish/paint correction of the car. I also debated doing nothing, but I was embarrassed to park , as my hood was really looking awful. Well, it's been a while since I had work done on the B5 Blue Charger. Picked up new Yamaha R1 a few months back and decided to get some paint protection on front end and gas tank where my jacket and belt rubs frequently. Once again, Bill and Jesus delivered above and beyond my expectations. At first, because of the shape of the tank, Bill thought he may have to cut several separate pieces, but then amazingly was able to cover the whole half tank with one piece. Customer service is very rude and condescending. This guy is a rip off. Charging us $200 just for exterior and $450 for both exterior and interior. The car was 2010 toyota corolla, so it's old and small car. Then he said will need 1.5 day to finish it. We asked why was it cost so much for a small car? And he said your dirty is not the same as my dirty. That's rude AF and very condescending way to talk to a customer. Nobody would come to the shop and ask to be charged an arm and a leg. Simply put not recommend unless you have too much money to waste on rude and condescending people. read more

Our experience with Transhine far exceeded our expectations! They are a first rate shop who does quality work. My husband had his new 2021 Tesla Model 3 wrapped with PPF and ceramic coating applied. The car looks better than the day we picked it up from Tesla! Bill, the owner, was very detailed in going over exactly what they were going to do to the car. We live in Mammoth Lakes (over 5 hours away from Transhine) so my husband had to stay in a hotel while they had the car for 1.5 days. Bill offered to give him a ride back to the hotel and went out of his way to be accommodating. They finished the job early to get my husband back on the drive home as quickly as possible. This place got great reviews so I decided to come here for paint protection and tint for my Tesla model 3. I got an Xpel clear bra on the front third of the car for paint protection, tinted all the windows except the roof, and full ceramic coating. The price was reasonable and customer service was good, but I am disappointed with the workmanship. There was residue left under the clear bra of the side mirrors, and residue and small bubbles under the tint. I pointed out the bubbles under the tint to Bill. He indicated that there was a lot of dust when they put it on and that is the result of that. The end product is not seamless like my other two cars that I had tinted elsewhere. Bill offered for me to bring it back this Saturday (10/13/18) for them to correct the issues. I accepted and will update this review and rating after they correct the issues. Unfortunately, 10/13/18 was raining and they couldn't fix the issue so I dropped the car off on 10/18/18 and picked up on 10/20/18. They couldn't remove the adhesive spot left on the front windshield, but installed a clear film on part of the bumper since Bill have seen people ruin their bumper from dragging out stroller. They were able to remove the bigger bubbles in the tint. Bill also help me discovered that I have a paint imperfection on the drive side mirror which initially we thought it was the clear film. So he removed the clear film so I can take the car back to Tesla to fix. Bill takes customer satisfaction seriously. I appreciate that he value my time and make every effort to obtain my full satisfaction. After this experience, I up my rating to 5 stars. I will be back to have the clear film reinstall on my driver side mirror after Tesla fix the paint imperfection. read more

Is not only that they did a terrible job, but also when I complained about it and asked them to do it again, they scratched one my car windows (the glass), and tried to cover their ass saying that it was already there. I do like this place, however when I went to go get my back window tint redone because it bubbled up in only 4 years, I was being accused of replacing the work they did back in 2016. The owner stated there was a cheap film on there and that's why it was bubbling and there was no way they would have done that type of work. I have only gotten my window ceramic tint done at Transhine once back in March of 2016, no where else! He also stated he has never seen ceramic tint bubble up like that in the 25 years he's been in business. I have ceramic dark tint all over my mustang and only the back window tint was bubbling which I found odd. I have never replaced it because it would be free under warranty through Transhine, that's why I went back. If it wasn't for the owner making me feel like I did something wrong to my vehicle, I would give this place 5 stars. It really made me feel uncomfortable the way the owner was talking to me. I would not want to ruin the look of my car on purpose. read more
