Yes, it's ok to be salty! I loved coming here to the salt cave the first time! I loved it even more the second time!! Yes, I will be purchasing a membership package to this spa!! Lori, a wonderfully helpful person, showed us all around the spa on our second visit. I've been to the salt caves in Williamsburg, which I also love, yet this one is not only closer and less expensive, but it is more intimate. The chairs are even more comfortable, 4 cozy recliners, perfect for friends sharing a pampering experience! They give you headphones which play relaxing music as you breathe in the refreshing salty air. Or, as Lori mentioned, feel free to bring a book or listen to your own music with air pods! We took a tour of the sauna, the ice bath, the floating pods, plus they offer massages, infrared beds, vibroacoustic beds and more! Plants are everywhere, adding to the restful atmosphere, and there is a comfy sitting area as well. There is a small gift shop with jewelry, rocks and gems, and other small trinkets. This is a place where it's easy to get hooked on, a habit well worth having, good for your mental, physical and emotional health! You deserve it, stay salty!!

Were originally went to another location as walk ins for two pedicures, and the customer service attendant called another location who had immediate availability for us (we didn't make appointments so we wouldn't feel rushed during lunch). When we got there, there was a bit of confusion as to whay exactly we wanted, even though we had been called ahead. In any event she chose the milk & honey while I picked the goat milk pedicure. Any time at the other location mom chose that version, they've put actual milk and honey into the foot bath, but not this time. This location simply uses different scrubs for your legs. Lack of uniformity was confusing and frustrated mom who had to ask mess about it. Our massages afterwards were lovely, very relaxing, but when I was waiting for mom to finish in the ladies room, I saw someone else giving the most half hearted massage imaginable. She was doing it one hammered while messing around on her phone for over a minute until I took a picture's -1* for the inconsistency between locations -1* for the "massage" I witnessed Diane and E (something that started with an E) were wonderful stylists.

I had pretty high expectations since the service was around $130. The environment was clean, relaxing, and had a nice ambiance with soothing music. My esthetician was a young woman who was very kind and professional. Before starting, she explained a few optional add-ons (for an extra cost), and I agreed to just one. However, the facial itself felt much shorter than 50 minutes, more like 20! While it was somewhat relaxing, it ended so quickly that I almost wanted to ask if the time was correct. With tip, I ended up spending around $200 total, including the gift card, and honestly, it didn't feel worth the price. They also tried a bit too hard to sell a membership, which was slightly annoying. Still, I might go back one day to try a massage and see if that experience is better. Overall, the spa was clean, the staff were polite, and the atmosphere was lovely, but I just wish the facial had lasted as long as promised.

I DO NOT do memberships anywhere, and thank goodness after reading some of the reviews here!! I always like 1.5 hrs massage and have been cancelled several times with much difficulty to rebook, or they tell me therapist only has an hour available!! Just was cancelled yesterday for a much needed massage this coming Thurs !! I will be looking for a more quality facility with less cancellations and less pushing for memberships!! It's really a shame because I've only had good massages there!!

Their prices have recently increased to $100+ for an hour session, but honestly, that's more than worth it. I have severe, chronic pain. I got a massage somewhere else--that I won't name here--and my pain was so bad, I let the masseuse use a lot of pressure. I realized this was a mistake the very next day and they'd done some damage, but I could not use my arm--which is a bad situation to be in. A few days later, I got an appointment here with Tiffany. Tiffany was AWESOME. Along with a general massage and cupping, she used a method called scraping--this, my friends, did WONDERS for my arm. The beds are heated. The face-thingies are SOFT (I don't know why I can't find this everywhere). The only downsides? 1. There's no membership option!!! WHY. WHY WON'T YOU LET ME GIVE YOU MY MONEY MONTHLY?! 2. There's no rooms for couple's massages, and booking two separate massages at the same time for two different people using their online system is. . .not something it wants to let you do. My trick is to book one massage with another directly after it--both times I've done this, I've been called and asked if that was intentional. Once I explained, they had no problem arranging for me and my partner to both get massaged. 3. When you arrive, there's no receptionist, no front desk--there's chairs and magazines, so you KNOW it's the waiting area, but it can feel awkward waiting and being unsure if anyone knows you've arrived for an appointment. Fear not; It seems these folks are punctual and aware of when a client should be there, so they'll pop out of the room they massage in and get you--don't be weird like me and wander around, making the fact you have social anxiety super obvious, awkward, and everyone else's problem in addition to your own; Sit down and open a magazine and read about Reiki. I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE. Richmond is flooded with just below average massage parlors/masseuses, which is why you're going to have a hard time ever getting the same, one, good masseuse at a location repeatedly; There's a LOT of turn over because, well. . .Not a lot of people are great at massage. If they are, odds are they'll begin working for a nicer place *cough*Divine Spark*cough* or relocate out of the area entirely. Since Divine Spark is the best, they're priced highly, so I see this place as a place to go when I'm in extreme pain or as a very special treat. Beware--this is a small location and company, so book well in advance if a specific date is important to you. I'm already ready for another appointment, but honestly, seriously, beware; Your next massage elsewhere will leave you disappointed after a trip to Divine Spark.
