He refused to take a dime from me and I was so grateful! If Kyle is the type of employee Sergio's Automotive hires, I have full confidence they are one of the best around. Routine Service for MINI Cooper…read more Summary: fast, competent; routine service. More expensive but worth it. Details: My wife's 2014 MINI was due for an oil change. I took it to a place where we've generally had good service, a local chain. Things seemed OK until the next morning when I saw the MINI was leaking oil. Took it back. They said they'd fixed it (we'd had this issue before with this place for this car). Before we left I told my wife to pull the MINI out of the spot where they'd had it parked. There was fresh oil on the pavement. They said something about a wrong gasket or maybe a damaged plug. When we picked it up there was no similar oil spot. We drove it home where it sat in the driveway for two days and when my wife moved it, lo and behold, more oil in the driveway. So I looked for a place experienced with MINIs. I took it to Exotic Car Services. As I pulled up, I was pleased to see several MINIs parked on their property awaiting service. I explained to them what had happened and asked if they could provide any explanation for it I'd appreciate it. You can see what they found in the attached photo. The chain-service store was using the wrong size gasket. The "waiting room," such as it is, isn't much. However, they do have free WiFi for customers and there's a small table for a laptop. And, they did offer to drive me to a nearby Starbucks (or whatever) to wait for the service to be completed. I was able to get some work done while I waited. (I was actually grateful there was no TV blaring.) They took the car into the service bay promptly at 8:30 (the time of the appointment). I wish I could tell you how long it took, but I didn't keep track. I can say that it "felt" much faster than I'd been expecting. I don't think I was there for more than 90 minutes.We had the car serviced six days ago and so far no more evidence of leaking oil. The cost of at the chain shop that it did it wrong was significantly less. About $80 at the chain store (that included a tire rotation) and about $135 at Exotic Car Services. As near as I can tell the big difference was the cost of synthetic oil and the filter: $70 and $24 at Exotic Car and $10 and $10 at the chain store. Labor at the chain store was about two-thirds as much. Still: I give 4 stars and recommend it. I'll be taking the MINI back to this place the next time it needs service.

They managed to fix all the recall items but then tell me I need a new motor and they are backordered until further notice .. Rudy tried his best but can't fault him.. now comes Yelp, I find Kiko's based on the ratings and reviews. Call up and talk to Frank.. he recommended a tow company and had them tow it to the shop.. he confirmed the blown rod and found me a used motor in a day... they tore it open on Monday and done by Friday as promised. The shop is a little messy but to me as a boat guy, I like that because it means parts can be found. I forgot to mention this whole experience was done by phone because it's a 2 hour drive for me. I wish shops like this were more local to me.. keep up the great work guys!

They verified that it was the Cadillac converter which there's no way that the Cadillac converter should have went out within two weeks of purchasing the car unless it never passed emissions meaning the car was temporarily fixed just to sell. It was never given a small paperwork from the car which is required by the state of California so I did not pay the remaining $800 down I was told to continue to drive the truck until the park came in three months later we get a call to say that the part is in we took the car in two days after being jerked around about the car. They tell us they're repossessing the car for not paying the $800 down after you sold us a bogus car to begin with that wouldn't have never passed the missions which by the way is against the law in the state of California do not purchase a car here unless you plan on having issues with the car the whole time you have it very horrible customer service
