I left with an oil change, 4 new tires, new spark plugs, and air filters. I've held out on an oil change because I was too lazy to drive to one of those drive thru oil changing places. Honestly, the 4 new tires are justified. I saw how bald it was before I took them in. I just didn't know it was so bad that the wires were showing! Also, there was a nail in one of them. That's the only reason I justified in taking my car in. Lol. The spark plugs haven't been changed since I bought the car in 2021 at 60k miles. It's getting replaced for the first time at 103k miles. With my allergies, I always get new air filters whenever I go into a mechanic shop. So, that's standard. And turns out, I didn't need new brake pads! I don't remember the reasoning but it was valid. My car has never ran sooooooo smooth. I'm so glad I finally found a good mechanic nearby! And the cost! I was honestly surprised with my total. I thought it would be more. With how close by the shop is, I really have no excuse to not be on top of my car maintenance now. And I'm definitely going back for all my maintenance needs.

So, I got an oil change and tire rotation and the shop shows me the inside wall of both of the…read morefront tires have the steel showing and could have blown at any time--which would have disabled my ability to steer. One was so bad, they wouldn't let me leave the shop without putting the spare on. Totally scary because from looking at the tire from the outside you would never know. So....I created a project on yelp to get businesses reviewing it while I called a couple of more. Sam's responded first and was the most affordable. Plus, the owner was responding to me on yelp after hours. They said they had 2 of my size tires in stock and could do a front and rear alignment first thing in the morning. I stopped there first thing in the morning and when they went to work on it, they showed me a 3rd tire that was wearing in the same pattern as the first 2. So, I ended up purchasing 3 new tires along with the alignment. But from start to finish it took less than an hour. They were super friendly, kept me updated on the progress and guaranteed their work. Very efficient service and quite affordable. Would definitely recommend. Thanks, Sam's!
