I contacted the shop upon a referral of a family friend. I called Tuesday, spoke with Pedro, gave him the model number and advised I needed an off-track window repaired. He took my information and said he would provide me an estimate sometime after lunch. On Friday, I had not heard back from anyone at the shop, so I called and spoke with Eduardo. He dismissed the fact that there was no follow-up on their part and asked what I needed. I asked if follow-through would be an issue moving forward. I went in for an oil change. They talked me into a brake fluid change which I was Good with. Told me I needed a few repairs which I was aware of. So after paying $360., I drove 20 feet my check engine light came on??? I returned they put on the diagnostic test. Then he said my car may have a timing problem. He cleared the check engine light. I drove another 20 feet light came on again. My car was fine prior to this service I will not return or recommend as I have been doing in the past. read more

I took my granddaughters 2006 BMW in to this shop because her check engine light was on. I spoke with Eduardo Avelar, he told me that they were booked up until the following week. I didn't tell him this, but I wasn't going to be able to wait that long to have her car looked at, so without him knowing any of that he asked if we minded pulling the car around in front of the shop & he would connect a machine for the codes on BMW's. We found out that it was just a loose cap on the oil tank, he cleared the codes & ordered a new oil cap. Wow. A real SERVICE shop. I have a 1991 Mercedes 300SL that needed some "catch up" maintenance as the previous owner didn't care too much about this vehicle. On my first visit, Eduardo provided a little tour of the shop, showing me the different work areas, and storage room. He explained the products he uses and why they are used. I've never had that experience from any other shop. As Eduardo described it, they do everything except "body and paint". Definitely make an appointment here as this shop is full of Mercedes and BMWs, classic and new. If you want edwardo or what ever the fuck his name is to lie to you go head and take your car to his shop he had me when he showed me something small with my car but not big. Lied to me about the voltage my alternator was giving to my car. Took it to auto zone and orielys right after alternator was more then what he told me. said my car won't pass smog without him fixing the alternator it passed a week later. he told me 900 for a new alternator when I just had my alternator replaced for 120 labor +300 for the part. They are the most honest the most ethical the most reliable auto repair shop you will ever find! When I move to Roseville I still came here with my car I now live in the pocket area and yes I drive here for all of my repairs. They will never do a repair that is not needed. They always keep you informed and they have always followed through on everything they said they would do to my car with repairs. Been in the south area I was referred to another shop but I turned around and got my car back and drove it over here and I learn the hard way I should've never gone anywhere else. I strongly recommend this shop. Can you won't find a more at the cool repair shop anywhere! So yes I drive over 25 miles to come here but they are so worth it I even get my car smog at the shop they referred me to. I will always bring my car here until I don't have my little 330 CI anymore. They did an unbelievable thorough job, undoing undertrays, opening up the engine, measured calipers, rotors... they were going through the car over an hour. They came up with diagnostics and reset the computer, then we ran the car for 25 miles to see if the codes came back. The whole process took over 3 hours and they only charged $120 for such a thorough job . Highly recommended. I scheduled an appointment with Eduardo (the owner) for a pre-purchase inspection of a used Mercedes. When we arrived with the car, he could immediately tell there were issues with the rear differential. At that point, we knew we didn't want the car, so I told Eduardo we didn't need the full inspection, and tried to compensate him for his time up to that point (it had been about 15 minutes). Hello Everyone, I was planning to purchase a Mercedes E320 from Craigslist.org so I decided to to conduct a preown purchase inspection before buying in which they've quoted me way less then the Mercedes Dealership near by. 5mins into the inspection the mechanic told me that the car had been in an accident and it just got a fresh coat of paint. Then I had to give the seller the bad news that I wasn't going to buy the car and he was a bit shocked and didn't know what to do, but drive back to where he came from. Eduardo Jr. & Senior are such nice people father & Son didn't even charge me anything for the inspection and they just wanted to see me happy making the right decision and advised me not to buy a used Mercedes unless it's safe and mechanically sound. He even offered me advice over the phone when I couldn't find a quality mercedes shop in the Bay Area. Showed me step by step over the phone how to check for wear in front wheel bearings. I have had transmission service, brake job, differential maintenance, and many other repairs there.
