(They never actually showed) While I was waiting Gill had pulled over asked if me and my cousin were okay and gave us his information in case we needed a tow. The accident was at 7pm, by about 1AM me and my cousins finally had enough and called Gill. He came and towed our car immediately. Since it was the lady's fault he said don't worry about the cost of the tow or anything and that he would deal with the insurance company. After about two weeks I was made aware the lady had lied to the insurance company and they would not cover my car. I called Gill in a panic and explained I really needed my car and although I was almost positive it was totaled I asked if he could take a look and give me a price. He called me within to days with an unbelievable price. He told me he could have the car fixed by the next week and he would call and keep me posted. I was very surprised considering the frame was bent in the front, the radiator, the condenser, and the fan belts all had to be replaced and the bumper and lights were dangling off the car. Although it all sounded to good to be true I waiting and sure enough he called the following week and the car was ready. Everything was fixed and the car has been running great, not to add he was able to use my old grill and lights and reattach them since they weren't smashed to save me some money. Lastly, the day I went to pick the car up I had to take and subway and then a bus. It wasn't easy for me to get to the shop without the car. Gill offered to pick me up in my car which not only saved me a ton of time but also allowed me to see it and make sure it felt okay while driving. This place is awesome. This whole accident was such a nightmare for me and Gill had made the whole situation so much better. Its nice to no theres honest shops out there still.

I thought I needed oil change, but they hooked my car up to the computer and it turns out that something you had gone haywire because I neglected to turn off the engine the last time I filled up the tank. They reset the computer, no more check engine light, and they were very gracious about it. No charge! Based on my experience, this is a very honorable business. They're not trying to take advantage of anyone. The person to person interactions may be a little gruff, but don't let that discourage you. I have been coming here for any issue I have with my car since the , even if I must call them to describe the issue they will make sure to discuss over the phone before I come in. While my car is at the shop they call once the service is complete and make sure to explain what has been done or call insurance to get permission to do any services that have not been discussed prior, that is a detail that I really apreciate. Whatever issue I have even if they cannot service it here they will make sure to recommend me to another trust worthy mechanic who as soon as you say that DAKAR sent them, they will make sure to exceed your ecpectations. I trust them with my car at any day and I highly recommend them, Alvaro and his team are super polite and fun, they treat you like a friend from the get go.
