We had to wait for your drivers because you said there was an accident by the airport earlier when we arrived. We also requested that they simply stop at the hotel on the way to the airport, and they flatly refused to add it as a stop. Despite the hotel being only 7 minutes from the airport, they demanded an additional $65, claiming it was a "new service." This was unreasonable, especially since we were not asking for a separate trip, only a stop along the existing route--not to go to the airport first and then be taken to the hotel. The driver was not the issue at all--drivers are clearly restricted and monitored by GPS. The problem lies entirely with the reservation staff, who were rigid, unhelpful, and unwilling to offer any solution. They even claimed that no manager was available, which is both inexcusable and highly questionable during peak season. This was an overpriced, inflexible, and poorly managed service that added stress to an already difficult travel situation. I would not recommend this company to anyone expecting reasonable customer service or flexibility.

She waited about ten minutes before trying to call Amstar, but no one ever answered. Had we known this would happen, we would have made sure they joined our van so they weren't stranded. I'm conflicted because our experience was great, but it's upsetting that my sister and her children were left behind after receiving confirmation. We walked to him and he quickly message the driver to let him know we've arrived. The CARM rep then graciously offered to help carry our luggage and brought us to the van where our van was at. He took a picture and sent it to his boss. This experience made me worried that they were not going to show up to drop us at the airport since we had booked round trip transportation. Unlike when we were arriving to Cancun, when we received confirmations about our upcoming transfer for departure we didn't receive one. I reached out the day before to make sure they would show and that they knew which lobby to get us from. The day of, the driver told us he was going to be 20 minutes late, 20 minutes turned into 40 minutes and I had asked my husband to reach out because at this point we were sitting in anxiety that we were going to miss our flight but the driver called to ask which lobby ( information we provided the day before).
