We had to wait for your drivers because you said there was an accident by the airport earlier when we arrived. We also requested that they simply stop at the hotel on the way to the airport, and they flatly refused to add it as a stop. Despite the hotel being only 7 minutes from the airport, they demanded an additional $65, claiming it was a "new service." This was unreasonable, especially since we were not asking for a separate trip, only a stop along the existing route--not to go to the airport first and then be taken to the hotel. The driver was not the issue at all--drivers are clearly restricted and monitored by GPS. The problem lies entirely with the reservation staff, who were rigid, unhelpful, and unwilling to offer any solution. They even claimed that no manager was available, which is both inexcusable and highly questionable during peak season. This was an overpriced, inflexible, and poorly managed service that added stress to an already difficult travel situation. I would not recommend this company to anyone expecting reasonable customer service or flexibility.

Our flight was delayed for about 4 hours but they handled our late arrival well. We had to wait about 15 minutes for our driver but he came and took us to our hotel with no problem. The only minor thing is that the "manager" (the guy who checks you in and gets a driver) tried to charge me more than what my paperwork said but we got it straightened out ok when he refunded the difference without a struggle, I would use this company again.

She called to confirm her return transportation as well and was also told 9:30 a.m. While we were picked up without issue, she was left behind at the resort with my niece and nephew. She waited about ten minutes before trying to call Amstar, but no one ever answered. Had we known this would happen, we would have made sure they joined our van so they weren't stranded. I'm conflicted because our experience was great, but it's upsetting that my sister and her children were left behind after receiving confirmation. Just be aware that the experience seems to vary, and it may depend on the day.

Easy to book and pay via credit card online which is a huge plus, since I detest having to bring large wads of cash when traveling. On arrival day I received a text message indicating where they were waiting for me. When we got out to the exit after finishing up customs, we saw our CARM holding a sign with my name on it. We walked to him and he quickly message the driver to let him know we've arrived. The CARM rep then graciously offered to help carry our luggage and brought us to the van where our van was at. It was pouring rain when we arrived, after meeting the driver, we all ran to the car. For my first trip to Mexico, this was a bit of a frightening experience. After dropping us off, our driver seemed busy and I handed him a tip and said thank you. 10 minutes later he is calling my husband repeatedly saying we didn't pay, when my husband told him we had a confirmation and paid on the website in advance. As we were waiting to check in and sitting with our guest services rep, the driver found us in the lobby and I told him we paid for this already and luckily had printed out my confirmation. He took a picture and sent it to his boss. This experience made me worried that they were not going to show up to drop us at the airport since we had booked round trip transportation. Unlike when we were arriving to Cancun, when we received confirmations about our upcoming transfer for departure we didn't receive one. I reached out the day before to make sure they would show and that they knew which lobby to get us from. The day of, the driver told us he was going to be 20 minutes late, 20 minutes turned into 40 minutes and I had asked my husband to reach out because at this point we were sitting in anxiety that we were going to miss our flight but the driver called to ask which lobby ( information we provided the day before). It was the last flight of the day. Our driver was also coughing quite a bit, and I regretted not putting on my mask like I should have because after we got out I felt sick the rest of the weekend. Based on this experience, I would not use this service again.
