I will say the staff were very kind very polite very professional in the atmosphere and inside is adorable. I like it. But what a disappointment. I've been once about 15 years ago and I don't think I was all that impressed back then, but this just sealed the deal with a lame offering. Again I'm not trying to be slanderous, but I think they're using the term homemade very very loosely.

I visited One Cup Norfolk last week on the recommendation of a friend. Was I glad I did - a hidden gem! The store is easy to find, and very neat, clean and organized. They had an awesome selection of coffees and teas for my Keurig that you just can't find in other local stores. My favorite part of the store was the wall of individual K-cups - what a great idea! I was greeted right away by a very friendly and helpful staff member who pointed out the location of the various coffees and teas. I picked several flavors of individual K-cups from the wall (some I had tried before, but most were new ones). This gives customers the opportunity to try new flavors and mix and match between light, medium, dark roasts as well as flavored coffees and teas before purchasing a whole box. I'm partial to flavored coffee, and One Cup Norfolk's selection was great in both individual cups as well as boxes. I'll definitely be heading back there soon for more great coffee and tea! read more

One Cup is a great little gem. The location is easy to get to. The staff is so friendly and knowledgable. And there is always coffee in stock. And let's not forget about the great prices. Better than any price I have seen in any other store or on the web. If I want to try a new flavor I can buy just one k-cup or pod. Or sometimes I can even sample within the store. During the holidays, I like to make up my own box of different flavors to accomodate my guests. I recommend One Cup to anyone I know that has a Keurig brewer. I was so excited to find this place! I only like flavored coffee. One Cup has a wall of single K-cups to choose from! Mudslide, Kahlua, Cappaccino, Blueberry...you name it, they have it! I love being able to try all different kinds...and you can pick 24 for $14.99...what a bargain!! I've told many of my friends about this hidden jewel...and they have all gone and raved about it! They also sell boxes of one flavor for $12.99. You can buy one K-cup for $.75 to make on your way out to enjoy in your car ;) read more

I have been a few times it's amazing i just learned about the Pods this is so cool i didn't know there was a such thing as pods i've been using the K cups which are great but after a while can make the pocket a little empty.. Imagine being a grown up and walking into Willy Wonka's giant edible candy room, except everything is java flavored, and instead of Willy Wonka, there's Java Johnny. This place is amazing. Packed to the gills with over 120 types of coffees & teas in Kcup, pod and ground coffee form. I grabbed a wide assortment of Kcups and tried some of the Cindia Jackson's Jamaican Me Crazy... Love having One Cup so close to home. I visit a few times each month to stock up for both me and my mom. I think it is great you can create your own variety pack of K-cups which gives you the chance of trying different flavors without having to buy a full box of one kind. I initially thought the bookstore was only on the first floor of the building but turns out it's a multi-story experience. There is a parking lot at the back where I parked and I was able to enter through the back door (not sure if this is the main entrance). On the first floor, they have some books, bathrooms, a check out desk, nick nacks (hats, stationery, puzzles, etc.), and most importantly, a coffee shop. The coffee shop was closing up around the time we got there so plan accordingly and do some research on their hours. as they are not the same as the bookstore. The books are clearly labeled by genre. After taking a stroll, we decided to check out the second floor which was supposed to have a little market, a stage where they host events, and some very comfortable couches along with tables and chairs. I mostly came to see if a book spoke to me, but also to get some reading in from the book I brought along with me. The lighting is good, although I sometimes prefer to have a dimmer setting for a cozier feel. We spent about 1.25 hours here, but we could have easily spent a longer time if it weren't so close to closing.

It reminded me with so many memories. We always roasted our coffee beans at home. I stopped by and realized they don't have a coffee shop. Checked out the website and ordered only two bags to try it for the first time. They have single origin organic coffee beans, light roast. That is my favorite combo. And to our surprise, it was absolutely phenomenal. Delivered overnight fresh. It's been almost 3 years with them and it's been the best coffee every single time. I do appreciate good coffee.
