He called the day of the appointment and said they needed more notice even though it had been over a week since I booked the service through their website for the services they addressed in their quote. My coworker told him he had to ask me about rescheduling and they weren't on the line when I picked up. They never called back so I called them. They offered to come back the next day and I said ok. He showed up the next day and tried to increase the quote because nothing was staged for them to pick up. Never a part of the quote or discussed when the quote was handled. I addressed it with him and he proceeded to argue with me about it. I sent him and his helpers on their way. I've used other haulers that show up when they're supposed to and don't bicker about things not being staged and try to charge you more. I was looking forward to getting junk removed today and it didn't happen because of unprofessionalism from the owner himself. We'll get it removed elsewhere. I'm reading bad reviews here and seeing his responses and they're funny because he's calling out his own customers to make it out to be their fault instead of learning from his mistakes. He was cool when he came to give the quote and was someone else when he showed up to get the job done - which never got done. And he was happy to walk away when I told him forget it I'll call someone else. Never tried to make it better. Absolutely ridiculous. Stubborn and rude and not what you'd expect from the owner of a company. It's junk removal. Period. I can get someone else easily who does things the right way and puts their customers first. *UPDATE* and there you can see below for yourself his response to my negative review. In the past, I've been able to get rid of unwanted, bulky furniture either through my HOA (free) or trash disposal company ($60 fee). My apartment or the county that I lived in did not offer any bulky pickup item services and furniture donations to the American Red Cross are super picky. I submitted multiple requests to junk removal services and Point N Junk was the most competitive with both communication and pricing. They got back to me right away and I jumped to hire them because they offered to come to my place SAME DAY and they also offered $80 while other companies were quoting me $165 - $200. When they got to my apartment, it was a super quick and easy process. They were 2 men and had a pickup truck ready and were very nice. I'm not sure where it goes to, unfortunately; I hope that they try to donate it first before it ends up in a landfill. I highly recommend them if you're out of options in getting rid of old, unwanted furniture. They don't ask for a tip but please consider giving a little bit of cash for each guy. Moving big items around is tough work!
