Great service! I called to get my dryer vent cleaned, and they were able to come an hour later and completed the job quickly and efficiently. I'd had another company out previously, but they hadn't been able to do the work -- they had told me I'd need to have a trim trimmed in order for them to get access to the vent outside and that they'd need a taller ladder. But C&C Home Services was able to do it from the attic with no problem. I could have saved on tree trimming if I had called them first. They were fast and friendly and had great customer service, and I'll definitely be using them again in the future. read more

Just had all my supply and return ducts and dryer vent cleaned by C & C Home services for $475, a very good value! I found them in the Best Picks book from Fairfax County. They got my single car garage townhouse done in 2 hours and did a great job! The ducts apparently had never been cleaned. They use the best technology and explain what they are doing if you ask. C&C was contracted to visit our home through our rental company, Chambers Theory. I had Giovanni to my home to repair a broken dryer duct and vent that had been having issues for quite some time. There were many vendors who came before him who weren't quite sure what the issue was, so we were at a frustrating point. Giovanni came in (called to ask if he could come early - so nice!), took a thorough look at the issue, did a few tests and got to work immediately fixing the problem. I'm a local HVAC Technician. I got called to a home for a no heat call after this "company" cleaned their ducts. They did not protect the coil and knocked all the dust and dirt into the blower motor and evaporator wheel. This blocked airflow and the furnace was overheating and shutting off. We called and he lied and denied it saying it wasn't him and he didn't nothing wrong. He was rude and wouldn't not take accountability for his poor workmanship and actions. The customer paid $450 for the service and had to pay me another $500 to take the furnace apart to fix and clean the mess they made. It was total hack job. I viewed reviews on Yelp and HomeAdvisor then made 5 calls to different companies for the duct cleaning estimate before I decided to choose C&C Home Services. I must thank Home Advisor for getting me connected to this company, cause I wouldn't have chosen it if I only read the reviews on Yelp. C&C offered me a very competitive price and detailed introductions about the equipment they use without me even asking. (The company who has the highest rating on Yelp near my region never answered my calls and their voicemail box was always full. Another company who has very high rating on Yelp gave me a quote of $450+ (almost double!), and replied me that they would use "portable devices" (??)). Then I read their pictures and reviews carefully again, I made up my mind. Two technicians came to my house for the cleaning, they were very friendly and very professional throughout the service. Although they had to go back and forth outside and inside the house, the moment they got to my house they took their shoes off. During the cleaning, they answered a lot of my questions patiently, actively let me take pictures of my system and the cleaning process (my duct was unbelievably dirty before the cleaning), and also kindly helped me fix a noisy vent for me (which has been a problem for me for a long while). After they cleaned the vents, they also cleaned the places near the vents very carefully for me! I am really satisfied with their service and thankful to them! If I could give them zero stars I would. They came into my home broke my dryer got stains all over my carpet, cracked the pan underneath my washer and left the house acting like none of this happened. He knew what happened and admitted it for days later. He's an ethical and I wouldn't trust him with my house or my stuff. When I called them the owner, Who was the one that came to my house and did the services ,was so kind I will do everything to fix it we have a we have insurance. I called the next day to set that up the repairs and he's offering me $200 for all of those damages. He stated that my dryer was old and he can give me a used one that he currently has? Really!! My mom hired this company this past week to clean our dryer vent, something that needed to be done since we have never cleaned it in the 8 years we have lived in our home. I found their information on HomeAdvisor and we arranged for them to do the cleaning this past Saturday. The cleaner, a man named Giovanni, arrived on time and did an incredible job cleaning our apparently bad vent-they had go through and clean our vent four times to get all the dust bunnies out, as well as some scary dust clogs. C&C Home Services has cleaned our HVAC system, all the air ducts in our home, and installed a UV light in the HVAC system. Before the cleaning, our furniture got very dusty every two weeks (between house cleanings). Since the cleaning, the dust is very modest. It really worked! We were so pleased with their services, we referred them to an acquaintance. They cleaned their HVAC system and ducts. After the crew left, they called to say that the crew must have damaged the stairwell spindles with the hoses they use for cleaning. As we saw in our home, the hoses are not abrasive and are on the floor. The damage to the spindles was at the bottom or the spindles and close to the top of the spindles. It was highly unlikely that the hoses damaged many spindles both high and low. Nonetheless, C&H agreed to pay for the repair of the spindles--a sign of an A+ or 5-Star company that pays for client complaints, even if they don't believe they caused the damage. A week or so later, the client contacted C&H and said that wall paper on the walls near some of the vents that had been cleaned had been damaged (some seriously). Again, the owner of the company reviewed the damage and without any doubt in his mind, the procedures they use to clean vents would not provide the opportunity to damage the wallpaper as it had been damaged. Nonetheless, he agreed to pay for the repair of the wall paper too. I believe that the home owner's were being truthful about what they believed happened, but most likely wrong. But, even if they are right, I give C&H top credits for taking responsibility for the damages even thought they didn't believe they caused the damage. What company could get higher marks than this?! I called C&C Home Services after finding their info in the "Best Picks Reports book of Arlington, VA". I got an appointment to discuss pricing the very next day in the morning! At 8:00 a.m., Giovanni Corado came to my house to clean my home's air ducts and dryer vent. I could tell he knew what he was doing. He explained several things to me about the HVAC that I had no idea existed, he also recommended additional stuff needed to be cleaned in order to help with the air quality I was breathing. I suffer from allergies to dust so I need to always have the air ducts as clean as possible. The service provided was professional. I liked the fact the work has a 3-yr warranty. The bill $$$$ at the end was more than I was expecting at the beginning of the day but I am glad I got everything done at once. I would recommend this company to anyone. My only recommendation would be for Giovanni to wear shoe covers so he does not get dust inside people's homes. read more

Found C & C through HomeAdvisor and was very pleased with the process from start to finish. When I inquired about air duct and dryer vent cleaning through HA, C & C was the only company that called me and did so within 30 minutes of placing my request. Giovanni also followed up with a ballpark estimate and company information via email before we even spoke. The company was able to accommodate my schedule and arrived on time. Upon arrival, Giovanni confirmed the number of vents, location of furnace, dryer, etc. and explained the entire process to me. He and his assistant worked quickly and were very good about cleaning up. Along the way a couple of items were discovered (i.e. needed new dryer vent hose, humidifier issues). Again, he explained what was wrong with each item and gave me the option of having them do the work. I found their pricing to be very fair and their work excellent. It was easy to schedule an appointment (I used Home Advisor to find them) and the price was very reasonable for the area. Giovanni explained what he was going to be doing and who would be helping him with what equipment. He also explained the state our vents had been after the process was completed. Another update: 1/12/16. The owner of the company (Cez M, who posted his own review of his own company below but which is moderately hidden) contacted Yelp and asked for this review to be removed. Yelp removed it because they said it was not "first person interaction with the company". However, even though I did not initially hire C & C, the service was done on my home and I have the invoice for the service. I contacted them because the service was not finished and I asked to have it fixed by them. I offered them the opportunity. Their response? They hung up on me when I requested them to come back and to check the invoice. Later, when I posted the review, they then offered to come back and do the work, refund the money or offer a discount on additional services. So they acknowledged my concerns as a customer. I refused as the offer was made 2 1/2 months later and the work had then been completed. What I can't understand is a) why Yelp allows a business owner to write a glowing review of their own company and b) why they say I didn't have first person interaction with this company when I called them to follow up and the owner offered me in a Yelp message a refund and a discount? It wasn't until I refused it that they went on their personal vendetta to have the review removed. And Yelp -- your definition of "first person interaction" is not entirely reliable. If I have an invoice for services done on my house -- and I tried to speak with the owner -- and I have pictures of the damage they left behind -- that is first person interaction. Thanks! My original review: Their invoice states "All points of access are returned to their previous state". Unfortunately, this did not happen in the case of our home. We did not hire C&C but our tenant did. C&C cut holes in the ducts to do the cleaning (perfectly normal) but left without sealing them (not normal). Fortunately, one of my regular vendors noticed the holes and repaired it for us. My question would be, why didn't someone walk through the cleaning with the tenant and notice that two large holes had not been sealed? One reviewer says they were showed the before and after -- before and after might be a good idea, if only to check their own work. Updated 1/10/16. I reviewed this company back in October. And in fact, called them before I wrote the review to see if they could explain the lack of finished service. I never heard back. Until a few days ago when I received this message through Yelp: We want to thank you for your comments on October 16th and offer you our more sincere apologies, this doesn't happen often but it does happen and we would like to know more information on this matter so we can correct the problem and make sure it doesn't happen again. Please provide us with your tenants name and address and if you happen to know the name of the technician that clean your ducts that will be very helpful. we would like to refund the cost of the repair if there is any or maybe offer you a discount on your next services thanks for any help you can provide us with So -- I then responded letting them know that I had indeed called their company prior to the review , and whomever I spoke with gave me a great deal of attitude and was not at all helpful. And despite their offer, I would not be using them moving forward. C&C then just wrote me back again (1/10/16) telling me that it could not have been their company because it was family owned and no one would ever be rude. That they could find no record of the call. And that unless I could give them more information (information that was readily given to them on the call to their company back in the fall) they would contact Yelp and have the review removed. Which seems very combative when the unfinished work was definitely done by their company. Dear C&C. I called the number that was on the invoice provided -- showing that it was your company that did the service. The conversation I had was less than positive -- and that, combined with the fact that the company left holes in my duct work, was the reason for the review. Perhaps if the same amount of time and effort had been put in to correctly finishing the duct cleaning, this situation would not exist. This is my review. I solicited duct cleaning services info from HomeAdvisor.com for my daughter. The wrong contact phone number was auto-filled by my PC. Cesar Corado, C&C Home Services, LLC, after being told by my Mom during the first call that his services were not solicited or wanted by her became irate and called her twenty more times consecutively. He told her that we would keep calling until he got the answer he wanted. She contacted me to ask if I contacted anyone about duct cleaning. Upon realizing what had occurred, I contacted C&C Home Services, LLC spoke to Cesar Corado. I advised him if a party rejects his services, there is no need to keep calling to harass them. He replied that he will continue to harass my Mom. Following our conversation he called her several more times. Then I contacted Home Advisor.com to report the company. They came to clean my ducts. Had short cleaning tools. Did not know how to operate the AC and blew up dust into the whole home. They spent less than 30 seconds per duct. Showed me a pile of dirt. Told me AC coils needed cleaning - normal charge is $450 and since he is here he will do for $100. I told him i dont have the money as this $500 itself was high. He insisted and forced me to pay another $100. Then proceeded to spray compressed air over the coil for 20 seconds and said it was all done. I asked him if he could show me the ducts were clean with a camera and he said he could not. read more

I hired this company to clean my apartment on May 9th. The cleaning service was due to my impending move, and we had a walk through scheduled with the building manager that evening prior to move out. I waited patiently for the company to arrive at their designated time. After 20 minutes had passed, I called the contact phone number. The POC seemed surprised and did not seem to recall the scheduled appointment. After looking into it, he said he would call me back with more information. After 20 more minutes had passed, he called to tell me the employees were involved in a car accident and were unable to make it. If this is true, I hope those individuals are doing ok. However it seemed a little fishy to me, and like it would be a good excuse the miss the appointment. I asked if there was another crew who could assist with the cleaning, and the POC said he had no one who could come assist with the cleaning. This left me frustrated and really hindered the move experience. Especially since I had planned ahead several weeks. It is frustrating that the company did not to rectify the situation, or to try to send another team to assist with the cleaning later in the day. read more
