Last time I was here, I was just visiting, so everything was a blank slate. Today, they were set up as a garage sale type venue. We arrived after July 4th so avoided all the chaos. The timing of a post holiday visit allowed us to enjoy a quiet and peacefully slow paced stay. We enjoyed the lazy river, animal farm, fishing, bike riding, and nightly s'mores. The only down side was on our final night, the main restaurant had over an hour wait (on a week day) so I can't imagine what a typical packed weekend would look like.

If you do the work, you can make it pretty but doesn't solve the bathroom doors that don't close, the crooked flooring near them, or the staff anxious to get you out ASAP.
