We used to go to the place at Yonge/Lawrence but it's closed up now. Funny we called just to see if they were open and they said "yes, but oh by the way we're on the Danforth now". LOL we would have gone to the other place had he not told us. Food is just as good as the other place -- menu offers a wide range of tasty, well executed dishes at fair prices. We had a seafood pasta (daily special), chicken parm and chicken genovese pasta, with bruschetta and a couple of salads (caesar and the one with goat cheese and pears). All the main dishes were very good, the caesar salad was OK but not great. Service is beyond 5*, we are by no means regulars but we are repeat customers. But every time we go, we are treated like the most important customers they've ever had. The gentleman who is usually in the dining room (I think owns the place) truly acts like he cares about your meal and your experience. Case in point, it was near closing time when we arrived and they stayed open late to accommodate us, and did not rush us, probably ended up staying an hour later than they had planned JUST FOR US as we were the only table in the place at the end of the night. Could easily have said "sorry we are closing" but they didn't.

Decided to try this spot after it was highly recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint! Their prices are low compared to most restaurants these days, the food is flavourful, the portions are a decent size, and the service was great. Will definitely come again!

Apparently, a trattoria is a place that serves simple food, and Parma is a city in Northern Italy that is known for its prosciutto and cheese. If that's the case, then Trattoria Di Parma is perfecty named. My wife and I took advantage of their patio and went here for dinner. We got: - Bruschetta: Soft and crunchy in all the right places. The tomatoes tasted really fresh. - Insalata di Parma: Amazing and easily the best thing we had. The prosciutto was probably one of the tastiest we've had. The bosc pears were stuffed with gorgonzola and goat cheese, which made the contrasting tastes really work well. - Linguine Gaetta: Linguini with shrimps, calamari and mussels. Generous serving of the seafood, though would have liked the sauce to have just a bit more bite. - Shrimps and Scallops Diavollo: Scallops were cooked well (not rubbery at all), but would have liked the spicy sauce to have more kick. Also, this may sound funny but I'm being serious - the side roasted potatoes were really really really good. - Tiramisu: Light, airy, melt-in-your-mouth goodness. - Brownie Cheesecake: a bit small for the price. That said, it's heavy, sweet, food-coma-inducing goodness. Overall value was good. And last but not least, Joe was amazing - friendly vibe, quick service, gave great recommendations. Think we've found our go-to spot on the Danforth!

The food is delicious, very generous portions and lots of choice. The best bang for your buck on the Danforth! I love it and eat here a lot.

Very solid place that one probably had a similar experience if they went there 20 years ago…read more I had the moussaka and it was just what I wanted. The rice was actually a lot better than I expected. I know it's just a side, but rice at times from other Greek places isn't that great, and this was much better. My wife had the mix grill plate, and I helped. She absolutely loved the lamb. It was largely over the quality and the prep was fairly standard, but there's nothing wrong with that. The other parts didn't jump out, but were still perfectly good. The service was very attentive.

Having had moussaka ($33.95) at more chain-like Greek restaurants, Pantheon's version is lighter…read moreand fresher tasting. The potato layer feels fluffy and sandwiches thinly sliced eggplant, so the aubergine is rather pronounced. The ground beef mixture wasn't overly spiced and even the bechamel sauce was a thin layer, so it toasts the top but doesn't saturate the slice. Ultimately, it's not heavy so you could get through a full portion. A flaming saganaki ($19.95), the pan fried kefalotiri cheese, is a staple in Canadian Greek restaurants. It seems touristy to order but there's something endearing about setting a piece of cheese on fire and yelling "opa"! For me, the dish is more for the atmosphere than taste. Pantheon pan fries the cheese well, so it develops a crust even prior to flambeeing and serves it as a thick gooey slice. If only the accompanying bread wasn't so dry and mealy, a good saganaki calls for a better complement. Almost all their mains arrive with a sizeable Greek side salad that's smartly served first containing ample amounts of crumbled feta and some tomato, cucumbers, and onion over romaine. Their dressing is different, tamer and while still acidic there's a sweetness to it. Not sure, but perhaps they use a red wine vinegar and then blend the ingredients together so it's better combined? With the fishkebob souvlaki ($36.95) I was expecting fish, but it's really a seafood kebob containing shrimp, calamari and mushroom. It's cooked well with a faint grilled aroma, very tender, and lightly salted. Sadly, my steamed vegetables were merely carrots and didn't have the delicious garlicky green beans included on my friends' plates. Luckily, there was plenty with the moussaka so I could augment mine. At least there was an ample portion of roasted lemon potatoes that were soft and fluffy with a refreshing pronounced citrus finish. Pantheon doesn't skimp on the lamb chops that arrive with the entrée. And if you can't decide on what protein you'd like, their menu also offers some as add-ons. The lamb chop by the piece ($11.95) was bit gamier than I'd like but was cooked to a perfect medium doneness. A complimentary honey cake arrives for the table and is almost like having baklava in cake form. Just watch out, as the moist crumbly cake is difficult to pick up with a fork. Don't waste a bit of this delicious dessert, just use your fingers.

As a guest at a family celebration, I didn't catch the exact price of our menu, but judging from similar ones online, I'd estimate it around $798. Before committing to a $1,000+ spread, it's worth visiting to explore the more accessible offerings. The roasted suckling pig with jellyfish is a dish of contrasts: warm, rich pork paired with cool, crunchy jellyfish. It may have been my portion, but the pork leaned slightly fatty. Still, it was moist with a delicate, crispy skin. Instead of the usual deep-fried crab claw, Queen's serves a scallop with shrimp paste. It's easier to eat with a knife and fork, and while the sauce softens the crisp exterior, it adds a savoury depth without overwhelming the seafood. The crispy salted egg yolk prawns were impressively large and well cooked. I don't usually gravitate towards salted egg yolk, finding it heavy, but here it added a pleasant richness. Since the coating sits on the shell, it's easy to control how much you get. I also appreciated the inclusion of vegetables throughout the meal. The scallops came with gai lan, while the prawns were paired with broccoli, helping balance out the richness. Swapping out the usual shark fin soup, the bird's nest soup with minced chicken and egg white was a welcomed change. The broth was thick and silky, but the minced chicken added some much-needed texture. This is a long review for the rest go to Gastro World.
