Staff were friendly and welcoming and it was decorated pretty , but that's where the compliments end. We were seated at a small high top table that was supposed to seat 4, but only two of us were comfortable. Stools were not sturdy. When asked for a food menu we were told food was not available. They had a charcuterie board we were told but the ingredients were not appealing at all. We were told we could not bring food in but they could save our seats while we eat somewhere and come back . That would make us miss the trivia time we were so excited to play. I'm sorry but this makes absolutely no sense. This is ballpark village. All these eateries in this facility and there is no contract in place to allow customers to bring in food from the restaurants. Are you kidding me. Looking at the drink menu , it's pricey and the one drink I decide to order is not available, the Fireside spiked cider. Ok so let me recap 1) no food 2) can't bring food in 3) drink of choice not available 4) missed trivia night. Yeah this was an epic fail for me! That's it that's all. Not impressed!! On to the next !

The service was fast, the food was good, with a wide variety of bbq sauces. My favorite was the Mustarolina. You have to try the brisket! It was recommended by Lauren and she was not wrong. These days, very rarely can you go into a restaurant and be served good food that fast at that time of the day. Hats off to Lauren, Rachel (Manager) and the Salt + Smoke team for the work they do! Keep up the great work! Great atmosphere!

Salt and Smoke is soooo good!…read more I got a side dish and an appetizer and they both delivered! My favorite thing at a BBQ restaurant is trying their BBQ sauces with french fries. So I ordered a side of french fries which were beef fat fries giving it a unique flavor. The titles for the BBQ sauces had me googling them to ensure they weren't too spicey, even with the titles the spice levels weren't too high. I tried them all and settled on Hotangy. I also got the toasted Ravioli which is a must have! It's so unique with the flavors and best fresh! Service: Excellent! My waitress was very attentive and kept my water filled. Reservations Needed: It seems like walk in only. Happy Hour: Available on weekdays from 3pm to 6pm (I came outside this window). Outdoor Seating: There's a patio outside with some seating Parking: Downtown garage and street parking

Veggie chorizo is a plant-based version of traditional Mexican and Spanish spicy sausage, and it is flavorful and satisfying. The Power Plant veggie taco is a recommendation if you enjoy spicy flavors. Many customers, including myself, find the presentation of dine-in food in single-use disposable bowls with plastic utensils unappealing. It feels cheap and out of place for a full-service restaurant. Switching to reusable dishware would improve both the presentation and the overall dining experience. It is more aesthetically pleasing and environmentally friendly, requiring far fewer resources and less energy over its lifetime, often thousands of uses, compared with disposable products.

We both ordered flights of margaritas! my favorite was the dragonfruit! On the menu it said 2 flights for 20 dollars. later when we got our bill we were told it didn't apply to game days but it did not say that anywhere on the menu. The waitress did end up changing the price though since we didn't know. We ordered the lucy's fire, shrimp, blue dream and bad habit tacos. I think the Lucy's fire and bad habit were the best! We also got Queso and it was pretty tasty! It did take a while to get our food and they were not busy hardly at all. The service was fair! our waitress was kind but it was hard to get her attention as staff were chatting frequently at the bar. The venue was very visually pleasing! plenty of space and cool vibes! We most likely would not return but it was a good experience to try once!

One of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time…read more We came in for lunch and the restaurant was almost completely empty - there was literally only one other table there. You'd think service would be quick and attentive when the place is that slow, but somehow it was the exact opposite. Our waitress was unfriendly, barely checked on us, and getting anything we asked for took forever. For example, we asked for sides of mayo multiple times when ordering. When our food came out, of course it wasn't there. After asking again, it still took another five minutes to bring it. When a restaurant is basically empty, that kind of slow service is honestly impressive in the worst way. The most alarming part of the whole experience was the complete lack of care around a food allergy. My friend specifically told the waitress she has a dairy allergy and needed to make sure her wrap didn't have cheese. They brought it out with cheese anyway, and my friend had already eaten half of it when the waitress casually came over and said they made a mistake. No apology. No urgency. No concern whatsoever. Just completely nonchalant. If someone has a food allergy, that's not a small mistake ... that's potentially dangerous. The fact that she treated it like it was no big deal is honestly shocking. Even worse, no manager ever came over, no one tried to make it right. Then after we finished eating, we sat there for 30 minutes waiting for the check... again, with the restaurant basically empty. The only reason this place gets one star instead of zero is because the food itself wasn't terrible. My burger was decent and the Philly cheesesteak was fine...nothing special, but edible. But the service and the way they handled a known allergy mistake was completely unacceptable. If this is how they operate when the restaurant is empty, I can't imagine how bad it must be when they're actually busy. Would not recommend.
