I brought in rolls of coin, but because the coin machine was down they didn't want to do anything. I suggested I put my phone number on each roll, but that wasn't an option. There was nobody in line and I asked if they could count them. The teller asked for a supervisor. The supervisor suggested they use the coin machine because it isn't working for dimes only. I took my roll of dimes home, probably too hard to count a roll of dimes. My $21.50 in coin was deposited and my dimes are still in the roll. I just think the lack of effort is sad and they're a credit union for goodness sakes!! 3 hours later: the supervisor called me and explained the teller is new and their coin machine is working now. Travis credit union stinks! They r absolutely horrific ! I made a $3800.00 payment on my credit card, then tried to make a purchase w it which was declined. I called them and was told the card was "comprised" since about 2 weeks ago. They did not have the decency or respect to let me know that. I use credit card to pay my bills, by making significant payments and using that as my receipt as well. Travis has gone straight downhill every since that new CEO took over...he is horrible. I'm a CPA and have referred dozens of clients to TCU. Today they would not allow me to deposit an IRS refund check because my wife and I don't have a joint account. This credit union has become worthless to me. They wanted us to open a joint account. My wife and I have kept all of our accounts separate. This is not an unusual situation in CA for middle-aged couples. I've observed separate accounts for the past 30 years in practice. read more

The bank is okay, nothing different or special compared to any other bank. I Take issue with the manger of the Dixon Branch, MegAnn. Her attitude is belligerent and not helpful at all. This self important, pompus individual is NOT friendly toward businesses and frankly cannot be bothered to lift a finger to help in any way. I have been banking there for over a decade and have 5 separeate accounts but she chose not to cash an IRS check. This is scary to me with all the bank closures we hear about in the news. Travis is a refreshingly different financial institution. The folks here are well trained and every one of them seems to know what they are doing even for off-beat stuff. They are quick, efficient, accommodating, and friendly too. Also, the branch seems to be well managed and there is hardly ever a wait. I have never been charged any "surprise" fees here and they are open and honest with all their dealings - which is more that I can say for any of the "Big-Brother-Banks." Without having to consult with a superior about "What to do," The teller that I got was able to satisfactorily complete a complicated transaction in less than 15 minutes what an incompetent Wells Fargo teller botched after over an hour of consulting - (he really didn't know what he was doing and left me holding the bag with a half done job). Horrible customer service. They never pick up the phone live and are still using the Covid excuse. No one there had the decency to call or send a simple email to remind me that my Visa card payment with them was going 30 days past. Made a payment in June but that was not enough for them. When you call in, the only option is for you to make an automated payment never warning you of the 30 day late reporting to the credit bureaus. My wife being in the hospital meant crap to them. Horrible human beings! As soon as I can I am out of there! 10 years with them for nothing. There are better options. read more

I then called customer service and they told me that the check would not be redeposited, and that I had to re-issue a check. My landlord told me to double check, because she had a situation in which a check was redeposited with Travis. So, I went to the branch and point blank asked the teller, and she told they would not redeposit the check and that I had to re-issue one. I asked her if she was sure. She said they never do that. So, I reissued a check to my landlord. The next day the original check went through and so I had to put a stop payment on the replacement check. I went to the branch manager, Megan and told her what had happened and that they should train their employees better about their process. She was very smug and did not seem to care in the least. So much for customer service. Horrible attitude. They should replace her with someone who cares. I see another review here as well bringing her attitude to the forefront. Travis used to be such a wonderful credit Union with a great customer service, friendly and helpful tellers/service staff, etc. that I was proud to be its member, and kept my account active for over 30 years despite the inconvenience of the long travels to the nearest branch office. I had noticed the deterioration in how they treat their customers since the Pandemic, but I didn't jump ship out of loyalty, and I figured maybe they were rude because I looked pretty grubby with lack of sleep traveling back and forth taking care of an ill parent in a city that's passed the branch office. In fact, I was even going to move our joint account and some of my other funds there with the new incentive. Because carrying large funds makes me nervous, I just took the minimum amount since I had been told by a teller during my previous visit that once I open the new account, I should be able to transfer more into it later. But, when I got there, they said no. While the fact that they said no is not an issue since the previous teller could have mistaken as well as the helper I spoke to othe phone 2 days prior, it's how they treated the check I had brought like an embarrassment and answered my questions with questions with the attitude of an interrogator and just stared me down. I never thought about this anywhere before, but the experience made me wonder if I was treated like that because I'm an Asian female and people think we make easy picking (because today, I made sure I didn't look grubby). It was a horrible feeling, MegAnn! I was ignorant of any real feelings of a racial discrimination by an institution before, but you did a real good job of teaching me that today. One word; Slow. There are five windows and usually only 2 people at the windows while there is a massive line. Not great if you're in a hurry. People are rude too. And their computers are down a lot. read more

This place is Awful. People at the new account & loan are very unfriendly. It's not even busy and all I see are these two girls are chatting. The better place to go to is the one in Woodland. In and out and very friendly people. Waiting for like 20 mins here and still waiting while I'm posting this. There's a lady name Katelyn was very unpleasant. Didn't even acknowledge anyone on the floor that it will take a little time for her to assist the other customer. Need lots of improvement in customer service at this place. read more

This bank used to be a fair bank getting loans and and I never was late on any pmt Of any kind. I wanted refinance my new Harley Davidson and these idiots turn me down quicker than I can say Jack Robinson yet my credit score is pretty damn good and I have an excellent FICO score their excuse was debt to ratio bunch of b*******. I make excellent money never late paying my bills and I got money in the bank and yet these assholes said no. Given my recently acquired work hours and location, I decided to use my 30 minute lunch break to attempt to resolve the fees I owe. I went into the Dixon branch after 2 other failed attempts to address recently closed checking account and also in order to pay on my credit card. I walked directly up to the clerk/member service rep sitting near the entrance. I explained what fees I owe that had previously been explained me (according to my other negative experiences 2 days prior at the Fairfield Texas Street and Suisun branches). I indicated that I only had about 10 minutes so if she could call for approval I had a check that should resolve everything. My total fees included $23 overdraft and $55 towards my credit card up towards $110 if I included the payment that was due later in the month... Total would have been $133 at the most... so the difference from my $200 check would be $67 or I could have paid the overdraft fees and one credit card payment for a total of $78 and used my $105 check with $27 due to me as change. (These were my perceived options as I was very upset with the lack of customer service previously and could not reason why I would apply additional monies to a new account.) Here's the problem... the representative wasn't able to help me since I DON'T have a bank account with them. Are you kidding me... my account gets closed a week prior without a courtesy call and now Travis won't cash a check for me to pay my fees or give me as little as $27 change. I'm actually considered a liability because my account was closed over $23. This has got to be biggest the joke. So again, third attempt, third branch in a row and I get no where trying to resolve this issue. I'm far from the typical person who will complain or make a spectacle of themselves, but I just can't see how this is considered reasonable customer service when I have banked with Travis for nearly 30 years. Why is it that no other clerk/rep made mention prior of not being able to accept payment in the form of a check in order to resolve the fees. It's not only poor interpersonal skills from the member service reps, but the piecemeal and variance in response across reps/locations. TERRIBLE... I expect to hear back from corporate. read more

Run, don't walk. This credit union is ripping me off in a major way. I just went over my history with them and balances my account. They charged overdraft fees before charges hit the account, have taken me for over $200 in a months time and in the end my account should never have been in the negative at any time. I am showing a negative balance of $203 when I should by all rights have $45 balance. Don't go there if you value your social security check. read more

I've been with Travis Credit Union for 3 years and this is the only branch I've had an issue with. They are by far the rudest branch. The only reason why I continue to go here is because I live down the street. If I know I'm going to be in Vacaville I just wait to go to a branch there. The tellers here have the worst customer service and do not know how to smile. I had questioned something I was confused on and the teller gave me an attitude about it amd couldn't give me a straight answer. I ended up going to one of the branches in Vacaville and they helped me out with no problem. I would only go here for convenience but definetly dont go out of your way to come here. read more

If I was able to give this brank a negative -10 it still wouldn't represent the rude and non-professionalism of how their branch manager and other account specialist represent knowledge of banking. We had been member of the TFCU since the mid 60's and mostly I'd say good service. Our family went into the bank to close out a money market account and the rudeness of both the counter and branch Manager was disgusting. This was on my mother's account and they treated our family life criminals. They openly ask her personnel questions right in front of others. If they thought something was out of place then ask her to come into a back office to talk it....not out in the open... then after taking over an hour to close out the account. They after being told everything was ok and no one was stealing money they have the nerve to send "CPS" to my home..WTF !!! GIVES THEM THAT RIGHT???? BEWARE THE TCU GAVE UP THE TFCU ATTEMPING TO BE SOMETHING THEY AREN'T.... I wouldn't recommend this banking facility to anyone and tell them to "RUN AWAY" as fast as possible. read more
